whoever arranged this needs to get their act together lmao, i know with this song there wasn't a lot to work with but having tenors and baritones literally playing whole notes the entire time is not okay. as a low reed, i'm disappointed.
Then why don't you write your own arrangement and show us how good it sounds. How about you learn how to play as a part of a band instead of complaining about your part.
@@mr.klunee4103 This arrangement is actually trash. There is no reason for the trombones to be the only instruments that have the melody IN THE FREAKING CHORUS. From an arranging standpoint, that's just inexcusable.
it's just really bland and boring... like it's not as upbeat as the actual song.. like I don't wanna dance when I listen to this, I feel like I'm attending a funeral procession
we’re playing this song for our first show this year (i’m drum major btw,) except our director arranges all of our pieces because he’s badass and it sounds a lot less boring than this :/
Ideally that's the best thing, a director who knows arrange music to make his/her band sound the best. Especially in a small band where you might not otherwise have enough people to cover every part.
@@Tektahedron Same here. Our numbers have fluctuated from about 25-35 since I started. We don't have any feeder programs except the students that we "steal" from other areas because we're the magnet high school of the district, and the middle schools that directly feed to us don't have band programs, so many of our members started band in 9th grade. Out director is an amazing arranger and writes show music for the other huge bands in the area as well but he knows how to make a small band sound great.
Honestly the me and the french horn have an inside joke that we never get melody and when we do we joke about how bad well be ps. ( our band has 8 people in it)
Thank you Jason Lyons for ruining this song for me.... I am an alto player and he made me learn the trumpet part in under a week.... LIKE WHAT THEHEVKCPL.
This song was pretty fun during 29 when I finally got to play a part that wasn't just half or whole notes
99.9% chance that this was arranged by a trumpet player
It was Paul Murtha which everyone hates
Dominic LaSalle lol
@@itookashittoday1146 i have never seen anyone hate on paul, he is our lord and savior and anyone who says otherwise is a heretic
Quorine Micheal brown is better.
The first half was arranged by a trumpet player and the second half was arranged by a trombone player

Stardust☆Witch Meruru I play the bari sax and the alto so when I play the bari I only have whole notes but on my alto I get the really hard parts
Jose12 Love
That's why there is the not from trolls version lol

this song was not easy if you play flute
TheJennyShow some parts are difficult, but the rest is pretty easy.
TheJennyShow it was pretty easy for me
TheJennyShow you don't want it to be easy because then how are you supposed to get better. (Flute player speaking myself
Lindsey K very easy, ive played harder songs
try the clarinet 😂😁
lmao all the winds complaining about their parts in the comments and i'm like "well ya girl is in the color guard so I don't gotta worry"
ok
This guy is my choir teacher. 😊
Clarinet solo at the beggining until the first chorus
we played this for our middle school band night
all i had to say is
"was i really this bad last year"
what
it's just really bland and boring... like it's not as upbeat as the actual song.. like I don't wanna dance when I listen to this, I feel like I'm attending a funeral procession
I'm having troubles learning to play this for the quads
DeadlyKiller Gaming BAHAHA
I'm having trouble on snare for this whole marching band show this coming year LMAO
Loved it
We played this in Chicago :)
I'm playing this in Ohio
YAS!!! That tuba line!!!
why do most percussion part from Hal Leonard Marching band suck
Edgar Espino I know right. I love the band but the percussion part is not good enough
i think they have a non percussion person writing percussion parts lol
The bass part is soooo boring
@@chloway420 No they don't, most of the time they actually hire a separate person specifically to write marching percussion parts.
Mr. Klunee I know but sometimes they don’t
We played this when we went to Pasadena
There was a chance for so much energy in this that is missing
Our band has an arrangement of this that was created by a University of Toledo student for UT Band Day and it's so much better than this.
And harder. I played it, too.

Mr. Klunee precisely! our band is relatively small, maybe 25-30 people total... it’s really amazing having original arrangements :)

Go Trombones!
As a tenor sax player it's really boring.
PaintingWithPennies as a bass clarinet player it sucks too. We have to play the tenor sax part.
Honestly the me and the french horn have an inside joke that we never get melody and when we do we joke about how bad well be ps. ( our band has 8 people in it)
PaintingWithPennies as a baritone player yea it's pretty boring
The _bash_master245 says every baritone ever
Our seventh grade teacher gave us this piece
Same.
Nice
do "8675309"
yes do "8675309 Jenny"
Nice! :D
Our band took it faster but where trombones at?
Until yesterday I was the only one. 29 was a big solo for me
Ok first of in my band that forte for the brass needs to be LOUD to like a forteisimo like god play loud for Christ sake
“God play loud for Christ sake”
I feel that
How to buy the scores....
For the link in the Info field.

Can I say something, I hate it I ACTUALLY HATE IT when altos and horns play the same part as the trombone because it’s never in tune
perfect
I remember playing this in 7th grade 2 years ago. I hated it.
