The amount of improvement in all of these Sketchbook tours I see is literally insane. I own like ten sketchbooks of the past four-ish years of my art life and the middle school art is so relatable except my coloration never looked that beautiful sob sob I still can't color that well despite growing more in digital art :,D But the improvement again. Never be ashamed of your art and the pieces you drew to get to where you're at. Display your story prominently and proudly! Mine is still just doodles and fan art, that has never changed. What has is I stopped caring about what everybody else thought about it. It's sooo much more enjoyable that way.

THANK YOU so much for posting this! This video is really inspiring, seeing how your art has grown over the years and all the mistakes that eventually got your art to where it is now. It reminded me that art doesn’t have to be perfect and theres always going to be more paper to draw on if learning mistakes are made. Will be using pen to draw more often, and I also call splatoon squid game, a lot.

Ever since I first found you (a few months ago, I believe), you made me a lot more happy in life. You have an amazing style. In the beginning of the video, as you showed the sticky note with the Lloyd drawing, I could you not, I was like pointing at my screen and said, " You are now my favorite youtuber!" 😂. I grew up with Ninjago, so I was so happy. And, most of the time, I drew Ninjago characters. Not that long ago, I re-drew an old drawing from two years ago and saw improvement. I was dying. In middle school, I never liked how I drew before then. Now I just have fun with it. I love finding youtubers with same interests with fandoms. It's so cool! Keep up your amazing work!

39:30 i think you had geese as a reference because ducks beaks are a different shape (geese have triangle beaks) their necks aren't also as long and their headshape is also slightly different they have chubbier cheeks but these are still really cool!

The last little note at the end of your last sketchbook rlly hit home for me. I didnt injure my hands but i have a spinal cord injury on my upper middle back and whenever i try to sit down to do work or crafts or art i can't. Ive been stuck like this for 3+ years and not being able to draw properly on my desk is really annoying. I cn sit for about an hour before it starts to hurt but even if i take breaks it doesnt go away until like 2+ hours. I tried to power through but i end up just sulking on my bed I dont know what happened to me, All i remember was that i was sitting at home during covid when i felt a dull ache on my rhomboid muscle and it has continued ever since Now i have to stand for any deskwork for hours and its awkward at school because im the only one in the whole classroom standing Hopefully I'll get cured one day but so far the only thing i can do is take a break from everything. Including school and art

I also wanted to commend how strong you are for dealing with your wrist issues, and having to start from square one with your art. I was working a retail job for awhile that involved a lot of repetitive wrist motion, and I nearly ended up in the same position as you-- I can't imagine how I would have dealt with that. kudos to you for handling it as best you could! tl;dr, there's no need to defend what you enjoy or inspires you. just make what you love, and keep on moving forward! stay strong!!!!! 😤💖

I didnt injure my hands but i have a spinal cord injury on my upper middle back and whenever i try to sit down to do work or crafts or art i can't. Ive been stuck like this for 3+ years and not being able to draw properly on my desk is really annoying. I cn sit for about an hour before it starts to hurt but even if i take breaks it doesnt go away until like 2+ hours. I tried to power through but i end up just sulking on my bed
I dont know what happened to me,
All i remember was that i was sitting at home during covid when i felt a dull ache on my rhomboid muscle and it has continued ever since
Now i have to stand for any deskwork for hours and its awkward at school because im the only one in the whole classroom standing
Hopefully I'll get cured one day but so far the only thing i can do is take a break from everything. Including school and art

I also wanted to commend how strong you are for dealing with your wrist issues, and having to start from square one with your art. I was working a retail job for awhile that involved a lot of repetitive wrist motion, and I nearly ended up in the same position as you-- I can't imagine how I would have dealt with that. kudos to you for handling it as best you could!
