Pencils, they seem to have more details and better tones
The correct answer is layering I use pencil/fine liner/marker/pencil crayon/chalk pastel/paint/airbrush not always that order but mainly
Coloured Pencils!
I use Koh-I-Noor and those are awesome. I never tried the Luminance yet tbh.

Not everyone can afford both, let alone good quality of both. Some people also end up finding something they feel more at home with. Nothing wrong with having a comparison of the two to help people decide
Copic markers look more accurate, take less time, and blend in many beautiful ways. Pencils look more colorful and vibrant, but take more time since you have to start with the darkest tone most of the time. Wish we could have the colors of the pencils and the blending of the markers.
Also pencisl have a real problem with light colors, you need to make your planning, also less colors.

Feels like a comparison between LCD and OLED screens. One is more accurate to manga (i.e. markers), while the other is more vibrant and saturated (i.e. color pencils). I prefer the more saturated look as the deeper colors feels more impactful.
I prefer the colored pencils version more! It looks more vibrant and stands out better in general!

skin tones are more accurate with the copics (skin is too dark with the pencils) but the pencils look better overall.

Pencils, hands down!!!! I have both sets, but I love pencils wayyyyy better because the colors are more vibrant. However, the pencils take a towe on my wrist.
