After only 4 Nightwish's songs, you are already emotionally attached to them, like all of us. Know that you were not the only one with tears in our eyes. In my opinion, they transmit a strong wave of optimistic energy, reflected back by the crowd (fact confirmed by Floor in an interview, as I remember) - so it's a positive feedback loop, with an amplifying effect. I find it amazing that we all feel this even in a recorded broadcast years later through computer screens, which means that the atmosphere of the concert was really electrifying. Personally, both me and many of us have found emotional support in difficult times of our lives listening to Nightwish music. Considering that apparently this is happening to you too, I predict that you will become a fan of the band in a very short time.
Gabriel, you magnificent human being! Thank you for being here and bringing the Army behind you. It is far to late for me my friend. I am afraid that I am as addicted as they get currently. It is very hard not to continue on the journey until recording time! LOL. I truly truly appreciate all of the information and history that you have blessed me with about this amazing band. I have seen and felt the love from the Nightwish Army and it is beyond comforting. Thank you for everything you do. I am certain that watching the Wacken concert from 2013 brings back this magical feeling, where we just want to be there, be children, and enjoy the music, the emotions, the positive energy. I don't think any other live video (from other band) gives me this kind of energy, and the crowd certainly contributes to this. This is like doping.
The song and performance are both amazing but what really gets me is how incredibly happy everybody looks. This was possibly the best night of some of those people's lives. Pure joy immortalized in video. It's really something special.

Nightwish was the first band I was interested in when I was a little kid. I have grown up with every new album which are like milestones in my life. Just like Tuomas' music writing evolved and matured over time so did I. I guess with my 21 years I am somewhat an adult now. What a crazy feeling. And Nightwish is still there, their music is still by my side. Helping me through hard times and amplifying my happiness. I feel so blessed to be able to have grown up with this music and how it shaped me. And every person who tears up to their songs makes me feel so connected to them. Because same! Since ever. And every time. Nightwish isn't a band. It's an experience. It's pure emotion - good and bad. I hope you will find just as much joy in their music as I did in over 20 years.
Damn you, you made me cry, and I have already heard this song no less than 100 times, and that is the secret of nightwish, it is not just songs, it is MAGIC as you said. That's why I love to see reactions, it's nice to see how some people feel and not just hear a band playing something. Unfortunately 70% of the reactions are for other interests ... Can you imagine having been there or at any other NW concert, you never forget that. It's magic !!!
Loved your reaction there. I find the song brings me back to those wonderful childhood days. References to Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, Mary Poppins and the Snowman all together with Floor's amazing vocals are just too much!!
Yeah dude, I love this song too. This group also brings me to tears at times from the shear brilliance of what they do. Tuomas's poetry, the band's musicianship and camaraderie, and Floor's empathetic channeling of Tuomas's lyrics with her exquisite voice. Unsurpassed and often moving.
On to Romanticide! Loved your reaction. There are so many great Nightwish songs to experience, live or recorded. Enjoy this time of exploring them all. Love 7 Days To The Wolves, Dead Boy’s Poem, Dark Chest Of Wonders. They all will surprise you.
Wacken 2013 is incredibly special. The starts aligned that night and magic was created. Subscribed. Believe me, you’re in for a WILD ride with Romanticide.
These Nightwish reactions, it is the ones that bring people to tears which are the best reactions. And we are all glued to our screen looking for that shine in people's eyes. That's what we want to see and when we do we start crying too if we aren't already.
Feel the feels mate. There's someone in the crowd at this show I think that's got a big sign "thank you Tuomas for all the emotions" All of them all the time with nightwish
It's perfectly normal to feel something emotionally so pure and good when listening to Nightwish. They have a few varied songs and you will find them out the more you venture down the rabbit hole, and through their discography. I know you're probably a few songs away yet from the *BIG* one, but write down The Greatest Show on Earth Live @ Tampere (this version is best) when you feel you've seen enough Nightwish songs. I say a few songs away, as you've barely scratched the surface, but a few (if they haven't been recommended already) are 7 days to the Wolves Live @ Wembley 2015, Alpenglow @ Wembley 2015, While your Lips Are Still Red (studio version) The Islander (either studio version or Live @ Tampere is good) Poet and the Pendulum Live @ Wembley 2015 **You'll be best doing some research for this as there was some stuff happening in the band at the time and finding out the meaning behind the song will make the lyrics and the song structure make more sense.** So glad to see someone coming into the Nightwish Army!
Dude, the emotion is part of the whole 'Floorgasm' thing. Now you understand why that particular phrase was coined! It's not just you that experiences this...
Loved your reaction :) This is one of my favorite performances! This song in particular, idk it just pulls on something so nostalgic that goes beyond just mentioning Peter Pan. Our affinity for storytelling is one of our most redeeming features, and sometimes I think we forget how much that really means. Getting distracted with how quickly the world moves now, having to always be up to date on so many things, I think we forget about these feelings that connect us through the way we share stories. That's what this song does for me at least. It's also heart-warming to see how happy the whole band is during this performance! Can't wait to see your next reaction.
Zuri! Thanks you for the kind words. I totally agree that it does something. It brings out the child in you again...or makes you remember your more innocent days or something. It's SO magic!
Heh, exactly the same reaction I got when I first heard Floor sing this. Its awesome mate, submit yourself to the rollercoaster ride that is Nightwish! Have a great journey. I'll be watching.
Loved the reaction! Emotions is great! I got emotional a lot of times, I think it’s just most natural reaction to the songs like this. I think we get this effect because Tuomas very very honest in his songs and everybody could feel this pure and innocent energy. He writes music not for fame or profits, he writes from his heart really.
Thanks Karim! It definitely didn't feel natural! LOL More supernatural. But it was definitely a show of extreme innocence. Thanks for commenting and for being here for the reaction!
You resonated with this song Legend. Thanks for sharing. A lot of us adults.. suffer from the "weak fantasy" society sometimes pushes, it's when we remember real fantasy, real stories and the good times we had that we realize our loss. Great reaction.

Thanks for being here Magga!
Bruh, I think you got some Nightwish magic dust in your eyes! Sweet reaction
Loved your reaction there. I find the song brings me back to those wonderful childhood days. References to Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, Mary Poppins and the Snowman all together with Floor's amazing vocals are just too much!!
Welcome to the Nightwish family! Floorgasms for all! 👍😊
I love them the most because of their energy and emotion ... thank you, I see you understand👋😻
It's actually lovely to see that somebody had the same reaction to this song that I did - this is my favourite, I find it really moving.
This song makes me smile. NW evokes different emotions in us and that's what makes them great.
Very powerful stuff Tero. Thanks for being here with me to share the magic!
I just heard this song for the first time a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it! Another great reaction!
you understand the music... thats why you get the feelings....
*"That was a hell of a Story.."* Nailed it!!
You're a good man. I love your musical passion. Just a wonderful reaction to a wonderful band.
You got me dude - when i see someone feel music like you do, like i do, then i have to sub. Welcome to the NightWish family 🤘
very cool reaction,
greetings from the Nightwish Army from Germany :-)
Warm welcome to the Nightwish family. The rabbitt hole is going to be huge and unfortunately there is no turning back. Greetings from 🇫🇮
I cry with Nightwish when the emotion no longer fits inside my body
Wacken 2013 is incredibly special. The starts aligned that night and magic was created. Subscribed. Believe me, you’re in for a WILD ride with Romanticide.
Thank you tuomas to let us feel these emotions what your song bring to us ❤️🙏
I appreciate your realness and I feel you brother. This music always hits right into the soul, straight to the feels. Much love from Ireland.
Omg, This is terrific!
Floor recently did a solo cover of Oblivion, I highly recommend it.
Outstanding! Thanks for the recommend Mr. Bluebird!
These Nightwish reactions, it is the ones that bring people to tears which are the best reactions. And we are all glued to our screen looking for that shine in people's eyes. That's what we want to see and when we do we start crying too if we aren't already.
Great reaction, it's emotional for all the Nigtwisch family. It's bind us, to enjoy this life experience. We are the lucky people 🤘❤️🍀🇳🇱
Nightwish Army has arrived Bro 🤘💜🔥🎻🙏🏼
Feel the feels mate. There's someone in the crowd at this show I think that's got a big sign "thank you Tuomas for all the emotions"
All of them all the time with nightwish
Your not alone. There is just something about this band, the songs and those voices.
I say a few songs away, as you've barely scratched the surface, but a few (if they haven't been recommended already) are 7 days to the Wolves Live @ Wembley 2015, Alpenglow @ Wembley 2015, While your Lips Are Still Red (studio version) The Islander (either studio version or Live @ Tampere is good)
Poet and the Pendulum Live @ Wembley 2015 **You'll be best doing some research for this as there was some stuff happening in the band at the time and finding out the meaning behind the song will make the lyrics and the song structure make more sense.**
So glad to see someone coming into the Nightwish Army!
Gracias por tu emoción,naturalidad,y por descubrir a esta gente al igual que yo desde hace poco tiempo.
This was beautiful; I cried right along with you. Thank you so much for sharing this moment with us
"She's from another earth" --> I absolutely agree..
The Band is tight. The front women has PRESENCE! She had 80,000 + people in the palm of her hand.
Yes, Nightwish does that, pure emotion through music...
This is a must react/watch for every reactor/fan worth their salt. It is a watershed moment for you brother. Welcome aboard and fasten you seat belt.
Great ... to see the emotion ! ..takes a real man ... to show it ! ... greets from the Netherlands
Thanks for that Hans. Glad you are here!
You can always follow Gabriel. He will lead you........have a wonderful Nightwish time....
Yea man, some times they hit ya in the feels and you cant understand why. Another great reaction 😎🤘
This is in my opinion my favorite song fantastic reaction
Thank you so much for the kind words Robert. I truly do appreciate you.
Love the Dutch windmills

We'll definitely keep going down the hole. This is an adventure you really don't want to stop.
