Our team of trackers is moving into an open field. While grass is a great medium for tracking, this leaves them exposed. They know the time is not on their side, but security remains the top priority. Boris forms his team into a Y-formation which was developed by the Rhodesian Tracker Unit (TCU) and used to great effect during the Bush Wars in the 1970s.

What a fantastic series - full of practical information, beautifully filmed and executed, and a compelling tracking story - I'd rather watch this than anything on Netflix
tactical gear left behind, weapons too...its easy UF PRO, I know what they're doing. They went to the local PUB :))
great video, as usual. Keep it up
....and Boris finds them drunks and singing Bruno Mar's songs.

that light and dark grass thing absolutely blew my mind, just... keep this coming... it's getting more and more immersive and interesting... where do you find these fantastic teachers anyway?... if i had three teachers like this back in my entire school time, my life would have been completely different...

What a fenomenal series. If they left the equipment, maybe they went to do recon. I wonder how the tracking method will work in a urban environment.
Was thinking the exact same thing. Probably some type of close target reconnaissance. Although I would've probably taken a duffel bag and carried the rifle with me
@@nikanor8152 right, or setting an ambush for they collect their belongings sounds like a good idea too.
@733Rafael sounds legit. Except for maybe you want to setup an anti matter claymore too, just I case they avoid the kill zone.
Nothing clears your tracks like a tactical nuke.
Nice work Boris. It's a good time for a short pause before committing. I have seen VT's make the mistake of pushing on without "tuning in," to their new environment first. The consequences can lead to a very bad day at the office. A pause allows the tracking team commander to make various tactical assessments in; terrain analysis, threat exposure and mitigation, update HQ with a SITREP, request for additional Spt. assets (Overwatch, Close-Air/ Indirect Fire Support), do a quick welfare check, make kit adjustments, disseminate new intelligence between the team, shake out into the inverted Y formation etc... Importantly, a pause allows trackers to tune in (pace track if necessary), and cement the key sign characteristics for that new environment faster. Without losing track momentum. Track on and happy hunting mate.
100%. Pace -to-pace is definitely the way to go when you go into a different substrate, even if the sign is very visible. It's so easy to overshoot if you don't give yourself time to remind yourself of the key sign for that environment. Learned that the hard way :) Great comment mate!
These episodes are the only reason why I'm excited for Monday's
Please make more, this is insanely good
It is sad that there is only 1 more episode left
omg this is so good to watch. maybe, you guys could bring a special episode on some famous real tracking mission. maybe someone that got saved because of this, or a special military mission.
Of all the training, literature or videos I’ve ever seen on the subject I’ve never been more impressed. Fantastic professional information laid out so well and digestible fantastic videos thank you guys and please keep them coming.
I would have stayed in the barn, the guys are most certainly coming back for their things. Just have to ambush them.
I just discovered this channel, and it is amazing ! keep up the good good work :)
Oohh hell! I thought that Boris was going to kick the door in this chapter!! This story is soo intense! At least we know now that the bad guys are not going to kill him with an HK416.

I'm always amazed about how professional are these instrucotrs. Also quality of Videos are one of the best in the whole world and I Love watching it!!
This series is absolutely stellar.
I have just encountered this channel. Who are you people? Your content is amazing!
Thank Sir Borris and the team, I have learned a lot of things tactical to apply when I'm tracking, thank you so much Sir.
Never saw your vids but I REALLY LIKED IT... REALLY! ITS SIMPLY GREAT!!!! Never saw anything like that! Congratulations!
Love how he gives you his thoughts as he speaks about what we're seeing! Definitely wouldn't want this guys on your trail because it wouldn't be long before you got the ol' , "SURPRISE"!! And it's not going to be the good kind of surprise! Lol
When i did my tracking course here in NZ i was always finding it hard going from pne environment to another especially open to close. Always had to go back to pace tracking until i was tuned into the new environment.
Hi Daiman. I have the same thing. It's so easy to overshoot into a new substrate and don't allow yourself to tune-in, especially when you're pushing. I try to stop myself briefly, even if the sign seems clear, and remind myself of the key-sign for the substrate I'm about to go in. Pace-to-pace is a great way of doing that. And it's nice when it clicks again, and the track opens up. It takes a lot of honesty to do it, especially with a team behind you wanting to press on and high stakes. Great comment mate!
At least you knew to revert to something that did work and not push past and “wing it”. Good on you!!!
I remember that course. Eliminating openings is a key under canopy. Depth of tread and the angle of foot placement to compensate for packs and equipment coupled with an increase in top sign. Distances travelled and rest stops to determine the fitness of the quarry, age of sign and most inportantly to look up and out when moving forward like a lead scout. This is a brilliant video and Boris knows his shit. Its the best video that i have seen on RUclips. Minganui, a place thats wet, cold and dark lol
Cool stuff, good info, i like it better when my dig tracks for me and gets a rewarding bite at the end😁
I always try to practice what uf pro for in store. so far the technique work.
saw two of them running from the drone.... Well I was looking for episode 5...can't wait
best series i've seen on youtube in a long time.
Imagine walking your dog and bumping into these lot. Cant wait to see how you track in an urban area. Great stuff.
An excellent educational tracking series! Thank you!
And we’re back.. low key these videos been makin’ my day!
Please make a series of close quarters combat next 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
They are scouting out the town first before coming back for there gear. Find out where is the target without atracting suspicion then dubbel back for the gear and then attack the target.
With the wires from the cave i might think they are making a bomb of somesort. Scouting out a place to put it. And they cant take tge gun with them. Its to big and draw suspicion
@@odendalstreicher6074 Finally some comment about explosive device and wires from cave. Most comments are about waiting them next to gear in ambush. I thought i am the only one thinking about wires and explosives. And probably quarry is going to sabotage something or kill someone with explosives.
hey, binging on epi 4 now, great content. thank you.
Amazing and professional as usual
Dam gotta love this episodes, good filming and tactical teams, learning at it best
my guess (or what I would do)......if possible, take a picture of how their gear is laid out. Search around the gear without touching it to make sure it isnt trapped in any way, then search it. while searching it, remove firing pins from guns, and sabotage any electronics, specially if they are attached to explosives. Copy any intel in the bags, then put everything back the way it was according to the pictures you took. Since you have a 4 man squad, set an ambush for when they return. Unless ordered to just let them go to see what they are up to, or to see if the have any accomplices already in the town. Just my opinion
This is way to complicated. Just laying an ambush before they can reach the gear is way easier and as effective.
Ambush and everything sounds good. But what if they are carring sone explosive they have made in cave and they finish their mission (probably sabotage something od kill someone) and you have failed to find them and save someone or something. I would probably leave gear there, maybe hide it better, took some civilian backpack with explosive and carry only pistol with me for self protection if someone comes after me. Destroy what i am supposed to and return back for gear and continue to extraction point. Just my thoughts 😁
Was waiting for the episode.. cant wait to learn more
Great video very informative!👍🏼
i hope they will track them down before they do something... its getting intense :)
I actually used this to find my friend in the woods I gave him a 2hour headstart it took 6hours total to find him this is on point
Can't wait to see more :)

I love this series
Want more! :D
UfPro is pro
Loving it keep them coming I’m a you tube solider now 🤣😎
Amazing!
I mean to me it makes perfect sense why they would leave their rifle behind. When you're going into an urban area you carry a concealed handgun otherwise people freak out. Even here in America, where guns are embedded in our culture, you cannot open carry. Sure in most States it's completely legal to open carry, but legal doesn't mean that everyone knows it's legal. People freak out and call 911 and even though the police can't do anything about it they're still required to at least come out and talk to you and explain "Hey you know it freaks people out even though you're completely within your rights to do so.". For a civilian this is a minor inconvenience every now and then, for someone conducting an operation of some kind this could break their entire mission, regardless of if it's good or bad, their cover could be blown. So the best thing to do is ditch the rifle before entering the urban area unless you have an extremely good reason to keep it with you like the fact that you might be entering a hostile environment where rebels have taken over the city. Same with the tactical gear wearing a military uniform in an urban area makes you stick out like a gunshot among fireworks to a country boy, sure if you're active military and you're off duty you can get away with this, but a group of 2 or 3 people walking that way together armed is a bit of an indicator.
these guys shld make a combat movie period, top of the food chain guys.
If you took a picture of the sand table you found in the cave in the previous episode, you can use terrain association to compare it to the layout of the town and see if it's the objective.
Boris vos got special talent to narrate the video
Next episode please.. getting intense 😁
I know these people like him can’t be everywhere. But they are that one match in a dark room.

Your videos are absolutely awesome. Would you mind to share what hud displays you are using or where to get them? They are really great
All custom made for the series :)
Te only useful information i watched today on You Tube
What's the soundtrack starts playing at the backround around 2:20 ? damn, this is so good and atmospheric!
i think the individuals were returning home. they live in that town and that is why they left their equipment. think about it, they are not planing on attacking the town, the town is their base and they returned from a diffrent spot that is the target and were doing reconnaissance on it.
YES, that is what I was thinking, either that or there is a chance they were trying to get intel from locals and had to stash their gear. I don't know any of the back story, i just started watching with this video
@@CoreyAReeves we were close :D
Wow this channel is cool.

I love tracking! I learned it from my Grandfather!
From previous episode i was thinking that quarry is going to blow up something because of wires found in cave. But now i am 100% sure that they are going to do that in that village. Or maybe some diversion for kidnaping someone. That's what i am thinking and that would be my scenarios for series like this. But it would be more interesting if they have carried their weapons and to be some shootout between two teams 😁
Episodes end with a bang on your door!
In which area/ country was that filmed? Looks beautiful.
Just more Boris.
If you have two in front for security, in the 'Y' formation, and the tracker is behind them, how do they know where to walk without compromising the trail? Like what if the trail suddenly turns right, and the guy on the front right side tramples over the trail before the tracker gets there?
I saw dropped rifles. The quarry may still have handguns. Plus, I didn't see dropped military style boots. So their footwear might still give them away.
As to the arriving local LE and the civilians to be dealt with in urban environments: I'm curious about the RoE governing the next episode.
I haven't taught about boots nice observation . But i am still thinking about that part of wire in cave. I think that they have made some explosive in there and are going to sabotage or kill someone with it. I don't see for what they could use wires if not some explosive device.
Plot twist: They're just 12 year old airsofters
May i pose a question? what if your tracking a single person in a whole squad?, in the series they are following a single team that never split, what if the trail split? who to follow and what to do?
2:45 Tusca 01: Two individuals running (top left hand corner)
nevermind, just horses
How does the position thing works? The eight numbers stand for??
Quick question do you relocate weapons?
Where was this filmed do you guys think?
Uf Pro plz call activision staff make the movie call of dutty for Netflix. You are amazing.
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
2:44 two moving objects up left side of the screen
Who would leave uf pro clothing behind??
Basically what we have here is a couple of squaddies bunking off manoeuvers to sink a few pints in a nearby village. What happens next is a couple of red caps wait for them to return pissed and make their lives a misery. Case closed.
oof, this is like a movie, but better
how do I watch the rest?
They are going in as non hostiles to blend in.. That's probably why they left their weapons behind,to stash.
I'd ambush the stash.
I notice that you appear to normally wear only 3 spare magazines.
All the training I have received primarily suggests a minimum of 6 on person and one in rifle.
Veterans that are seeking engagement recommend 8 on person and up to full reload if you can carry it. The round count from a Vietnam Vet was 420 or 15, 30 round mags, 28 rounds each.
Curious to hear about why you setup your plate carrier the way you do and the philosophy.
I am from Serbia. In our military we have one mag in rifle and 4 spare mags. As i have seen some special forces have 3 in combat west and 1 in rifle. For pistol we carry 1 in it and at least 1 spare mag. I guess these guys have similar organizations.
Soundtrack name please
Approaching a populated, leaving gear and weapons behind, possibly dressing as civilians. The quarries may be locals to the area and used an alternative route to exit the suburban area into a wooded side road, helps to form an alibi, if you ask around, the neighbors will probably tell you that they haven't been seen going out of the community.
this is probably a very unlikely and very stupid theory, bu that's what I gathered
Was that video shot on Planinsko polje/Cerknisko jezero?
No, this was filmed near Grosuplje.
The two at the front. I dont understand. Are they front security. Do they have to track look out or if you are lead tracker do they have to look back at you to see where does the track go because youre the lead. And if you need to hold position how do you let them know. You cant scream. Do you move until the next forest and wat happen if you lose the track and how do they know where to go if they have to stay with you in y position. Like if they go left but you see the track go right. Do they look back and front???
The "flankers" as they are called are primarily covering the front. They are also trackers so if they see the track veering off they indicate to the tracker and the team quickly adjusts. That flanker then becomes the tracker, the tracker becomes a flanker and we press on. Every few steps they make eye contact with the tracker to exchange hand signals if needed or adjust their position.
@@borisvos1971 still comfusing but i understand better. Thanks and thank you for the amazing video. Every time i walk on the farm i use your tracking invo just to see if something or someone was moving over the farm. Hope to see u again in a future video.
