Thanks! Which one of the 800 clips do you like more? The first, or the second? I think the first has a bit more of the said cut, clarity and punch. The fullness with the 421 is also not bad, but you get some phase issues and smear. It smooths things out. Mesa panned left and Marshall panned right made it incoherent. Original Bogner Uber arrived today, btw. Will see how i like :D

I wouldn't say that one is better but mixed together they would sound amazing I'm sure! I want another DR and JCM 800! Im just running straight into a Mesa Mark IV right now. I love my Mark IV but miss the Rev F DR i used to own. I put KT-88s and KT-66 power tubes in mine...it sounded pissed the fuck off! Awesome vid man
Thanks! A bit late, sorry. ;) Yes, the Marshall is stock. Cab is a MF400B (Celestion G12-K100) I sold the Mesa. I'm not a fan of blending amps. I tried all sorts of combinations. The Multi-Watt Triple is mean. I have a JP-2C on order. We'll see if it ever arrives :D
@@ThyFinalPain did you use the same set up on the mesa or just straight amp? Now that i think about it the Mesa sounds more demonic and thick than the 800 regardless of what the Marshall elitist claim on here

@@EM-km8em You don't need two pedals with the Mesa, I like the Maxon OD820 and the Ibanez TS9 too. but OD9 and ST9 stacked worked pretty good. I only have the 2203 now and i'm using a Deadweald Duality DX with it. It's a three channel boost with integrated noise gate. Unfortunately the have supply issues. www.deadwealdaudio.com/duality-dx

Yes. Two boosts and a Noise Gate (ISP Decimator II).
