Why so many have turned away from that rope is beyond me. As a former basketball player, one of my best cardio/fat burning go-to's is the might jump rope. Heck, we jump roped for at least 10-15 minutes before morning practice. Your blood flows, it wakes your body ALL THE WAY UP, and agility is another perk. Adding this particular workout to my routine, Simeon. I appreciate it, my guy!

Thanks for your video. I don't know any fancy jumping tricks either, but at 65 years old that's okay with me. I usually go to the nearest school yard where there's a basketball court very early in the morning. I jump 100 to 200x then toss 10 baskets and return to the rope. I repeat this until I've jumped 1000x!! I really like jumping because it quickly tones the entire body and builds the stamina almost literally overnight. There's a reason Muhammad Ali used a jump rope to train.

I started to jump rope and it's an amazing exercise for cardio. Not just because is efficient but is fun! In one month more or less u can try do variations like jump with only one leg and them switch for the other one. It's fun
I just started the 1000 jump rope challenge and completed that but I can do this instead and get more do the math so glad I ran across this video because doing 1000 with small breaks in between was mentally challenging this takes my mind off the number of jumps lol work smarter not harder🔥
Got myself a cheap rope set of 3 weights recently, very underrated exercise, I love it! Might invest in a smart rope soon tbh. Also shoutout to the production quality of these, really cool to watch 👌
It's a cool side effect I like to call sweat, I think you mainly get that full skin but slightly shiny look when you workout for 15 mins +, as I get that when I do jump rope or swimming.

INTERESTING! I've been doing my Boxing workout in addition to your morning workout because you said "You have to reduce your body fat in order to see the progress made more effectively. And my jumprope workout is the only cardio that seemed viable. What are the chances. Unless you're just promoting the "Smart Rope".
Im 48 and Im doing exercises since 18 years old, I always had the problem of having visible fat around my waist (eating almost everything no diet) and chest, On 2012 I started with the rope and everything change, I do 5 straight minutes rest 2 minutes and start doing 5 more minutes resting whenever i want, Today I will do 10 straight minutes and complete 20 minutes resting whenever I want (When I started my first time I can’t even do 2 straight minutes. (Today with 48 and almost no diet My weight is 168 pounds and im 5’11) Recommend Nopalina, Green tea and a real clean Protein low in carb and or sugars)

Good to do before playing shows, the first couple shows I played (hard rock nu metal band) I found the first 3 songs torture because my only hands were warmed for guitar but id hit the stage cold then Id be thrashing hard onstage. Youre not ready for continuous cardio until you've hit a min of 120bpm, you begin to sweat and then that's when I realized wae best to get on stage. No more dry heaving behind the amp or dry mouth. Skipping rope was the quickest way, with a sort of meditation effect to help you zero in.
It would help if you added a sound or a ding noise each time you changed exercises so I can follow along instead of constantly watching my phone while I’m using the jump rope

they do say 10 minutes of jump roping is equivalent to 30 minutes of running. jumping rope is definitely part of my workouts. absolutely. 🤙🤙🤙🤙
