Nightfall is very good in affliction. Incinerate, chaos, drain life with corruption and wait for nightfall procs while you do the rotation along with imp ofcourse
@@winkyhc yea I just wish there was a better way to hold aggro! I feel lots of the other classes just dish out soo mutch dps it's hard to hold anything now, especially multi target and it sucks that meta was nerfed from 100% threat generation to 50%

I am running the Nightfall build and i am on the fence about 5/5 Demonic Embrace... i have been turned down from BFD groups because my health is too low (i am 1.1k life unbuffed), lack of silence / kick is my biggest issue.
those pugs are just scared of warlock power ;). I'm not the biggest fan of 5/5 Demonic Embrace either tbh the healers arent complaining about keeping me up at all right now
@@winkyhc it's just insane how much more health shamans have, warriors have and even druid have, with skull bash rune druid have a silence, shamans have earth shock silence, warriors have shield bash and as a warlock I have nothing... With casters still underperforming even after some small changes on yesterday its hard to keep the dream alive and hopefully lvl 40 with Gnomer goes better. I would love to see an immolate aura rune that replaces immolate that plus hellfire would make us AoE kings I really hope cure of elements has a rune or something to break immunes as we will not be viable for much end game content with the many shadow and fire immunes

While I agree with you, ill be testing out the imp imp with lake of fire spec tomorrow and seeing if we can figure out a way to make it work. The damage is NUTS if you check out EMT's parses with it
Not like the damage difference between succubus and imp is gonna make or break your runs, instead id argue the 9 stam party buff is more impactful. Also theres a few bosses where having a ranged pet is straight up Better, not only on turtle boss but also totem boss and the second to last one cause they count for the boss chain ability

I offtanked a 7/7 pug with 950ish unbuffed. Rejected for 1.1k is crazy to me.

Use a talent calc for the dps portion of the video instead of hovering over options while in meta.

Imp is dealing more damage than succubus in the current phase with the talents for it. been tested
