Are TEMU a legitimate company? I really have no idea. I was gifted these Alcohol Markers and I had no idea they existed. The low price definitely will entice many, and I can appreciate that, but are they worth it?
The original Touch markers come in at a ridiculously high cost, limiting their customers, but they are one of the most dynamic markers I've ever seen with so many features it's hard to keep track.
Still, Ohuhu are pretty much what I would choose.

Dude you can go even cheaper, faster and still get bold vibrant effects. My coloring technique uses crayola/roseart/ or any cheap washable markers (i colored in small, circular motions) for the flat colors. I used color pencils (cheap cryaolas are fine) for the shading and highlights. I use some white gel pen(uniball white gel pens) on some of the highlighted areas and colored pens for some shading touch ups. It's most the black and white color pencils for shading/highlights, but i also use a colored one a bit darker than the marker i pick for some mid tones. Plain, ball ,point pens, are great for additional touch-ups and finer details like the eyes and such. The white gel pens, i use sparsely on the highlighted side and smear with my fingers. when you've covered the marker with the color pencil though you can go back over it with a few more touches of marker and smear in in if needed. The color pencil acts as a waterproofing somewhat so the paper doesn't get to wet. Be warned though, it's messy and you will need to wash your hands some in between. I would use card stock mostly, but also XXl water color paper is great if you just want to use, ONLY washable markers. Scribble in the marker on the shaded side of your subject, and take clean paint brushes dabbed in water to bleed it across the paper for a water color effect. Ive tried getting people to use my coloring technique, but no one ever followed trough even though they said they loved it and would try it. It's been 4 years since ive made any art, just no motivation i guess. So i would be happy, if someone anyone would try my coloring methods, i wanna see it so bad in someone else's style. I've never heard of touch markers before but $5.60 for a pen?? who do they think they are, copics! 😂
Apparently, they're the same age. Touch is the Korean brand. Well, copics is the Japanese brand. And technically, Winsor & Newton are British.

Ohuhu is American (it is made in Hawaii,) Touch is in Korea, copics are Japanese, and windsor and newton are British

Hullo Anthony, I believe that the Chinese companies making the majority of the markers as well as all of the components, make for a whole industry for creating “dupes” such cheaper knock offs taking advantage of the higher quality markers. Once the recipe has been copied it is easier to “tweak” what is used in making them. I do believe that the “best marker” to buy is from the Ohuhu brand! They are not the most expensive, yet the company is listening to the customers and improving their products! They are also reasonably priced for a good quality product. Glad to see you creating videos and just hanging in there! Be well young sir!
They are not fake, Touch actually made loads of different grade markers. The black ones are the cheaper version. But the good thing is, Touch markers is selling refills, I think that is the best.
Apparently, I've been using am offbrand product if the ones in the black thing are offbrand. It's the same thing I have. I mean, they're pretty okay, so it doesn't really matter to me. I just didn't know they were offbrand.
If they say Shinhan International Inc. and have a Made in Korea sticker, they're original.
They're also 10 years old.
I do love how intuitive you are with your art. The shading in of deadpools nose and mouth areas were so satisfying to see you do almost without you thinking or lingering over it. I would love to see you do some full page drawings and colouring in of some zelda characters, I think you'd do a great job of those. Thanks for the content 😊 stay well.

As an illustration artist i have the fake touch markers but got them on the wish app before I even knew bout temu.
I have to say, this more fluid-style is really nice, like i want more, as a playlist to listen to, while drawing.

I read before that there "grades" to how closely the knockoffs resemble the real thing.
Grade A is pretty good and high, almost indistinguishable.
I wonder how would you rate these markers to the real ones?
Most supplies are made in the same factory i think,so mostly have same looks,same colors with same names so thats why the look alike

The problem with these cheaper markers is that the tips fray super easily. The ink quality may be good but the tips will wear out very easily over time.
Temu is a bit skeptic with how they handle your info (kinda like TikTok) 😅

Art is always a real struggle but can help you handle the hard things in life as well, even if you don't finish a project. It's about the process after all. Perhaps shaking things up and trying a different material for your next one might help? I've always really enjoyed your gouache paintings for example.
Keep holding on and don't be afraid to show the real you in vid's or to talk about your problems or perhaps even who you wish to be or who you wanted to be as a kid. We all struggle and talking about it, or listening to what other's go through will only make us feel less alone in our struggles.
Hi, please advise if your marker art has faded over time? I wanted to purchase alcohol markers, but if they going to end up fading, then its not worth investing in them, is it? Compared to colour pencil and paint, markers fade quicker, according to a RUclips video I've seen.

I'll say that again, in India I got 8 of original Shinhan Touch Markers at the price of 3 copics. You got it for way much more than they are.

Ohuhu is my go to brand for markers and paper.( and their other products as well) But the Canson marker paper (The Wall) is also really good. Great video.

I'm an artist, and making videos isn't art... it's entertainment. I'd rather not lie to people and force it anymore. I make art on streams, and relax more. But videos, I'll only go, until I can't be bothered anymore. Then I just "talk" :)
Another thing i noticed with the cheaper pens i use. The colour is great and going on the page is great. But it dies not last long sitting to the side. It does out alot quicker than the more expensive ones. So if you are not going to use them often you lose out.

The reason the casing is the same is because some sort of company offers a cheap casing for them to put their marker in and both companies chose to use that casing...

This video was little bit chaotic but made me laugh so thank you for that :D I bought these alcohol markers on TEMU, they have too many and name starts with Touch but they are not all the same, the nibs are "not nice" but I use them for some coloring (amazon paper usually) as base layer and then finish it with pencils :D so don't need blending etc ;)

I have some of those knock off touch markers....I actually like them....😂....I did some Dragon ball z drawings....The only thing is I found some that didn't work....by the way I love your video's...keep up the good work and thank you ❤
Those knockoff brands are honestly decent. I used them for little sketches. Half of them died, as I bought then from 2020, but I spent more time with them than my copics....

I still have my 2008-2009 black touch markers with the old logo and they look a lot like the one of your friends. I suspect that the white one are a different grade or collection
Ive been using artistloft lately to replace Prismacolor. They are cheaper, about $3 a marker, quality wise they are Ok. The colors are nice but ink flow is pretty slow and I burn thru them fast. It sounds like these temu markers are them but for what the cost should be.
I miss my prismas, but they were $5 a marker and getting harder to find.

Touch markers are the markers we commonly use in the philippines, and i still hate it for only having nibs, i wonder if they would start making brush markers too. But i love it cause, its honesly the only alcohol marker i can afford

I prefer brush and fine over fine and broad. I use both sides equally. Yes I know you can do everything with the brush but sometimes I don’t know my own strength lol
I have fake touch markers cause I can’t afford anything better lol. They’re not bad I would say the names of the colours don’t match the actual colours and maybe a couple don’t work. What can I say? You get what you paid for.

Just a tip from someone whos been poor for there entire lives, the cheap shit is almost always made in the same factory as the expensive brands the difference is the expensive brands have quality control and the cheap ones just get stuffed in the packaging. So buying the cheap supplies is always going to be a gamble

GREAT 4 SKETCHING! (not blending) I just got 60 Temu touch for $14....so far, MONEY WELL SPENT. You can use them on cheaper sketch paper and not feel bad using up a copic on a bad doodle...
I just picked up 70 pastels for $12 at ROSS....dont pay full price for art stuff unless its a special project...
They do bleed a lot, and the small tip is at least a 1mm width stroke
