I'm not even into baseball that much and only watch playoff games, and I gotta say. That home run and bat spike is gonna live in my head for a long time. What an iconic moment.

The redemption story behind the bat spike makes it even more enthralling. Rhys is the longest tenured Phillies position player at 1B. Much maligned for his defense. His bat is in position to help win Philadelphia its 3rd World Series title.
Gonna miss him. This team was built around him.

As much as I would like to see Dusty Baker win a World Series; this Phillies team has something special that cant be explained. They are a humble, tight knit groups, and the fans are delighted, and so am I

Rhys Hoskins is my favorite player, though maybe not the best for most consistent, just Hoskins as a person and as a home run hitter is just an amazing player in the clutch moments!
As a braves fan the pain has subsided so with that being said that bat spike was so awesome.

That NLCS Game 4 dinger in the 1st was key. The crowd was a little uneasy after the falter by Falter, but the knock there got us all back to normal aka out of our minds.
His playoffs have been filled with ups and downs but man have his ups been fantastic.

I am a crazy Phillies fan walking to Connie mack stadium with my dad back in the 60s. I hope they bring him back next year. Rys is the Phillies he has been here in the really bad times don't let him go cause he is not in the plans for the future. Rys is the Phillies forever.
