I have this head strap with the added center pad and it’s great. It really addresses the issue of forehead pressure for longer session with Qpro. Totally worth the purchase!
I have almost pulled the trigger on the pro a few times but not having top strap support is a really bad idea. It blows my mind that Meta didn't include this. I know they wanted to make it so it didn't mess up business peoples hair up but at the same time if you need to use this for 8 hours a day it has to be as comfortable as possible. This looks like a really good idea, I haven't checked thinaverse or printables yet, I'm sure someone has made something 3D printable to add a strap.
Took me a minute to figure out as well.. but the two long parallel plastic bands on each side of the top pad actually snap into each other. You have to line them up and then press/slide firmly together with your index finger and thumb until the bands click together in place.
This is a mandatory item for my meta pro. It feels now easy to use without headaches - after one hour it was not so good to have it on my skin. Now it’s soooo different and nice. Great product !!! Seriously now I love this meta pro !🎉🎉🎉
It's crazy that meta didn't think about hof uncofortable is the meta quest already after half hour. Sometimes i have a pain on my forehead after half hour and sometimes i can go longer, for productivity the pixel quality is too low, i m thinking about returning it, it s not very usable, we need to wait for a lighter and more quality product. Another thing, i m very scared to lose my hair on the front part of my scalp, constant pressure. anyway, buy it only if you have money to throw away
