I’m jumping headfirst into the staccato world, going to pick up a P dpo in a few days and also ordering one of the C2 dpo limited edition models with the ice comp that I managed to find on gunbroker. Looking forward to both guns after this review
I’ve been looking at the tenicor velo 4 for aiwb G19X or my p365xl, does the addition of a TLR1 HL or X300 sized light make your holster setup noticeably bulkier?
Hey Big Johnson! You've responded to a couple of my comments in the past which I appreciate. Hoping you do again to answer this. I basically want one handgun to rule them all, I also believe I want a staccato but don't know if I should go CS, C2, or P. If you could only have one staccato to: Conceal carry daily, shoot for fun, and shoot in USPSA/3 Gun/ 2 Gun, what would you choose?
Yeah if I remember right my 4" 686+ is 37 or 38 ounces. With 7 rounds of Buffalo Bore hate in it....probably ticks her up to about 42ish oz. It is not bad at all to carry so, those would be a cake walk to carry.
I picked up my P yesterday. It is a Steel frame, DPO, Threaded. Running 507C acss, with TLR7a. Shoot great, I will have to unlearn my glock dip. Makes a great suppressor host for my Rugged Obsidian 45, it cuts recoil to zero. It carries well in my Crossbreed Light Defender for my G41/ X300 . It does need a wedge to tuck the grip in tighter.
@@thisismagacountry1318 for me. I have only shot magtech, and tula. No stunning groups yet. I will try some Fiocchi when I can get some. Wife and I will hit the range tomorrow. I will shoot the Obsidian in K mode.
Not sure why anyone would run such large lights when bulletproof smaller lighter products are available. C2 is on my list. Going to sell or trade one of my Ed Browns.
Great video, just the info I was looking for as I carry a Glock 19 with RMR and X300 but planning on trying a C2. I do have a question though, any problems having a ranger band on the P ? Have you tried carrying the C2 with a ranger band ?
going to get my first 2011 2019 P seems perfect but it will be between c2 and P, I wont be getting both, 1 or the other. any advice would help as I have not held either.. I prefer the 3.9-4" barrel length over 4.5" but I also prefer g19x/45 , cz 75 p01 , sig sauer 1911 size grips over a g19/p365XL, etc
Then You would like the C2 better. The C2 also shoot like a bigger gun, I have more detailed vids on it. I have XXL hands & it works great for me. Congrats & Carry On
thank you very much, it is on the way this week, any upgrades recommended besides stipple / optic / light ? magwell / flat atlas trigger / prefer to leave internals mostly stock, holster? what rmr style optic plate is recomm? I got RMR's and 508T
Thanks for the review on the Tenicor. You relied to a comment on here a few days ago and I ordered the Tenicor and got it from the day I ordered in 3 days I think. I received it yesterday and using it for first time now. Seems pretty comfortable and conceals well. I may change to the bigger clips as well though.
@Big Johnson Guns and Gear I like how you switched to a single 1.75” DCC clip. I don’t like the 1.5” on my Tenicor. Is this the mod 4 1.75” standard clip? Thank you.
Enjoy your reviews Big J. I saw those bicycle tires on your $2-$3k pistols. Really? why don’t you just have stacatto adjust your grip safety to half or 25%. Think you can even go less. Great channel.
3:23 Alloy does not mean what you think it means. Steel is an alloy. But a useful video nevertheless. I am tired of waiting for DWX Compact, so I am getting C2 DUO.
Because not hands are the same & some people don’t need 3 or 4 safeties. Also Some 2011’s & other similar type guns don’t even come with grip safeties.

Hi. I’m actually looking at getting a Stacatto. I’m torn between the P and the C2. Most likely will be used for target, home defense, maybe carry. I’m curious what your thoughts are on shooting the C2 vs P. They shoot the same? I know it’s a loaded question and personal preference. I just don’t know anyone with any yo try out.
They are both great guns. I feel the C2 is the best do it all Gun. I also carry my P, however the C2 is more practical for most & shoots like a bigger gun. Hope that helps, Carry On
@@BigJohnsonGG thanks BJGG, that answers my question too. I have two C2’s and always wondered if I could or should carry a P since a couple of guys on YT claimed the P shot a little flatter due to less muzzle rise. But I was concerned on carry concealment, although I do have a more athletic cut body, so I carry OWB and wear a loose fitting outer shirt or hoodie in cool weather. I have nearly zero printing with an optic C2, but a P model may be much more visible for me. I use a Southern Trapper lined MVP leather holster for my C2’s, I love them and use in OWB configuration (they can be used OWB or IWB). Actually I use both right and left-hand versions of this same holster for NRA training events. If their holsters are too expensive, wait until holiday sales when they are 25% cheaper.
@@BigJohnsonGG looking forward to another comparison between the 2. I wanted a non threaded P but after seeing Cadre I think the C2 is an option for me
Made them myself. Buy a $3.00 bicycle inner tube at Walmart & cut strips out of it..pick your strip width to cut out, make tons of instant ranger bands. Carry On
The C2 only comes in aluminum, the P comes in both. I prefer the aluminum in both because I carry them both. The aluminum P is 5 ounces lighter that the steel model. It’s really all up to you & what you prefer.
I just clicked on this video to see if you had a holosun optic on a staccato… Let me say I am disappointed in you my guy. Don’t disgrace your staccato with a holosun optic. Nice holster system. Staccato really thought it through with the C2 for hand grip size.

Why do you have the tape going around the grip of the P?
Because my XXL hands can’t engage the grip safety consistently. It’s since been pinned down. Most of mine I have them pinned.

Does the c2 grip feel smaller in the hand girth wise?
About the same it’s just shorter in length.
Girth is like a gen 3 Glock 19 or a med back strap gen 5
I'm using dual shoulder holsters under a vest for the P.
