A group of us from Ireland went a on trip to Liverpool.
Came across this man dancing along to a street performer.
Then some lads start dancing and we join them and the crowd decide to join in too!
Great to see people enjoying themselves in a good mannered, well behaved way. Society needs cheering up 👍
How nice to see young men supporting this older man with his need to dance to the music.
I adore the People of Liverpool. Great humour and kindness.
Those wonderful young men that joined the gentleman's shuffle dance was heartwarming.
The person that said "come on " sounded so joyful. Bless you all.
You will never find that happening down south....makes me proud to be from liverpool. They calls us all kinds in the press, but you can't keep a city down like that....we just won't let you. Pure class !

This is the best thing I've seen on RUclips. I once walked past an old homeless man with no shoes and a beer can in his hand singing all you need is love. Everyone else were rushing to Primark etc. He was a prophet that day!
Brought a tear to my eye , people are basically nice, music brings us together, heart warming.
music does bring us together, what a thing it is, and what technology has done for music is unbelievable....I am 63 and never did get around to buying a television, what a different life I have had to some.....I spent my money on music, wine and friends....that is not to say I have never watched television, of course I have.....I will listen to anything and find something to like about it, what I am into these days is what the younger people are doing to the music I grew up with, clubbing and mucking a mess with my mates, the remixes are wonderful......and bloody hell, I can just speak to the air and ask it for a song and magically it it is heard....
Love the Liverpool people they are full of good energy. I am from Manchester I married one.

He's not a busker !his name is John and his dog is Jess,he collects for guide dogs for the blind and is well respected in Liverpool.

I can't imagine this happening in London. I was there a while back and there was this busker playing an electric guitar and he wasn't just good he was fantastic, and apart from a hand full of people nobody noticed he was there, all of them too busy or stressed.
Very often when I've been in Liverpool I end up chatting to complete strangers in the street, in London it's difficult to get directions. stop someone and they think you're going to mug them judging by the expression on some of their faces.

THIS is Liverpool. Salt of the earth. Moved here 14 years ago when I was 18. After living here for so long I still don't understand why so many people badmouth the city and it's people. If you speak ill of Liverpool, it's most probably because you've never been.

This sort of started off as a good-natured piss-take but immediately turned into whole-hearted support for the old chap who started it all. Lots of people, especially southerners, believe that scousers are all scallywags, nothing could be further from the truth. Hats off to the most warm-hearted people in Britain, always up for a good laugh and with an ability to turn a crisis into a comedy show. For me this is pure gold.
