The fellas are from Sheffield, England. Turner definitely begins to take on a Transatlantic accent in his vocal delivery as the albums progress, and drops the Northern accent. The phrase "Suck it, and see," isn't as salacious as it may sound. It actually essentially means, "Give it a try and see what happens." I'm glad y'all are staying on this journey. I love me some Arctic Monkeys.

People used to say Alex sounded like 1930s ukulele star George Formby. React to "When I'm cleaning windows".
I was doing some gardening work for an elderly man and he used that term, "we'll just have to suck it an see". I almost burst out laughing. It's not so commonly used these days because it does sound dodgy 🤣
      A Yorkshire joke -
I bought some flavoured condoms and told my gf to close her eyes and guess which flavour I put on.
She obliged and said CHEESE AND ONION!
I said 'I haven't put one on yet'.
(we're more traditional in the UK you see. As in we're quite attached to our foreskins)

Each Monkey's album, apart from maybe the first two have avery distinct sound of their own. This is their love album a poetic master peace. I think 4 out of five is probably one of their longest songs and one of their best.

AM and Tranquility Base Hotel + Casino will be a TREAT. Can't wait for you to get a taste of those albums!

There’s a song on the same album called ‘Dont Sit Down Cus’ I’ve Moved Your Chair’ which is the polar opposite to this song but still just as listenable, other honourable mentions from Suck it and see would be, Library Pictures, Piledriver Waltz, and Reckless Serenade,
Not the most popular arctic monkeys album amongst the fans but the vintage pop sound really hits a sweet spot

Lol i love Alex. He's so witty, funny and a real romantic at heart ❤️ And the way he sometimes talks like he's a 70yr old in his songs. Gotta love him

Alex Turner is a great lyricist man, he uses a lot of metaphors, reminds me a lot of Leonard Cohen. When I'm not being honest I pretend that you were just some lovers" that hits right in the heart. Great review guys!

I got excited when I saw that you did "the only one I know", and thought you were doing the Arctic monkeys song - "the only ones who know" which is another artic monkeys song you should definitely check out

Real good video! Arctic Monkeys' have a great way of making each album unique. Would love you to listen to Fire and the Thud from their third album Humbug. Humbug was their first huge departure from their original style and it's really neat.

Alex is sexy as hell live!!! I think I've seen them 4 times. You appreciate all of them as musicians on a whole other level seeing them live. Each of them is great.

Guys. I'd like to see you review rocks by Primal Scream. Another great UK band.
Also, you got it bad, by Ocean color scene.
This has become my favourite channel. Keep up the good work.

I’ve never understood why this album is at the bottom of the list for so many fans. It walks into the top three for me and there’s periods where it comfortably sits at the top.

Yeah, it was my top album of them for a long time... It isn't anymore but not because I don't love it but because that tends to change depending of what I'm going through.
