Wish I had this when I was in Afghanistan. Gunners in vehicles had to wear the tangled mess of a harness. This would have made it a lot easier.

Just got my new plate carrier in. Need to integrate the harness into the plate carrier. Im going to get a beez cummerbund to go with it. I am running a raptor tactical MKV belt. I have the petzl gear and am getting some CTOMS gear in soon. I typically run a Haley Strategic chest rig/placard. I am wanting to get the heavy rig in multicam, though I am concerned it will be a bit much to have in the way. I am considering getting an HRT placard or the Haley Strategic light chest rig as well. I like having the ability to swap kits out quickly if needed. Thank you for your videos. They are very good!

Wow, that's a gr8 climbing harness 2 intergrate in2 yur combat plate carrier gear. Combing that cobra buckle in2 the harness system insure safety while climbing. Thx 4 sharing on Utube.

Ich hatte dieses Konzept immer im Kopf, aber dachte, es wäre unmöglich, da der Brustgurt womöglich die Platten beschädigen würde.

Since you have both setups MSG belt and e220, Have you ever tried E220 leg loops and MGS belt combo. E220 loop is much easier to carry around.

Nice for swat operators and such i would personally never use so much gear that needs to be connected at one complete unit. Keep your plate carrier for plated your belt for belt stuff. And rappel gear should be completely independent from both plate carrier and the belt.

Nette Alternative zu einem Hochtourengurt, wobei man bei Bergrettung o.Ä. IFAK direkt am Gurt hat :)

100%ig richtig das du den ganzen ASVZ Schrott damals weggeworfen hast ... Das ganze hat so wesentlich mehr Bedeutung und Tiefgang. Wenn das ASVZ mal "etwas Gutes" erzeugt hat dann MD-T und Ripperkon. Nicht das deine frühen Nadelstiche zum LHT-Sufff ebenso wegweisend gewesen wären. BBchen. Schönes Ding! ;)

Quick question, does Germany have any tactical clothing manufacturer that will ship to the US or tactical clothing in Germany is dedicated for LEO/MIL only
Every piece of tactical clothing and/or uniform-parts used by the german forces are made by civilian manufacturers and are available for civilians. You can either buy brandnew ones, used army surplus or custom clothing which are using the same materials with better cut and features. When i was in the Airborne (Till 2011, its looong ago) the Bundeswehr just started to use bodyarmour for everyone. We were the first and only ones to use SK4 plates (similar to SAPI-Plates). The standart Uniform has a zipper and buttons at the front, so we all bought a version from Leo Köhler (one of the surplus manufacturers) with Velcro at the front and big arm pockets. It was Like an ACU-shirt without the mandarin collar. Ripperkon is using Specialized Gear and clothing developed by himself (Combat Shirt, the "tactical Bolero", one of the first German combat shirts. Of course Leo Köhler did the First one, but i think Ripperkon was second or at least third) or other "little" companies (md-textil, i think he's a former or active military guy. He was one of the first guys designing, manufacturing and selling custom webbing gear in germany. When i first heard of him he just started sewing custom Cobra Belts and Specialized 2-point slings)

@@Chris09978 depends on what you are searching for. I would start to look for Leo Köhler and Tasmanian Tiger for the bigger and widely used companys in tactical clothing and gear. These are the main brands which are used by german military which aren't Army surplus. Zentauron makes amazing stuff, they are more expensive but the KSK got some of their plate cariers through Bundeswehr surplus. We used old british Plate Carriers without webbing or molle and bought Tasmanian Tiger chestrigs which were designed for the really bulky G36-Mags. I later got a TT Plate Carrier and a Mayflower PC. The Mayflower was better, but i would prefer the TT MK2 or the new MK3 Plate Carrier over my old Mayflower. TT is like the Ikea of german tactical gear. Very reliable and not expensive, but if you're searching for specialized stuff like the PC with integrated webbing in this vid you have the search somewhere else. If you're searching for something special you can come back again and ask me everytime you want.

Würdest du damit auch normal klettern gehen? Ich bin gerade etwas irritiert das dass mit den Cobras so zugelassen ist. Ich interessiere mich auch sehr für das abseilen. Kannst du bitte ein Video dazu mit der Ausrüstung machen? Danke.
Der Hüftgurt einzeln ist als Klettergurt zugelassen. Die Cobras sind übrigens die Schnellverschlüsse, welche weltweit am meisten in industrielle Klettergurte eingebaut sind.

Hallo, ich wurde gerne Wissen den Modell vom deine Cestt rig , wie ich sehe hat eine Anchorage fuers den karabiner ... habe zwar eine cest rig vom Warrior Assaul allerdings hone Moeglicheit den karabiner anzubringen und Damit zu benutzen als Cest Harness..... Danke im Voraus

Naja, das ist die "normale" Größe. Bin schon an neuen Platten dran, jedoch wird da auch nicht deutlich mehr Abdomen verdeckt.

Ja, das auch. Aber allgemein sind Platten nicht Größer. Ich habe zudem ja noch das Glück im Moment nicht irgendwo unter akuter Gefährdung Dinge zu tun. Aber da kann man wahlweise die Platte noch durch eine größere SK1 Einlage ergänzen.

Die Cobraverschlüsse sind doch schon immens schnell zu öffnen? Ich denke nicht, dass das dann noch nach EN als Komplettgurtzeug zulassungsfähig ist, wenn irgendwo bewusst eine "Schwachstelle" eingebaut wird.

The rappelling device should not depend on you holding the rope all the time. You may need both hands. If they hit you and you lose the grip it's bye bye. You cant reload. Unless you can quckly jam it like the figure eight. Even then it's not safe
With the prusik it is also possible to go hands free. But in tactical use this can be annoying if you get injured, then hang there and block the rope. Then you have to get lowered from above (helpful when pre-rigged on top) or comrades have to rescue you in an komplex way.
So it’s often more handy, when there is someone below who is holding the rope. So when you are injured or dead, he can simply lower you.
Or what’s your opinion on that?
@@ripperkon From a tactical perspective I dont see a situation that would allowed a second person on the ground pulling the rope in case you are hit to slow down/stop the fall. For a surprise attack the rope should be in a bag on the leg so that the enemy cant see it beforehand anyway. If you can use prusik - autoblock knot with one hand and trust it then maybe it's ok but you better drill it to perfection. I've never seen it in action nor would I trust it on a wet rope or that it doesnt jam when I need to decend very fast into a window or something.
IMO there are better choices, descenders that you must press like Grigri or belays. I use Petzl stop in work but it's too big and it can be pretty slow with the weight of 40 meters of rope bellow it. Sometimes it also doesnt fully stop, especially on a wet rope.
We actually used carabiners in the military but you know, that's because it's cheap and you are an expendable item there. You win or die, screw you 🙂 I'm pretty sure police forces use a better and safer gear.
If you are hit there's no bonus in falling and getting hurt even more. You could be rescued later. It's no big deal. All you need is a second rope and a dude who will tie himself to you with a lanyard just in case and then press it for you. I know what you mean - the rescue with getting dude off of his rope on you is complicated.
So yeah, two hands for a reload, at least a figure eight that I can quickly jam-stop or maybe a double rope with both ends up but this would require a second person and a good techique, he'd need to be anchored, be able to see you and release the rope fast but safe, through some other device etc.
I use to think about the worst case scenario when I'd drop and lose the rope and fall without finding it. It makes sense to push it through another carabiner on a thigh or somewhere to always find it. I wanted to go rappel with friends many times but It's so dangerous. I cant trust their hand and reflexes. They could slip and let the rope go

Ist es nicht wichtig dabei zu erwähnen, dass das Gerät der DIN EN 341 Klasse D entspricht und bedeutet das es nur für das einmalige abseilen geeignet ist? habe mich im Internet schlau gemacht und würde mir das Gerät auch gerne kaufen, wäre da nicht nur dieser eine Haken...
Wenn ich falsch liege korrigier mich bitte! Ich möchte es nämlich nicht wahr haben :D
Ich kann mir auch nämlich nicht vorstellen das die ganze Gerätschaft dann in die Tonne kann...

Ich war wohl nicht ganz aufmerksam. Habe gedacht du benutzt den PETZL EXO, da es bei md-textil als Abseilgerät auftaucht und ich 1 und 1 kombiniert habe....
Dennoch bleibt mir die frage, ob ich den EXO nach einmaligen gebraucht wegwerfen kann? Hoffe du kannst mir da weiter helfen, denn du kennst dich wohl besser aus.

Achsooo. Ja, da hast du wohl falsch kombiniert.
Wie genau sich das "Klasse D = Nur für einen einzigen Abseilvorgang.
Die Abseilarbeit berechnet sich aus Abseilhöhe x Abseillast." in einfache Sprache übersetzen lässt, kann ich dir leider nicht sagen. Ich bezweifle, dass man es danach entsorgen muss. Ich vermute, dass man es dann einer Prüfung unterziehen muss, bevor man es wieder benutzt. Auf der Herstellerseite gibt es dazu den PSA Prüfbogen. Und mit anderen Verbindungselementen entspricht das EXO auch noch der 'NFPA 1983 Escape Use'. Wobei ich dir die leider auch nicht kurz zusammenfassen kann.
Es handelt sich immerhin auch um ein Notfallabseilsystem und nichts für den täglichen Gebrauch. Daher ist Petzl da vermutlich auf Nummer sicher gegangen. Wobei ich zugeben muss, dass ich da bei den Normen und Zertifizierungen nicht ganz durchblicke. Aber ich schaue mal, vielleicht kann ich da etwas in Erfahrung bringen. Das System reizt mich auch schon länger.
@@ripperkon ja ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass man das System dann Prüfen lassen muss, aber ich habe leider bisher auch nichts weiteres im Internet gefunden. Leider wüsste ich auch nicht wie man das in Erfahrung bringt. Hatte gehofft du hast da noch andere Quellen.
Das System ist schon echt gut gemacht und es wäre toll, wenn sie das auch für andere Klassen Zertifizieren lassen könnten.

Der Gürtel is ja preislich noch halbwegs im Rahmen zumal er ja die hauptsächliche Sicherungsarbeit übernimmt, aber 175 Eier für die Beinschlaufen? Die haben doch Lack gesoffen. Schade, bin auf der Suche nach (auch preislich) vernünftigen Beinschlaufen für Rigginbelts.... Nice Vid btw...
Ist ne kleine Firma, die in Deutschland mit fairen Löhnen produziert. Dazu kommen die Kosten für die Zertifizierung. Ich mein die wollen ja auch was verdienen und kein Wohlfahrtsverein sein.
@@Skullpainting Öhm, sind Beinschlaufen.... eine bessere Rundschlinge halt. Die Hauptlast trägt der Hüftgurt. Der Preis ist völlig überzogen, da gibts keine Ausreden. Die nähen das ja nicht per Hand
I hope there are no ceramic plate in your carry that you threw on the ground now they need to be X rayed for certification if you want to rely on that kit that is but you do you those may be lvl 3 a plates I'm not sure not familiar with German made kit I do l know that its not good to throw lvl 4 ceramic plates around if you want them to last even with the foam padding for extra protection just trying to inform the peoples

I ask in English because its an English video ;) - would you recommend the legloops combined with a belt for standard climbing on a „klettersteig“? 😄 or would you get a dedicated climbingset for that from eg. Arctery‘x/petzl… its all about larping, you know;) 😄 it just has to be tacticool
