I am adding in a lot of drum fills and it sounds so good. The percussionist at Harrow Young Musicians always improvises and I like it better. However Paul Murtha is an awesome arranger and I think that the percussionists should just play there part for once.
Its both easy and difficult to play tpt 1 as im playing alone and the notes are easy but after playing it for a while it starts to sting on my mouth.And yes i have 6 years of trumpet experience ans im 14!
I might be moving soon and the school I’m gonna go to has a rly crappy band from what I know so far so I’ll be better than everyone else but I’m gonna start a Jazz Ensemble and use this as the classic main song It’s gon kill my band director and band once I leave because I’m one of the best players and he built me up from scratch
+Alpha Lord , If you mean alternate fingers for high G, you can use open valves, 1 & 3, 1 & 2, and 3. Lot's of alternate fingers for it. This song is a really great arrangement btw.
Maybe an unpopular opinion but it just doesn't sound good when instruments imitate this kind of rap/singing, where just one note is played. But aside from that, great Arr!
