I think the best tip for paper clutter is definitely to process IMMEDIATELY! As soon as paper gets in a pile, it gets forgotten! Nice video! Loved the tips!

I need everyone of these tips. Go digital, no post-its! Go paperless - I did do this. Digital coupons works well. Love my Aprons! Collecting all of the paper in one place works. I do it by the shredder. Sorting mail immediately. Sunday Basket??? Sounds interesting. I might try that.

@@homemakingwithdenise for me, the Sunday Basket… or Wednesday basket in your case, changed my life. I was never really disorganized before implementing that system, but now it seems effortless!! Enjoy!!
Greetings from East Texas! I have Colored STICKIES and HIGHLIGHTERS…and a system to use both. When I was working as a Case Manager my system helped me manage multiple projects. I also have ADD and OCD. Take my colored stickies and highlighters …. And I’d practically have a PANIC attack. Now that I’m retired from Nursing I am reducing my Color System and paper piles significantly.

@@homemakingwithdenise at first I did it by myself but decided I wanted the added support the Sunday Basket group offered, so I bought one. I’m not trying to sell anything, but their basket really works better than anything I’ve tried to make work. Now I plan with the group every Sunday.

Hi Ros, the one inch a day can work if you work that system. Bring it into one place and get started. One box or two boxes full? Start with one of the boxes and go for it. It does work if you work the system. When will you start?

Good morning, Denise! I like the suggestion of working through only one inch of paperwork per day. That seems more logical than tackling an entire pile of paperwork. I have felt overwhelmed by my teaching paperwork and college journal articles that I have printed for classes. Add to that everyday paperwork from my family and household...overwhelmed. I plan on trying this today. Thank you!!
Hi Karen, yes…one inch a day. Flylady Kat’s systems do work. Collect that paper into one place and start working through. You can certainly connect with Flylady. I’ve got her info in the description box but you can email her or follow her channel. You will like her. The entire pile can be a bit overwhelming. What is your start date?

Our Mail goes to a box on the street, thats ware I do my first un-clutter, there is a recycling been very nicely placed right beside it. It's amazing the paper waste; and then add kids on top of it, I can't save every drawing and those break my heart when I have to thin the pile.

Love the tips!! I have an unused shredder and I have 6 file cabinets! The cabinets are used to file plates, yes i color coordinate my plates. My paper is a mess!! I needed these tips!! Thanks so much!! I have tried digital, but I like a paper bill. Blessings

Hi Ver. It’s good to see you. If you use Google calendar you can still access that information. What I do it put that same info in my planner. The planner lives in my office so I do have that pencil and paper backup. What planner do you use?

Hello from California, how long should you keep gas, ele, etc. bills, I have them from 2yrs ago, I have bank Statements from 5 yrs ago, returned checks from yrs and yrs ago and mortgage papers from homes that ihave sold over 25 yrs ago, to afraid to let things go, something might come up where I may need something.
