We run a vinegar cycle followed by 3 water cycles in our coffee maker once a month. Works great.
We do that too. Amazing how much gunk comes out in the filter. 😖

Hi Patricia. I like my daughter’s kitchen too, but you are right. Mine is more cozy. Here’s is like so many modern ones today. Attractive but missing the fussiness, the little doodads that personalize spaces.

I paused the video, so I could go clean my coffee maker. I’ve been meaning to do it for awhile.
You look so pretty in that apron! I am the only one that decalcifies the electric kettle and the Keurig, microwave and toaster.

Wow - thank you for the tip on cleaning the toaster. I could never figure it out before, but I used my straw brush and it worked pretty well. I’m going to get a pastry brush because I’m sure that’ll work even better.

It's not just coffee grounds, but the oily residue. Coffee has alot of oil.

Coffee pot cleaner: baking soda and ice. Swirl it around and voila it is cleaner.
subscribing. how to clean hard water stains from bottom of toilet ... i always have to use the harsh toilet cleaners and would rather not do that to save the plumbing.

Hi Sarah, I’m glad it did. Our work coffee pot used to get kind of grody until somebody brought in dish soap and a scrubber, it definitely affected the taste of the coffee.
