Thanks for the handy video. Once I figured out the right wires and connections to use, the test worked well and powered up both fans. Now on to the next possibilities. Cheers.
You got it bro. That's is the simple and effective way to resolve the problem, not like the other "mechanics" showing off the expensive shit stuff and making a simple problem a big fucken deal.i will give you a like.
I have a 03' crv with almost 300.000 miles on it.done a transmission on it ,fan motors, starter and a couple of belts.they are very good autos.i deliver mail part time on rural mail routes.that will tell you without a doubt what a vehicle is made of and the crv has been a good one
you forgot that it could be a cooling sensor but yes testing the fans directly is a sure-shot to trouble shot, fyi there is also a fan fase in the compartment where the relays are located-its a 30a fuse check the diagrams thanks for the upload
THANX FOR THE EFFORT IN MAKING THIS VIDEO. KEEP IT UP. VERY HELPFUL. MY PROBLEM IS INTERMITTENT. REPLACED THE TRANSISTOR. CHECKED THE RELAYS. WHAT NEXT PLEASE?
WOW thank you! I decided to give that a try and surely enough it actually started working Lol! It's been two months since you posted this, have you had any trouble since or was this just a temporary fix? Thanks again!
+Karlis B temporary yes. Had to replace it cause it kept sticking. Amazon has it for around 90. Not too hard just time consuming. Best when car is cool.
+CruzDeuce thank you so much for your reply. I was really hoping I wouldn't have to replace it. it's just so much involved trying to actually unscrew everything. :-/
+Karlis B ratchet, sockets, gloves, long sleeve shirt. Magnetic tray for bolts. Couple beers too. You'll be fine lol. oh yeah some coolant cause you will lose a little fluid.
I have a 2003 Honda Accord, would you happen to know when the condenser fan is supposed to turn on? The one you show here is the cooling fan, so I mean the one on the drivers side. Is it supposed to come on whenever the AC is on? Or whenever the AC is on and the car begins to heat up a little too much? Great video btw, great tips.
Sir, only if i seen your video about a couple weeks ago i could have possible save my car. If i had known, check fuses, check relay, lastly check the actually fan. My car keep over heating and now i need another engine. I had a faulty relay that stay on and my thermostat stay stuck closed.
, one fan is for engine cooling the other is for A/C. The A/C fan will start to stay on longer as the pressures rise in the high line for temperature exchange. The other will cycle as engine temps rise and fall.
I believe if we gave that man a taco, he'd do the next video to show the fan installment. Great job Amigo! You are saving us Gringos a lot of pesos! Adios!
Rey Nayar lo malo que todos los videos que ai de honda accord son todos en ingles😭yo tengo un 2003 y mi motor cuando lo prendo tiembla mucho y cuando paso un bache o tope truena algo abajo lo tengo en mexico

Sir , you can also check if the fan is working or not ?? by turning the A/C on . the tow fans will automatically work
nice.....I hooked up two spade connectors and went straight to checking the fan. It was bad. Now I just need to change the fan

CruzDeuce well I don't drink, but after all of that I probably will need a few beers lol.
hey ,Ed I have a question what triggers the fan to trun on ? is it the fan sensor or the coolant temperature sensor?
Thanks! Really helped out! Well explained!

Could it be a bad cooling fan switch which is screwed into the lower part of the radiator?

I have the same problem what about if my cooling fans are working? is the switch cooling fan motor
What if someone cut the original wiring from it's connection and bypassed and can't where it goes or it will do to motor ?
Where is the video for the cooling fan replacement?
Can you sell the radiator fans from a cracked rad?
And if all of that works fine, then replace the Cooling Fan Switch ! That's what caused my fan not to kick on...04 Accord EX V6 6 speed manual.
HEY BRO MY FAN STILL ON after i turn the car off and go home, and when i come back next day my battery dies what could it be? it happen like 5 times 😪😪
What if the fans do turn on when ac is on.. without the ac been on the niddle goes way pass to 80-90% hot.
, one fan is for engine cooling the other is for A/C. The A/C fan will start to stay on longer as the pressures rise in the high line for temperature exchange. The other will cycle as engine temps rise and fall.
So the one on the driver side is the engine cooling Fan and the one on the Passenger side is the A/C Fan Right.
I believe if we gave that man a taco, he'd do the next video to show the fan installment. Great job Amigo! You are saving us Gringos a lot of pesos! Adios!
