- In today's video I detail what's been going on with my pregnancy and a major life update over the past few months. Since my last update, I took my glucose tolerance test for gestational diabetes and received my TDAP vaccine for whooping cough protection. I also learned more about baby's position and detail what I'm doing to help baby find his/her best position over the next few months.
I also share the wonderful Wumblekin 3rd trimester box. If you're interested in checking out any of the trimester, labor or postpartum boxes, head over to their website: wumblekin.com
and use my code NURSEZABE for 15% off your first box!
Lastly, we are still working on naming this baby. Please leave some of your favorite baby names below? Does your child have a name that has a special meaning? Please share that too!

Yayy! Congrats on 3rd trimester! I found out I'm pregnant with twins!
Me too! Just made it to the second trimester!
Congrats on the twins! I'll be sending good wishes your pregnancy!
Oh wow, congrats to you!!!
Thank you all! ♥
I got 7 .5 weeks left until my due date of May 11 but I'm praying I go into labor 38-39 weeks. With my daughter I went into labor on my own at 38 weeks 3 days, I was only 1 cm but contracting , water broke as well at 1cm so I needed pitocin to augmentate due to being strep b positive.
So far baby is head down since 28 weeks like my daughter was(I have a doppler I ckeck now and then) heart beat is usually lower left or lower right groin/ ..sometimes center under belly button. Which I was told by my OB and nurse that baby is head down for sure. I have been getting lots of Braxton hicks(painful ones, some are just tightening)and i even lost piece of my mucus plug most likely (snotty yellow discharge) at 30 weeks. I went and I got checked cause I had some menstrual cramps hour after I lost part of my mucus plug. My cervix was no where near showing signs of labor. So that was good.
If my baby is on my right side facing my left side but head down..is labor truly longer?
I really hope our deliveries go smooth. I'm so anxious about the delivery my heart palpitations increased this week but all my doctors I see says it's normal especially since i had these for years and they increased during my first pregnancy. They won't do a full work up even though I asked for a peace of mind. I know I'm healthy but what if end up with cardiomyopathy.
Just hit 36 weeks and decided to cancel my planned c section and try for a vbac!
Lmboo. I went back to my car for a nap during my glucose test
You fell! Noooooo. Ugh. Hope you get better
Congratulations!!! All birth is beautiful and valid so whatever happens I hope it’s an amazing corrective experience for you!! You were built for this, you’re ready. Your body is ready. You got this moma!!
Thank you for the update! You are killing it (per usual)!
Congrats on reaching your third trimester! I love watching your videos and hearing your actual pregnancy experience as an L&D nurse. You always have the best attitude and are so informational. Good luck with this last step and good luck with your move!
PLEASE could you do for us a “fitnesses” video? With exercise during pregnancy (especially 3rd trimester and getting for labour), all these positions which we should do? 💛💪🏻
I’m so excited for you! I’m having my second in July and your videos have been so helpful. I hope you don’t have any more migraines or intense leg cramps 💗
Congrats on the 3rd trimester! We are 18w today with our surviving twin! Our obgyn is feeling better every week that he's gonna be ok! He just has to pass his anatomy scan and get a good echocardiogram result and we can really feel good about his health 🧡 wishing you a wonderful and healthy last months!
I'm due with my first in a week and so excited. Your videos have been absolutely invaluable to me, I've recommended them to my pregnant friends. Hubby and I did the hospital birthing class here in Sydney Australia but honestly I have learnt so much more from you so thank you so much!
I’m so glad you weren’t injured during your fall, how scary! Many blessings for your last trimester
Congratulations 🥳 enjoy as much as possible as I’m 37 weeks pregnant and I am in early labour contractions are all over the place they have been for three weeks but enjoying everything before I see my baby girl. Sending best wishes xx
I just found your channel a few weeks ago and I am so glad I did. Your information is realistic and actually helpful. I'm really enjoying your content. Thank you! I am currently 31 weeks pregnant with baby #2, so our due dates are fairly close!! Congratulations!
I will be 33 weeks on friday! Im so uncomfortable, it feels like my son is still head down and yet also stretching sideways and being crazy in here. I have another scan just before my 34 week mark to check on if the placenta moved completely. Im hoping and praying it has moved! This pregnancyhas been so well so far. WAYYY better than my first pregnancy and I'm stronger with no blood pressure issues like last time. Congratulations! Im so excited for you!
I’m due June 4th with my first I was so happy to come across your videos last year and was even happier to see all your “current pregnancy videos” it was perfect timing, love following your journey! 😍❤️
This is my due date as well!!! Ivf baby boy and also my first !! Best wishes ❤️❤️
Congrats! I've been working through your videos and really enjoy them :) Currently 39 weeks and 3 days with baby #1. woohoo you got this!
Love your videos! I'm 30 weeks pregnant with my first-- due June 1st. Your videos have been so helpful, especially since our due dates are so close. I 100% agree a mini vacation with a margarita flavored drink for the gestational diabetes test would make it less unpleasant. I haven't been too bad about missing alcohol until this trimester-- I'm so ready for a drink lol.
No way! I feel like you just announced you’re expecting! So exciting ❤️
I’m 29+5 today (3/21/21) with my first baby, our daughter! 💕 she’s due June 1, right with you! Your videos have been tremendously helpful for me to ask questions at my appointments because I feel like I don’t know what I don’t know about pregnancy lol. I hope for a safe and healthy delivery for us both!
I'm not expecting or planning on having a baby anytime soon, but I found your channel and I like it a lot. Its very informative and I love your energy. Keep up the good work and congrats on baby number 3
34 weeks tomorrow, first baby, so excited!
Here in Switzerland, for the glucose, I just had to do a blood test, and if the results had not been good, then I would have had to do the 3 hour thing with the drinks. So glad I didn't have to!
Thanks for your videos, they're really helping me prepare!
Love all your videos! They have been so helpful and now I’m watching this one with my 2-week old son sleeping on my chest while you’re in your third trimester. I feel like things have come full circle. LOL
29 weeks 4 days here (3/18) with twin boys and having to go twice a week for precautions!!! God luck with your build!!
35+3 here! We're having a hard time with names too. Nothing appeals to me, so I'm of the belief that he'll whisper his name to me after he's born.
And I LOVE your idea of a mini vacay during the glucose test!
And I just took my glucose test last week as well... I was nauseous for 3 days 🤢 love hearing about your journey ❤️
Congrats!! My second liked all the open space my first created and was doing somersaults inside until the end. She was transverse the morning of my csection when we checked her and was frank breech by 4:30 pm when she was born. 🤦🏼♀️ she was moving and grooving until the end.
I’m not pregnant nor do I have kids, but I really enjoy your videos! Lookin good, ma!
I love your videos. Thank you so much for giving me soooo much knowledge during my pregnancy. I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. Congratulations on your pregnancy! Many blessings to you and your family!! ❤️❤️❤️
I had my test a little over two weeks ago. I had a glucose tolerance challenge when I was 16 and I remember the drink being super sugary but I've been having sugar aversions so downing that stuff while being pregnant and nauseated was awful. I downed my drink, had my ultrasound, saw my doctor, and only had to wait maybe 15 more minutes before I had my blood draw. I passed thankfully and am so glad I didn't have to do the 3 hour. I'm almost 29 weeks, I can't believe how quickly his due date is coming!
I'm due May 30th! Almost due date buddies - I have loved watching your videos during this journey! Some of our favorite baby names we were thinking about were: Flora and Gwen & Griffin and Owen! We know we are having a boy and going with Arthur Ray, good luck with the next few weeks!
I just found out I’m pregnant yesterday and I am looking forward to the whole experience.
I am 18 weeks and 1 day. I never realised you were pregnant as I've been watching your past videos as you were recommended as I've been looking at info you make and here you are, also pregnant woohoo
We are literally 2 days apart! I'm 29 weeks today :) But measuring big at 31 weeks. Love the pregnancy content!
Congratulations! ❤️
I just found your videos and have been binge watching them. Absolutely love them! I’m due 4/29 with baby 4!
I'm 31 weeks at the moment, 1st baby! 🥰 had a really bad experience with the new way they are testing glucose here (Ireland) but most of all dreading not having my husband with me for labour. Guidelines over here haven't changed since covid 1st hit... he did manage to be there for 20 wk scan which was great. But can only be in for active labour...😔 But we'll get there as long as we all get home safe and sound! ♡
Love your videos! I am current 25 weeks and due at the end of June! I’m having horrible leg cramping as well! Do you have any tips for that? This is my first baby and your videos have made me feel so much better about how I feel! So thank you!! ❤️
You have the cutest bump! Looking gorgeous 😊 I am almost 24 weeks with my first baby and the changes in my body are so fascinating, haha.
“You think you can do these things.. but you can’t!” Hahaha I so relate.. I clip my stomach on doorways and everywhere else haha
💙 Paxton, Ezra, Elias, Gabriel
💕 Claire, Leanna, Carissa, Rosalie
I LOVE your videos nurseZabe 🥰 you are very informative and no nonsense when it comes to information... Which I love! And I'm so glad you just put it out there and tell us how it is!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge, pregnancy and your life with us😊
Can't wait to see your little one's sweet face!!! 💕💙💕💙💕
You should design your own L&D gowns! I would totally buy it 😩
It's so fun to see these updates, I am about 4 weeks behind you with baby #3! Also a surprise gender baby 💚
Not looking forward to the glucose test 🙄
I am weirdly comforted by hearing that someone else is completely stuck when it comes to names. We had one boy name...which we used for our firstborn. It had tons of meaning for us, and we cannot come up with ANYTHING of equivalent significance. No idea if this kiddo is a boy, but it seems likely considering how preposterously difficult this simple task has been!
I'm due on May 28th, so very much on the same timeline as you! Here's hoping for on-time or slightly early babies and swift labors!
38+6 right now, baby girl Lyria will be here any day now. “You think you can do that Nemo but you can’t” really feeling that right now, especially maneuvering around my kitchen, especially when my husband is also in the kitchen.
My husband and I argued over names forever. We finally agreed on Flynn for our baby boy (due in June).
Due June 1st. Fascinating to follow your pregnancy right alongside my own. Thanks for all of your insights.
We're due around the same time! I'm due on May 21st!!! I'm doing my glucose test on Monday (super late at 31 weeks, but I just moved across states...and I only found out about baby 10 weeks ago)... hopefully it's not too bad :)
We are pregnant together! So exciting!
The three exercises/stretching you mentioned I never heard of before. I would like to research them to better my chances for a easier labor
We have the same due date, how fun!!
Congratulations! Me too! I'm 30 weeks pregnant as of Tuesday! So tired!
37 weeks and loving all your videos!
Congratulations 🍾 Pregnancy will be over before you know it 😊
I know. That’s kind of scary too 😂😬. Scary but beautiful and amazing!
Woohoo! Yay Zabe! Im 20w6d today.
I love your sense of humor 🤣❤️
Just found out we're expecting again. My twins will be 3 in June, my son just turned 1 the 16th. Should be due around November but waiting to confirm. I definitely feel like I've been pregnant for years LOL
If we hadn't gone with Henry for our second boy I really liked Max or Asher.
We just found out we're having a girl!! 🌸 We are grateful because we were worried about finding a boy name haha.
I love watching your videos and seeing you pregnancy updates I can relate to this video so much 😂 im 28 weeks tomorrow so due 11 days after you! I have my glucose test one Monday I live in the UK and i have been told my appointment will take 3hours and not allowed to eat past 10pm the night i am not looking forward to it at all i am also starting to feel very big and uncomfortable! My little man was breach at my 24 week scan so hoping he flipped i will find out in a couple weeks if he has or not! Hope you start to feel comfortable again soon and get plenty of rest! Xx
Good luck with your test!!
That margarita flavor is the best idea I've heard !!
I totally feel you on not having enough to do while pregnant lol. Right after our first was born we moved 2000 miles away from all family and friends for a job. With my current pregnancy (our second) we have decided it would be a great idea to purchase a fixer upper and move a month before baby is due🤦♀️
Im 27 weeks! You seem a lot more prepared than me😊
I’m 25 weeks, so looking forward to reaching the third trimester mark lol 🙌🏻 we have a Carson Matthew already, and our girl will be Piper Kate 🥰
So excited for this!! 36 days away from my due date! Currently colostrum harvesting while watching this x
That’s awesome!! Collect that liquid gold!
I am 40 days out from my due date with #4, and don’t know how you have colostrum yet? Is that a thing? Doesn’t the baby/hormones from labor kicking in make your colostrum show up?
@@heathermarksbury3181 everyone is different, I never dried up fully after baby #1
@@heathermarksbury3181 yep every pregnancy is different too. I’m pregnant with #5 and have leaked with the last 2 starting around 25 weeks. Placenta detaching is what triggers milk coming in, but colostrum can come in during pregnancy 😊
Omg I am 30 weeks and due 26 may.... I cant believe we are going around the same time... this is my first so looking forward to your videos for motivation...❤
Our due date is the same🥺
I’m 31 weeks and have been craving a margarita (specifically the taste of tequila) this entire pregnancy...so I feel you girl 😅
🤣 36w and same
Me too and a mezcal paloma
i’m 37w today and i want a beer lol
Are you having a girl? I craved margaritas with my girls but not my son.
me too🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣and am only 13 weeks 😩so i have to wait..
My glucose tolerance test was fasting with a blood draw at 1 & 2 hours. I enjoyed the 2 hours of kid free time.
4 babies down, no GD so far, and hoping and praying that #5 goes the same way! 20 weeks with my first boy and all was perfect in the anatomy scan! So excited, but if only tgis could slow down a hair cus this time it has been FLYING by WAY too fast and we still have SO much to get done on my house before this one arrives!
Congratulations I just had my little girl this past Monday I could belive how fast it flew by wouldn't trade her for the world maybe a little sleep though. She was born @ 37 +1
Aw, congrats!!!!
@@Nurse_zabe thank you I can tell you how much your videos help figuring this process and have been great resource to share with daddy
Loving following your pregnancy journey! If you’re still looking for name suggestions here are a few for inspiration! For a girl: Linnea, Winslow, Freya, or for a boy Arlo, Burke, Chester, plus Harper is lovely and gender neutral. Hope they fit your vibe of quite unique names and that all sound nice together
Congratulations
Almost 41 weeks 😭😭 I am exhausted 💤
Im currently 35 weeks and it’s the hardest last weeks 😰 A margarita does sound really nice!!☺️
Hey!!! I turned 28 weeks yesterday on Wednesday so I’m officially in my third trimester. Yay!!!! I only have a few items left to get on my registry. We know we’re having a boy, his name will be Jordan Xavier. I cannot wait for his custom swaddle and his wooden name signs to come in from Etsy. I took my glucose tolerance test too. I personally don’t think it’s that bad lol. I passed with a 109. I’ve never had gestational diabetes, and it made me so happy cause one of the doctors in the practice kept saying I’d have it cause I’m overweight already. In their face lol. I didn’t fast for mine. I did also find out I’m anemic! Yay lol. Explains why I’ve been craving ice all this pregnancy, at least it’s not dirt haha. Gotta have a sense of humor. My due date is June 9th and I can’t wait, almost there, just 12 weeks to go, I got this, you got this! Oh and I can’t wait to have a Corona or a Mike’s hard Lemonade after this baby comes.
OMG we are due on the same day! I am being induced on he 31st to hopefully have baby here on June 1st. Cheers dear friend margaritaville after!! :)
Thanks so much for sharing your experience and knowledge with us! As far as baby names go, what about Waverley (there are SO many different ways to spell it) for a girl, or Wilson for a boy?
I’m due June 5th! For names we were thinking about Eliza (but ended up going with Elizabeth), or for a boy Samuel.
Yay 😊 third trimester is exciting! I’m almost 22 weeks. 💙 found out I’m having another boy 😳 this will be my third boy 🥰
Boys are so fun!! And crazy 🤣
@@Nurse_zabe yes they are 😊
I wanted to wait to find out the gender but I just couldn’t 😆 That’s so cool that you are waiting to find out
As someone who failed the 1 hr GTT with two pregnancies and had to take the 3 hr, I completely agree with you on the margarita flavored Glucola drink!!!
I’m 36 weeks and I want a margarita too! I have gestational diabetes and I am over pricking my finger 4 times a day. Thanks for the update.
Yay I'm 25 weeks tomorrow and following your pregnancy has been so helpful. I feel like a whale already lol
I have done the glucose challenge!!! I don't have any clue how I made it. I felt like a mope. I rest the freaking whole afternoon. The first test came positive and this other one was normal. I will have to repeat this test in April.
I'm 30 weeks today (was told I would never have kids at age 18-but here we are almost 40 and pregnant). I refused my glucose because I hate throwing up and couldn't even bring myself to fathom that stuff. Plus I am allergic to everything so that's even more anxiety inducing. So instead I am doing finger sticks etc. and my doc is cool with that. I have to go to the chiropractor tomorrow because my SI Joint is out (its a preexisting condition I had prior) and had to get injections for meralgia parastetica on Friday. Again, something I had prior. I'm going to have to check out these other things you mention. I am anterior also and it's nice to hear you talk about this. And OMG we have the same due date, May 31. Maybe I really need to pay attention to your videos because you have done this and a hospital bag is the last thing on my mind lol.
You’re extreme need for a margarita matches my extreme need for a glass of wine 😅 we can do this
You are hilarious. I love watching your videos.
Congrats on the 3rd trimester!!! I had my first frozen IVF transfer yesterday (St Patricks Day!) and I will know if im pregnant on the 27th
🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 and a little st. Paddy’s day gold! ✨
Oh wow! Sending some Irish luck your way! 😘☘🍀 "For each petal on the shamrock, it brings a wish your way, good health, good luck and happiness for today and everyday!" 💚
You’re awesome and relatable! For baby name ideas...
Boy names: Wells, Graham, and Ford
Girl names: Lane, Hilde, and Nora
Picking names is fun and stressful!
33 weeks here! I am a bariatric patient so thank god I did not have to drink the sugar drink instead we did blood draws. Next week is my scan to see where baby is positioned considering this baby is an acrobat in there. I have been sitting on a yoga ball instead of my office chair and been doing my pelvis tilts. Everything to allow baby to slide in that pelvis! 🤣
Yaaaaay! I’m in my 3rd trimester too! I’m 36 weeks and 4 days! Baby measured in at 7 lbs 14 oz! Size of a 38 week baby 😅
27 wks & 4 days craving a good hard cider! Glucose test tomorrow morning
I am in NSW Australia and we all do the long GTT.
You go in fasted, have a blood test. Drink the drink and ours are not flavored at all. Just straight sugar water basically. Wait an hour and then they take blood again, wait another hour and they take more blood and sometimes urine. Then you get to leave. Certainly makes you feel queezy and just off for the rest of the day.
I also got the joy of doing it first and third trimester due to a family history of diabetes 😒
But very thankfully I passed them both 😁
I too have struggled with thinking I got places I can’t 🤣 30 weeks and counting!
I am 37+1 today I have gestational diabetes so checking blood sugar 4 times a day. Can't wait to meet my little one now. So tired and braxton hicks are sometimes painful
Going through all of your videos as Im just about to enter my 3rd trimester. I dreamt about margaritas last night and then felt so guilty 😅 I don't usually drink much when not pregnant but yes, MAR-GA-RI-TA, please.
I just has my glucose test the other week. It was the one hour one, and my midwife said I didn't need to fast, but then the lady on the phone said I did. So to avoid issues I did despite not eating that early in the morning making me feel sick. I ended up vomiting after the blood and then the tech told me I definitely did NOT need to fast. Ugh. Glad I did take the whole day off work cause it was awful. My glucose was totally fine!
Also for names we named our daughter Grace...our soon to be son is Owen 🥰 I really can't wait to meet him
I am due June 9th and I love that I have been able to go through this journey with you. His name is Levi Kieth and if we had had a girl we were leaning toward Lilian Beth
I was literally packing my hospital bag as soon as my water broke and ALL I packed was a toothbrush and under clothes and an outfit for me and baby I was in a rush.
29 weeks and 4 days here! I've never had alcohol but I may need a drink when it's all said and done lol
Also our son's name is Ambrose Edward, he's named after my grandfather and baby dad's grandfather. Both of whom were strong men, and important in both of our lives. 😊
I love those and I love family names!!
The facility I went to had a lemon lime flavored drink for the glucose test and was by far the best one with the least aftertaste so a margarita flavored one would probably be great.
Maybe just a salt rim with the lemon lime flavored one. I’m open to compromise. But I can’t compromise on drinking it on the beach 😂
I had the lime one too lol I thought it was gross
@@Mamabear485 yeah everyone's taste is different. I know people who prefer the fruit punch that that one left a bad aftertaste in my mouth.
could you do a video explaining (or point me in the direction of) those three exercises you mentioned? 3 sisters? i have never heard of this and now i feel super unprepared hahah, i’m one week behind you at 28 weeks!
Yes, I would love to get this information as well. Thanks!
Following!
Yes please!
The Three Sisters of Balance are three exercises within the Spinning Babies approach to birthing. I don’t believe she has done a video solely on Spinning Babies but has mentioned it in a few other videos! Hope that helps!
Check out the three sisters of balance from spinning babies. You should be able to find them easily on the website, but I’ll add a link to the description
As far as names go, how about Judah Elias! Congrats on the third trimester milestone mark!
