GTA Online Has Never Been 100% Safe To Play... (Ft. Joker For Life)

- GTA 5 Online has many problems that Rockstar Games should probably address. God mode glitches, orbital cannon spam glitches and many other GTA 5 Glitches and bugs that still haven't been fixed after the San Andreas Mercenaries Update. But one platform has another problem that PS5, Xbox Series X / S, PS4 and Xbox One don't have, that problem is modders. It's easy for anyone to install a GTA Online mod menu on PC and this can cause problems for other players which is something Rockstar should take into account with a future GTA 5 update. Rockstar Games is aware of the mod menu shenanigans that's possible in GTA Online and they should've put a stop to it already but here we are, the GTA Online Mercenaries Update and it's still a problem. They should put a stop to it with a new GTA Online update instead of allowing this to potentially happen again.

I can confirm that invite-only sessions are not safe - be careful, even on consoles. My account was corrupted by a griefer on Xbox (NextGen) during an invite-only session. I spent a month fighting with Rockstar to repair my account because they believed that what I had was... just a problem with my statistics, which was not their concern but mine 😁 They didn't care that someone had broken their security twice - first by joining an invite-only session and then corrupting my account 🙂
Eventually, someone in support acknowledged that a player's account corruption was also their problem. The only solution they had was to clear my account. This means that you lose everything you bought, earned, all the items from the wheel of fortune, all the special items and rewards, and your statistics are reset, BUT all the money you earned, including what you spent, goes back to your account. It wasn't the best solution, but it was better than playing on a corrupted account, so I opted for that.
I hope that this slightly lengthy story will make you love Rockstar and GTA Online even more 😉
Great recap. I play Invite Only these days. The suck part is trying to do sell missions with people using the Orbital Canon. No more. Online is really a solo game, because most don't have friends, and no one wants to help in public. Nice concept, but it doesn't work with modders and greifers blowing up sell vehicles. It's a PITA having to restart the game when a modder screws up your session and starts blowing you up. Then I remember to go back to Invite Only. When GTA 6 comes out, I may have to play on PS5 or PS6. The thing is, it's nice to play on my Steam Deck at the GFs place, and my PC at home. If I get a PS5 or whatever they have in a year (PS6), then I'd have to buy 2 of them. Plus I like using Keyboard and Mouse to kill enemies.
It’s sad that we have to play in invite only sessions just to avoid modders on pc and most people such as yourself realise the game is not worth playing in public sessions most of the time, it shouldn’t be like that
Even without mods, the console side is still just a sesspool of degeneracy, there are regularly encountered players who pretty much are never appear on radar and their defense is they "grief the griefers" but they just contradict themselves by doing exactly what they are claiming to oppose.
Godmode vehicles are still a thing or they just orb spam you and really get off on how godlike they feel from doing it... which tells me they've never won a real fight in their life and this is the only sense of power they feel.
R* is like Hellen Keller when it comes to pvp glitches and gameplay glitches a marksman for money glitches and fun glitches
Money glitches are at the top of the list, and merge glitches for some reason

if R* hasn't been assed enough to deal with modders years and years and years now, they likely never will be
There needs to be a class action lawsuit against R* or something, seriously something really bad could happen if modders are allowed to continue
There was also the fiasco of people losing ownership of their crews.
The crazy part about that was the fact Rockstar had their own crew stolen
PC is full of modders on Rockstar and I have not heard that way back on ps3 days
This is why I only play on consoles.

I honestly think it's dumb play. Why does people do that? I have used mod menus in so many games but I don't ruin people's lives. I either make it fun for me. So I could like teleport. Like if we talk about GT a Mon menu some of the nonmetistory mode, I don't really use them online. But if I do use them online, it will be a single player, but yeah, I use it to tell a port drop money into people if they want. I ask Hey. Do anyone want one? This is money for this thing or something in the session. And if some people say I want to do it legit, I don't do anything. If you say yeah, I need some money I'll give them a button load of money.
I only give them A million because set taking a lot from rock star. And you can get a million every day and rock star. Doesn't care cause you can do that legently. But like in Minecraft, I use a moon menu. I can grieve people my Mommy, if I really wanted to but no I just use it for X-ray, no fall DM. Age if I'm building something I can fly rebuild easily like I just use it fun. I also use the commands to teleport them on menu account. Activates commands in my game

Yep, I didn’t realise how much god mode was taking over sessions on both console and pc until last year. GTA is a mess overall but still just barely playable

For me it's my AUTOSHOP and CLUBHOUSE which hasn'y §worked properly for 8 months ... The CLUBHOUSE miracuylously fixed itsel and now has stopped workinga gain.
The problem with MODDERS is a joke ... when I'm attacked by a modder my goal is to get away, not as requested by R* to grab the moddrs anme and a screenshot.
When you ask to speak to someone hgigher up in the pecking order and you get to 'magical' level 3, they are juyst as hopeless.
What friustrates me is that you cannot get to speak to anyone who will honestly tell you what the problem is.
When I point out that they are selling the PC version of GTA 5, a defective game, via a STEAM special offer ... as they started to do once again 5 days ago on STEAM, thry ignore it.
When you've 175 million copies of GTA 5 I suppose it gives them the power to ignore anyone who has already bought it.
If I remember , I'm going to be posting about this before TAKE-TWO's next EANINGS announcement in the hope that the media will report of this state of affairts
