I just ordered one for myself! I've loved watching your videos for a long time and can't wait to see how it works. I'm normally a Vortex guy, but I love supporting real hunters who care about their products. Greetings from Canada and keep up the great work.
Świetna robota Matt. Niedawno kupilem lunetę Helix i jestem z niej bardzo zadowolony. Świetny obraz, wieże, zero stop. Wszystko na swoim miejscu 😊. Fajnie, ze dzielisz sie z nami swoją pasja i doświadczeniami. Pozdrowienia z PL !
It should be mentioned that the FFP Helix's reticle is very difficult to see between 6-12 x magnification. So much so that I returned my FFP Helix and exchanged it for the SFP version. The center dot should be SFP and thickened. The general overall crosshair should be thickened as well. Be warned that the reticle thickness is simply too small between 6-12 magnification. I typically shoot between 40 and 50 yrds.
On Cyclops reviews, the Titan had a bit of POI shift with change in focus. Is this present in the Helix FFP? and if so how much of a concern is it especially for shooting at longer distances?
It’s nice to have someone like Matt behind some of the design bc I’ll sacrifice some stuff but having reliable tracking under 500$ isn’t always easy to obtain with great target turrets
Hi Matt. Congrats on the new venture. I am considering the Helix FFP. Can you give me your honest comparison of it with the ARGOS BTR GEN2 6-24×50 APMR FFP IR MIL. How do the two compare. I am based in Durban and would obviously like to support local but some guys have advised me that the Athlon is a better way to go....I do mainly hunting and now and then a bit of target shooting. Probably wont shoot further than 500m much...
Interesting presentation. So far I have only used scopes from Kahles. My favorite is the K318i which is quite expensive, right now around 33,300 SEK or 3300 US dollars. Element scope's model Titan can be a sensible option on a rifle. I'm pretty sure that there is a lot of difference in optical quality between a China-made scope and one from Austria
Have an SFP & FFP, love them both. Any intentions of making a sidewheel for the Helix as the side focus is so accurate it seems a shame not to make a wheel with some more distance markers on? 🙏
the Helix I’ve been waiting for the ffp model. I have the Element Nexus. And it’s best scope I’ve ever owned. And I’ve owned Nightforce nxs. So I know quality when I look through a scope. On my next build it’s not my competition rifle just a target rifle. Helix looks perfect for my needs. Matt Duber you should be proud of the team on bringing quality scopes to the firearm sports. Great job. My Nexus is my baby. Lol. Thx ELEMENT OPTICS. Bryan W.
I was looking for a .22 elr scope and decided to place my bet on you guys. Gonna follow up in a few months with results bu i have a good feeling about this.
Got my scope 2 days ago, WOW! The feel and quality of this scope is amazing! Your words and videos don't do it justice, it is incredibly smooth and precise. Can't wait to get some time at the range.

Sir, after watching your videos, I ordered an Element Helix scope 6-24x50 FFP and accordingly, received the same with Made in China product bearing model number H26898. Is it a genuine product or a malicious copy? Please let me know.
Would this be suitable for a low power air rifle (less than 24J), or is it only rated for firearms and PCP air rifles? Edit: Element Optics just answered me, it is indeed able to handle the forward recoil of spring air guns.
Love the scope guys, its been easy to use on a 222! Side question though, do you have the measurements for the reticle? As in how many mils wide the centre dot is, how wide the sub tension hash marks are etc? Just trying to get them to use as references. Any help would be great!
Looking good can't wait to get my hands on a few 😉 leupold lost my respect wen there decided to not warranty there electronics for life so I went vortex for my rangefinder and soon I'll be enjoying the fruits of the element family. 🥃cheers🍻
Left Leupold after seeing it starts rattling after placing it on the spring air gun. Not a cheap rifle scope by any means. An experiment and bet that went wrong somehow...
Bought it. And sold it within a week. Overhyped overmarketed. Optic is only good at low magnification. High is not useable at all, makes dizzy. The parralax focus is way off. 1% inaccuracy as advertized is not true. I sold it in indonesia fx group. And turn out few others that bought it due to the “hype” are dissapointed. Buy hawke, is Much better value than element.
Hey Matt.... I just bought a Maverick and I’m planning on a Helix or Titan, do you know if Strelok Pro has your Element scopes yet? I haven’t bought the app yet, just wanted to double check with you guys first. Love what you’re doing with taking air gunning to the next level!
I would like to see a capped windage turret (or locking) for a hunting range. I've had issues with windage turrets moving while hiking miles with my gun slung on my shoulder.
These turrets wont move easily. Mine takes a bit of effort to dial. Once you have set them to zero, it is quick to see if they moved. Secondly there is the zero stop that makes it so much easier to return to "base"
I’m new to shooting, was into it years ago but lost interest. Never could get used to SFP with zooming in and this scope is awesome, well worth the extra over a SFP
that's the scoop brand I like form shooters to shooters September will be the time I'm getting the helix for my PCP airgun second focal plane dail in to target 🎯
Hi..!! Matt I am a subscriber of ur channel from India. Want to buy a element scope for my. 22 LR rifle.. 🤔 🤔 Can u suggest me one. And by the way can I import one in India.. 🤔 🤔
Hi, I have this in the sfp. Mounted it to my ultimate sporter, when I’m trying to zero it. I’m using that up and down turret but the crosshairs won’t move. I’ve shot over 100 pellets trying to zero my gun in and it’s not working
Hi Ryan, please email us and we’ll be happy to work through this! This is a common problem with airguns, we find that the barrel is often not well aligned with the scope and this forces the erector tube to the edge of its travel. It may be that you need an adjustable mount.
@@ElementOptics I finally sorted it in the end, just kept on adjusting it till it eventually zeroed. I’m not used to a scope that doesn’t have the crosshairs move when you adjust the turrets lol. Thank you though, I appreciate it :)
@@christhomas4260 ???? Ummm no. More times than not I have to make a calculated guess what the range is to the bird or squirrel or whatever game animal. I don’t always have time to dial and sure as hell not enough time to be pulling out my range finder or Kestrel wind meter. Thus the awesome use of the dirty reticle for holdover and windage.
Hi Matt, I am very disappointed with Element optics, had to send my Helix back 3 times. It is on its way back again and asked the retailer for refund. It's a shame as the scope has some nice features. Sadly the parallax adjustment is not good and the knob is so rugged it tears your fingers trying to use it. Perhaps if they bring out a gen 2 I might consider trying in the future
@@bryanwilliams3524 it’s not what a large portion of the market want though . I’m past all the toy soldiers reticles especially with all the technical equipment we have for range wind etc , then we dial turrets I don’t need complex reticles .

It's a fantastic scope, love the ffp, the klicks and the Glas, and zero stop this is an amazing scope!

Well in Mr Dubber these scopes look cracking
I adjusted the zoom level 24 and then adjusted the focus, but it's disappointing that the photo looks very blurry. Only looks good at zoom 10

Hello, is the element camera much clearer than the Hawk 6.5 * 20 * 42 camera? Which is better to use for hunting

I just purchased a Zero Tech scope today Mat . Im actually disappointed that i disnt knownu have ur own product line .

The Titan has a 34mm tube while the Helix has a 30mm tube. The Titan also has bigger turrets with more clicks per turn.

Great information video as always but why the low-level background music? Kind of gets annoying if it's not your type of music.
Just don't understand who would really need so many hold over points way to busy . Windage yes but elevation I just don't get it .
Sometimes you don't have time to dial and you hold over.
@Chris Thomas. You are obviously a "general area" shooter. And that's ok. Then again, some of us shoot precise. Therefore more holdover points.
