Thank you for not leaving us alone, and keep doing videos for your fans.
I would LOVE if you make your own version of the Brazillian dish called "Feijoada" that came with the slaves from Africa.
Sorry about my bad English, I'm still learning and i wish you can understand it.
Thank you Jamie, peace.
So happy you're opening a restaurant in brasil!!!!!!! Yay

Amazing! I love how fancy this looks yet at the same time how easy it is to make right at home.
It is my favorite Cocktail of the summer for sure!
Amo todas tus recetas y a ti jajajajaj... Te sigo de hace muchos años.Saludos desde Rancagua de Chile!!!!
amazing refreshing cocktail, amazing way of presentation just loved the explaination
That was clearly an adaptation of the traditional Caipiroska. Looks great though. Just hope in Brazil you had the chance to have the real deal... the Caipirinha! Cachaca is now relatively easy to find in Europe/USA so enjoy...Cheers
Drinks Tube invasión!!!
MMMMmmmmm............yum!! Gotta try it!
Thanks Jamie... Today I saw you on tv here in Brazil, giving an interview and tasting Açaí ... Great...
Brazilian secret: The lemon center leaves the bitter drink and it is a very common mistake, cut the center off, then you will have a drink really as we take it here.
Love this new version! With cachaça is awesome too!
Nice version!
Looks like a "frozen caipirinha" =P Really nice!
From Brasil a BIG thank you for this beautiful tribute! Cheers!
Now you are coming to Brasil, you have to try it with our local drink, the "cachaça"!
Good variation on a classic drink. And I loved the fact you didn't shake, caipirinha and its variants are just supposed to be gently stir.
I loved the twist on our caipirinha, sure will try it out with friends. Great to know that you're here in Brasil, I really love your work!!
amei a versão JAMIE OLIVIER!!!
Here in Brazil we use "cachaça" and white sugar. A little less ice and a liiiitle bit more "cachaça". But Jamie's one must be so tasty aswell!
You forgot the sugar, very important ingredient in capirinha/caipiroska
Which type of vermouth then? Dry or sweet?
+JulesVernesDream we don't use vermouth never,just vodka,lemon,sugar and ice. :)
always dry and never Martini. Try Noilly Prat
I am from Brasil, nice to see a new interpretation of caipirinha
i think maybe some day i'll try it, its good for those who doesn't want to get fat hahaha.
Cya, sorry my english
Good one .
basil?? what an interesting take on caipiroska! must be lovely. missing the sugar though..
yaaay you're coming to Brazil!!! you'll love here, Jamie ;)
yes yes I noticed! the tradicional Caipirinha is made with mint and, therefore, must have sugar lol but I really like this version, very original ;)
isn't it beautiful here?? glad you're enjoying *-*
yayy, great brazilian drink with an amazing twist! hope you have a great time here in Brazil Jamie :)
Seriously, how much time did Jamie have to whack that ice off camera to get it to that stage.
***** hi Jamie. Please show us the recipe to the chilli chutney you used in your 'posh cheese on toast'. Thanks!
the reason i dont sub to drinks tube is that i never drink cocktails and dont wanna know them eather all i want is your delicus food recipes:P
soft drinks? that sounds amazing Subbed!
youre the man my friend! Saluds from Brazil!
You'd be shot dead in Brasil if you said that in relation to that abomination of a cocktail.
@@Carrera6rennsport No dud...I do very very okay in Brasil saying this.
LOVED IT!!!!!! Obrigada seu lindo
Every time I drink caipirinha here in Brazil it tastes too sweet. I'm definitely going to try your version for me and my friends! :D
I've never had a caiproska with wine and I've been in Brazil for 4 years.
His version looks very good, but just in case ppl are curious about the "orthodox" way of doing caipiroska, its vodka, lemon, ice and sugar. The difference between Caipiroska and Caipirinha is that caipirinha has cachaça. Caipiroska uses vodka.
Don't get me wrong, I loved this video, but why is this not on Drinks Tube?
awesome Jamie ...good one !!👏
Martini bianco has sweet taste thats why he didnt put any sugar anymore.. I'll try this in my bar.. 👍🍸🍺
Isnt dry vermouth like, dry? As in not sweet?
Obrigado!
Cool
DELICIOUS !!!
brazil got crushed like that ice
2 Limes, 4 tbsp of sugar, Vodka/cachaça/rum, that's how I do it, and it tastes amazing. No brown sugar, c'mon.
No way. Are you coming to Brazil?!
important: cold ice.
Cheers Jamie..... that looks pukkaaaaa!
As an addicted to Caipirinha, a little advice on how you cut the limes: always cut off the white part (in the middle). It makes the Caipirinha (and any other drink with lime such as this Caipiroska) bitter. Nonetheless, I will try your version! :-)
Hello¹?!!! I'm a brazilian that see you.love your drinks....I Know everything about Caipirnha + caipiroska"!! So, whats is the best voodka/? thanks you so much ;)
I wonder what would happen if he couldn't say "lovely," "beautiful," or "terrific."
Jason Smith aaaahahaha
I requested Caiparinha a few weeks ago. I hope you'll still do a video on that 😃 Have a great time in Brazil!

You should send them 10 of those
you mean 7
huehuehue
7 Germany, 3 Holland
10 total
22 actually.
Civi why?
Every player from Brazil? '-'
Nononono, vodka is good. But caipirinha must be made with Cachaça! Where's Santos? Hahahahahah Hope David Hertz and Katita give you the real deal, heheheh
That's caipiroska, in his own version.
Diógenes Araújo you do not know anything ... innocent!....... Sabe de nada inocente................kkkk
Stevlano Capelin Basic reading skills and common sense should be enough to know that a "twist on the Brazilian classic" means that he is changing the recipe, and not imitating the one everybody already know how to makes at home, otherwise it wouldn't take a chef to do it.
Caipiroska, not Caipirinha. Isn't even Jamie's invention, and has never been made with Cachaca.
PratoFundo Jamie is right. Caipiroska is made with vodka and Caipirinha with cachaça :)
On the other hand, he didn't use sugar as we do.
Yay, now you have chosen a more Brazilian music for the vid. Hahaha :)
Dose it have to be cold ice? I always preferd warm.
How about A Mint Strom preparation. Please
Jamie, vc precisa vir mais ao Brasil pra aprender a fazer essa caipiroska ai,, ta faltando ingredientes e sobrando outros em kkk
Jamie, you need to come over to Brazil to learn to do this caipiroska, there missing ingredients and left others
You are in Brazil? How awesome is that?! :D Yes sir, jealous! :D I think I will try out that Cocktail tonight for me and my friends - many greetings from Germany! :D Keep fingers crossed please :D
Você precisa vir tomar uma caipirinha aqui em casa. Essa aí é muito gourmet! Caipirinha de verdade não é assim não! Caipirinha e frescura não combinam não! kkkkkkkkkkk
Have to cut the white lemon inside.
true caipirinha is added sugar with lemon to squeeze
2:01 But i only have warm ice.. Aw maaaan!
Where's the brown sugar? Why so little lime? Isnt the point of caipiroska to replace cachaça with vodka? Might seem like whining, but if it's your version then it's ok.
Caipirinha is never with brown sugar!! Idk why europeans do that
uhperererere
Because its better using it raw when compared to caster sugar, which is better used in baking/cooking. If it's not in the original recipe welp, my bad.
Nononono, brown sugar! Aesthetics will be disaster. Taste could be lovely, but the visual, oh, no.
This is not a Caipiroska, but a World Cup Caipiroska. Martini Bianco is really sweet, but too much lime would be overbearing without additional sugar. Brown sugar is good with a mediocre spirit (like Vodka or bad cachaca), but if you can get your hands on some good slightly aged cachaca you should pick fine cane sugar like they do in the original brazilian serve.
shouldn't this be on drinks tube?
Oh sh*. this is so wrong.
Caipirinha is Rhum base liquor cachaca....
if you take off that white part on the center of the lime before smashing it takes out that really bitter taste and you just get the sour and gorgeous flavor from the lime.
What herb is that? Couldn't understand.
lol the dude pimped up xD
U4gt d sugar?
OK, its a drink, but never says its a caipinha/caipiriska, please ... ridículo !!!
no sugar?
No sugar?
They put sugar on it, tho!!!
Is the original one with mint? For some reason I remember mint in this drink…
Why didn't you use any 7 Up in this cocktail?! ;)
Just made it. Need it to put 40ml vodka for me. To sweet with 20ml vodka
Where's the sugar?
In the sweet vermouth.
Not sweet enough
Great, but missing a little cachaça, that is the best.
Take 1 part Caipiroska and add to 7 parts Jagermeister. Serve.
mojito + vodka
You really need to put some sugar into that...
***** Oh, I see. In the Brazilian caipirinha, or even the caipiroska, the sugar is a "must have" item. In a very well done caipirinha the mix between cachaça, lemon and sugar makes it so nice and sweet that you barely taste the alcohol.
As a tip, I'd recommend not using the white parts inside the lemon if making a Brazilian caipirinha, because they have a bitter taste.
Sudden video grading @ 3:50 ;)
Isso é folha de hortelã?
+Luciano Niza de Cápua Folhas de manjericão, é mole?
Não é manjericão.
Mas ele falou que é basil e basil é manjericão, embora eu acho que fique melhor com hortelã.
I thought I could make it with warm ice lol
i think you had some more drinks before you filmed this video :D
What I was thinking when smashing the ice:
"Why the heck is Neymar's luck is so bad?"(smash)
"How the heck did Spain play so bad this year."(smash)
And lastly"Why did World Cup end so fast?"
Couldn't find cachaça? hahaha
Where in Brazil are you gonna be?
Germany coctail!!!
where's the sugar? caipiroska and no sugar??? no way...
The vermouth he's using is sweet.
Tracy G Sugar is supposed to be used in this cocktail. When you use a muddler to squeeze out the juices in the lime, the sugar acts as an abrasive to help release the essential oils in the skin
Missing the sugar!!!!
***** Its because here in Brazil we are used to sweet it with sugar, although i made this Caipiroska and it tasted good!!
Caipiroska needs sugar Oo i know that is Jamies version, but Caipiroska is only caipiroska if haves cachaça if doesn't is a Caipirinha
you said it backwards. caipirinha has cachaça, caipiroska has vodka.
Dooh -.- Other way around sweethart.. nice try tho
I love your all your adjectives jamie, but 'cold' ice does not work. lool @2:01
Where is the sugar?
please, use "pinga"!
Do you also have a Brazilian cocktail that can be totally destroyed by Germans?
Lolololol, German people drink only beer dude. I read in a Latin text that they believed wine to be harmful for them as it made them more girly-ish and sissies, so beer is what they thought it was best to drink.
kostas12085 This seriously is really close minded. The German drinking culture is by now actually pretty evolved. While beer still is a national drink other thing gain way bigger popularity in Germany.
kostas12085
You'll never been to Germany, right?
Germany is full of good Bars, and the most of them use good Havana Club for rum Cocktails. Not shitty Bacardi, like some Brits which we love. ;)
Why does he say Mr. Oliver ? did someone take his chef title away ?
