Greetings Eric, I don't know if you are aware, but Rich solar makes 250 watt panels that are 60.6L X 29.9W, and they are small/narrow enough fit to the side of the a/c and to place 3 panels across. So between your trailer and ten 250W panes, you could have had a whopping 3250W. Maybe on your next RV.😁
Also, something for Wayne to consider when installing panels, is to place a small puddle of dicor, over and around the pre-drilled holes and set the solar panel brackets onto those puddles and screwing them down, and then putting dicor on top and around the brackets. This way it gives an extra layer of protection to prevent leaks. This method also allows the screw threads to get coated with dicor, as the screw gets driven in.
Safe Travels!
Have you ever thought of adding a generator ? I hear Onan is a really reliable brand.
Whahshaha
Hilarious!
😂😂😂
😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
Micro-air ain’t cheap but it’s the best! I put one on my 3 ton ac unit at home and it dropped the inrush amps from 80 to 22. I can now run it off of a 5000w generator. 🙌🏻
Please, not another channel with "animal voices " .
Have you ever considered getting a trailer big enough to haul both the Smart car and the Harley?
Man, those 200W bifacial panels look about the same size as the 100W units we used to have. We will definitely have to pick some up soon!
What brand do you think they are? For your situation in the PNW, you would benefit from the bifacial aspect.
Pluto potato family? I thought those were the presidential family! My bad!! 😂
If you mount the bifacial panels on a hindge you can set them semi vertical wich works grate the last 2 hours of sun and the first 2 hours they can make a big diffrance and its super simple have a latch to secure them when in travle or if you dont feel like doing anything surprising you will find that you can increase your solar on those days the sun is covered by clouds they are able to pick up refracted light well enough that if you had a couple days or week of no sun you will still produce energy of course not the same as a sunny day but way better than nothing. Everything looks grate keep up the teamwork and you will have your vision of what you want come to be your reality i hope you get a week of sun so you can finish without any prolbems😊
great
Honestly if this was babe the blue box the vertical option work but given this is a rv set up the wind on the road would rip them off damaging the roof
I have serious doubts that they would pick up more sun for early morning and evening if set vertical. The sun will shine on them no matter what if they are flat.
@@mr.p9882 solar tends to drop off in the early morning and evening you can maximize your ability to bank some kilowatts in your battery of course you would have a hinge and a latch so you can do it only if you need it like a hot day during the summer being able to run everything off solar is nice when you don't have to worry about angle and clouds of course the best is a solar tracker but that would be a little more challenging on a r.v. I know this because I have one my self even during the worst wind I have experienced on the road my panels survived flawlessly however my awning wasn't as fortunate if you do something yourself it is almost always easier that it seams and I almost always better
My hubby is a 49'ers fan too, but was not disappointed with their loss, he felt they played a good game, giving it all their best. Your friend Wayne, does he install solar on houses as well as RV's? He must be very good for you to send for him to do your work. Your home will be really nice when you are done. There is nearly always wind in the desert Eric. It took me at least 40 years to make peace with it. lol! We have had more rain than normal this year, here in Las Vegas. Being Las Vegas gets the least rainfall than any other city in the US, we tend to enjoy it when happens. Enjoy!
It's great that the solar is getting done. It's terrific Wayne came out to help you. Opie really enjoys rolling around in/on the rocks and sand. Tara seems to enjoy hanging out in the camper. It was a great game, really close but the niners lost. That's the way the football bounces. Take care of yourself, Tara and Opie.
What about those Chiefs! 😂
Tennessee Whiskey? That sounded like "I Would Rather Go Blind."
Wayne is a Godsend! It won't be long before he gets the entire system installed and running. Love your cats!
Smoke’n!!
That's going to be a super set up in the solar. Good for you. Looked fun hanging with the friends. Hugs to Tara and Opie. 🙂👍
SEE YOU AT NASCAR!!!!! Can’t wait to share our track with ya 😉
Love your singing ❤. We have a Horned Toad in my city, here in Southern AZ. Too bad your not closer to my city I could keep you "jarm" and you could have saved $70.95! ❤😅
I’m really behind so we are binging watching! 👋🏼 so glad we finally have sunshine!
The bi-facial panles might even perform worse than a single sided, I think. Because they dont have the back reflector, and no light from the rear.
Well…How ‘bout those CHIIEEFFS! Enjoying your progress!
That projector does amazing
Nice video Eric and yes Trailer Swift and Tara were cheering for the correct team. go Chiefs.
Sorry Opie wish you were pulling for us. Opie is so handsome.
Great video, so warm and fun. You friend is a blessing. Have tons of fun always. I was very impressed with your singing. I ❤️ love Karaoke, but no one to go with.
Looking forward to seeing the solar completed. Don
Thanks for sharing
Who needs solar when you got a brand new onan generator lol
Your Solar Panel’s look very very Cool 😎 Eric😎😊👍
Good progress. Go Wayne go!!!
Great camera and lens. Great picture,
Yea loved the pluto one made me laugh
Nice to have solar soon.
Hey Eric Great to see things getting done and the Solar mounted yes the game was awesome
Slow is fast! Fast is slow! Be safe!👍🏽😀❤️🇺🇸
You seem to be in better spirits - glad you had friends over for the Bowl game. Quite an exciting OT on that game.
Great video thank you!
Just got the Coleman road trip great grill shout out to Randy from another randy lol those taters looked good 😊
Thanks! FOR SHARING THIS VIDEO WITH ME ❤😽❤😽
Thank you, Maebell!
Nice work wayne eveeything looks super professional so far 👌
Go Chiefs Great game
I was feeling disappointed, I like to get video at least in the 15 to 20 minute range to satisfy the Eric update fix. 😢
Neat little grill. Hugs to the kitties.
ATTENTION, ATTENTION GET A STRETCH TANDEM AXLE TRAILER SO YOU CAN TAKE YOUR CAR AND MOTORCYCLE WITH YOU AT ALL TIME.
❤ Happy Valentines day ❤
Awesome!
That is pretty awesome.
Glad you got rid of that big funny looking hat!!!
Eric, can you post a link to those 200 watt solar panels? Thanks.
👍 Maxed Out . . . SMOKE’N!! 🇺🇸👍
Fun video, but, I wanted to hear you sing a long song, Sad.
. Opie likes his rock backscratchers.
@WAYNE I HAVE TO YOU ARE SO AWESOME 💯💯💯.
YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING.💯💯💯
But why were you watching the superbowl on delay ? I dont get it. plz help me understand.
he mentioned delaying it because it was still going to be too light outside at the start of the game for the projector
Great video
So much stuff, don't know how you keep up with it all.
That was a great super bowl
Will the insurance cover the rv if the solar burns down the rv ?
😮😮😮I didn’t get the memo to come over for the game 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤔
Here.😊
Fucken 9ers choked 😂 Good Morning Nomad
Greetings from kansas
What is Wayne‘s RUclips channel?
Rv Prepper Wayne
Tell Wayne if he gets to GA I could use his help.
I am not sure but I think his home base may still be the panhandle in FL.
Have you ever been to the Sturgis rally
So looks like you have regular house batteries and lithium ? How do you do this?
The lead acid batteries will be removed, the wires reclocated to under the dinette seat for the lithium batteries instead.
I was hoping you would use both. I have a house battery under the hood and it is s emergency start if the engine battrry goes dead.
Good game. Great friends. Sitting by a camp fire. Can't get any better than that
Yeah Eric get you a good oll onan they the best lol
u were a Seahawks fan rooting for the 49ers makes no sense to me
I love that song Tennessee wisky Yes Give babies hugs for me ✌️😁
What brand are those panels? I like that size.
Wayne not sure where home base is but you ever go through Georgia?
👍
With 10 panels how are you going to move around on the roof?
I would just get rid of the motorcycle and keep the car, it's more functional and safer. You could turn the car into a convertible and it would be the same as that motorcycle.
#5 Larson is my guy that'll win more than your new NASCAR choice! Lol!
can i get waynes info, we are headed to the Q in a few weeks and would like a soft start added to our a/c.
Wayne gives his email at the 16.25 mark on the "FIXED My Slide ~ On To Solar!" video
I thought I was the only one that said “cool beans” lol! Wish I could watched the game on that big screen! Go Chiefs! 🎉🎉
Eric, would a smart car make it to Florida from Alton?
Good luck with the solar install, it's a tough thing to do in the wind and rain. Keep the good stuff coming Eric.
Now I know who won the super bowl.
Is that a Harley ..lol
We are getting rain and wind day2🤨
I'm right down the road in Parker at the chevy dealership. I blew up the motor on my truck on the way to Texas hahaha.
Eric, with just alittle longer trailer you could take both the bike and car. Man that game would have been epic
On that big screen.
😊
Awesome it's coming along great
How’s Daytona going so far?
😮
Thanks!
Thanks!
If Wayne comes to the Myrtle Beach area I am close I have elec water and a dump station he can use while he works on my motorhome and or other folks.
Are you going to the Daytona 500 this year?
Legit thought you said "Haunted generator" at one point.
Tots look yummy
Next time you karoke lets hear you do some Ramstine lol
A 16' inclosed trailer would hold a smart car and a harley.
Going to Phoenix race?
No daytona? Thats a bummer, love the daytona/nascar videos
💜💜💜tfs💜💜💜
hey Eric i have a question , not sure of the size of the smart car and your trailer ,would your car fit inside the trailer with black betty?? it would solve your issue if it fits . just a thought ,love the new bigfoot loads of room for the kitties to roam n play.
Would a 7x14 enclosed fit your car and motorcycle in it if it's a vnose? Might upgrade just a tad bit and bring em both.
Eric, you should get an EV that has vehicle to load so you could use the vehicle battery storage if needed or charge the EV with any extra power / kws.
Hello, why the soft start if you got the amp/voltage to start it anyway? I have 200 amps of lithium batteries and an inverter/charger with 2000 watts continuous/6500 watts for 2 seconds that starts my 1200 watts of AC every time on batteries alone. However it can only run for about 2 hours max, but I usually just start it for 30 minutes while we have lunch on a hot summer day. Other than that I use my geny and recharge the lithium as I cool the trailer but nothing like your system, like all day! My next system has too, if I become full time rv'er. Tks for the videos, cheers!
It's coming along!
