Can you imagine being a hard working youtuber complaining about how turrets don’t match the reticle and then in a matter of just a few years being one of the biggest influences on optics in the game. Well done Matt, long time fan of your work and what you continue to do.

An excellent presentation from Matt. Very clear and precise information. The HDLR MOA SFP sounds the way to go for my needs.

    Great video.
I live in the UK and have bought the newer Pard NV007SP LRF. I attached it to a Hawke Sidewinder 6-24X56 and found it produced the same issues with FOV that you have identified.
The other issue I found with the Sidewinder is the top turret interferes with the Pard’s built in LRF system beyond 30 yards.
The lower top turret on the Element 2-16X15 looks like it will address both issues.
The night vision image quality also looks excellent considering the NV007 is an add on unit.
Needless to say, I’ve pulled the trigger and have ordered the Element scope.
Thank you so much for your hard work in producing this video.

Looks like a great product. My only suggestion is to trim some weight. 44mm or 42mm objective with 1" tube and get the weight to 16 oz, and then you will have a true Western Mountain hunting scope. Even if you have to reduce the magnification range 2.5 - 12 x 42mm. Helix HD Ultralight

I would absolutely love that raptor reticle if the drop points were illuminated as well. I probably get the ld due to turret and more illuminated reticle.

Excellent! Please make a Helix 3-18 FFP and/or 4-20 (with 10yds to infinity parallax adjustment.)

The 3-18 Titan has that covered quite well - Similar optical quality to the Helix HD/HDLR. The 4-16 Helix is also quite similar, but with a lower pricetag.

@@ElementOptics I was considering Titan 3-18x for my mid range stalking setup, but I went with the GPO Spectra 2--12x50 instead because of the weight. Helix 4-16x44 was not an option for me because I wanted 50mm lens and x4 basic magnification was too much for me. If the Helix HD was available I would have picked one for sure because I like the Element glass very much. Next year maybe. Keep ut the good work.

I'm a small game pest hunter in America & would love a scope like the Hammers 4-12x 40ao that I'm currently using!
If you made a Helix HD with mil-dot reticle calibrated @ 12x zoom & NO illumination, I'd buy 2 of them!
Like I said, I'm currently using the Hammers 4-12x 40ao scopes on both my hunting rifles & I have the hold-overs on a piece of tape stuck to the side of the gun for easy reference. The Hammers scopes hold zero well & the mil-dot reticle gives me hold points out to 95 yards, which is all I need.
I would buy a Helix HD, but I don't think the reticle would work for me & I never use illumination.
I have a Helix 6-24 sfp on my Dreamline & I love it! ...& I had the original Titan scope on a different rifle & loved that scope too! Keep up the great work! 👍

Does the 2-16x Helix use better quality glass compared to the other Helix scopes?

What is the eye relief for something like that with a 8x variance? Had a Sig 1-10 that had HORRIBLE eye relief at 10x.

Intermediate zoom points for mil NEVER WORKS, IT MUST BE AT THE TOP MAG HARD STOP, this is just the same old bad solution for a pervasive SFP idiosyncrasy.
