I played this freshman year I wonder if anyone will remember this it was such a fun song. I graduate this year and I miss this so much. So much has changed since then but I'm glad this was apart of my experience
I played this last year with my school jazz band and I miss those times all my friends were in the grade above me and they were leaving the next year and then covid hit and I never got to say my proper goodbyes
OP, profile pic is veteran difficulty of Call of Duty: World at War. I like it and can relate as I just finished my last year of high school. But I do plan on returning there as a teacher to teach history.
Why are adults so stubborn 😭 I'm a 1st sax player and only sax player in my grade it's my last year in primary school and I want this to be a memory that'll I'll never forget the theme for our end of the year concert is 'Gratitude' well we grateful for 1980's JAZZ ppl ‼️
maya clausen I’m playing this in my schools stage band. It’s the bands favourite piece and we are so hyped we found an audio file of the the arrangement
I remember joining jazz band at my school and we played this and i couldnt play a high e or a now i can barely hold a high c and i like to see how far ive gone in a few years
@ItsExgle Awesome and enjoy it But the part is so funky that when ur band mates want to play something fun they will to u to start that amazing bass line
tmrw im gonna be playing this at my school as an alto sax 2, so im kinda excited but nervous LMAO. ill probably reply to my own comment updating on how it was
helloo! im glad to say how fun it was and how my friends hilariously cheered me on before and after performing, honestly cant wait to perform more in the future
I played this chart on trombone in middle school when I was in 7th grade. I remember all the off beats and 16th notes rhythms… especially at bar 100 were the hardest thing in the world 💀
This was nice for our middle school CONCERT band... Our Middle School JAZZ band had other pieces, same goes for ELEMENTARY concert band.. I see what's wrong here...
Song is called “Sing A Song” obviously by EWF. Also idk if you have the sheet music irl but it actually says what the song is when it starts. Sorta unnoticeable in the video though.
I get it's supposed to be a watered down version, but this captures none of the excitement of the original songs by EWF. It's essentially an elevator music version.
Its kinda sad to see that the only thing people care about is September when there are a bunch of other great songs that come from earth wind and fire. Besides i would want September to be a separate song entirely. Also it would sound better at a higher grade level, BUT hey now thats just my opinion.
Yeah, it's true, the song's pretty great just as it is. In my band, we actually tweaked it a little bit so that it would sound better, but it did increase the difficulty.
@@juanbautistamartinezregis9414 Yeah, our band also tweaked it so that the trumpets steal the altos melody (get noobed) and made parts for flutes and clarinets.
I remember playing this, when times were much simpler
Sameeeee it was so fun
im playing this right now in 8th grade
I’m playing this in my spring concert. Wish me luck.
Sameeee
good luck!
Same!
me too
Good luck also I’m in beginning band in the concert

I played this last year with my school jazz band and I miss those times all my friends were in the grade above me and they were leaving the next year and then covid hit and

Damn. That sucks. I played this song for like a week in my jazz band then we never touched it again until recently. Great song though
OP, profile pic is veteran difficulty of Call of Duty: World at War. I like it and can relate as I just finished my last year of high school. But I do plan on returning there as a teacher to teach history.

Our band director gave us this but we never really played it. Seems like people liked it so that might be too bad. :(

very well put together

Really good warm up song for beginners
Increible
Show 1000, lindo demais.

Jesus level.
I hope we play this for our band concert in high school for jazz
Best composer!
September isn't really a groove though?
i agree

I was waiting for a transition into september, big dissapoint
when you were supposed to play this near the end of the school year but your band teacher gave up on you
Wtf the same happened to me omg lol I’m clarinet
Oof
Where's September?
it's in there
No it's not read directly under the title of the score there's no famous month name
oh i didn't realize
Bruh we played this bruh it was so hard after we learned it it was still kinda hard
Not hating but... Middle school?
Let's groove
We played this for jazz band

What a program usying this vídeo for extract The sounds real?
(Sorry my English. Im Brazilian)

We played this in 7th grade
Playing this right now as first trombone and its killing me 😅, im also the only trombone so thats fun
Where my trumpet gang ???

I don’t mind let’s groove and boogie wonderland buy why put sing a song instead of September?
Leuk
Paul Murtha & Michael Brown
Uncompatible‼️
Transitions and trumpets
Why does trombone have to be so dull against the sax???!!??
Bruh any part for oboe ??
Where in earth wind and fire is September
What’s beat tempo
Oh
I get it's supposed to be a watered down version, but this captures none of the excitement of the original songs by EWF. It's essentially an elevator music version.
I didn't know september was good it seems people like it a lot
It’s great, but they have much better songs and it seems the people in these comments can’t seem to appreciate them.
boogy baby
Ничего яркого.
Bass clarinets having to play the whole time😭
why are people acting like earth wind and fire’s September is a one hit wonder.. a part of me doesn’t want september to be in this arrangement
1.5 speed is more accurate to what it should be played as
September is missing ! Its awful
Pyromaster no
This comment is much more awful. You the type to call yourself a fan of Earth Wind and Fire because you heard September in the Phineas and Ferb movie.
