    As someone who has yet to drop in my TR-1, I am super thankful for you making and posting these vids!!! Only you and like one other creator show the ins and outs of the TR-1, the best mods for them, and then riding after! I am vicariously living through these vids.

    Sick! Trying to decide to find a round nose superjet pre 2008 or just go get one of these.

      Definitely a hard decision! If your keeping it stock mostly stock id have more fun on the new superjet. If you modding the piss out of it the old superjet is more fun just know it comes at a cost of reliability long term. Maintenance on the new fourstrokes is significantly less than the old two smokes. Either one will be a little difficult to get since a nice fresh water only old superjet is like a unicorn and it took us 9 months to get our new superjet shipped from japan. The new superjet is the only yamaha jetski that is made and assembled in japan 😎 thanks for watching and good luck on finding the right ski for you! Let me know if yah got any questions?!

    Sounds great! I really miss my old 701cc squarenose and just found a 2024 SJ at a dealer nearby. Should I buy it or will I be disappointed with the handling and the size of the thing? I really like the playfulness of the old 2 strokes. I started with a js550 and then bought a '91 superjet with a lot of mods. That was 10 years ago, but two years ago, I rode the new kawasaki and that thing was WAAY too big for me to have much fun on. Thanks for any advice.

      There is no comparison going from a two stroke to four stroke. My favorite of all the skis is the our round nose 2 smokes. That being said the new superjet is a close second. It can still do all the tricks and jump waves. Honestly if we didnt mod out the roundnose with b-pipe, aftermarket head, ect. Id have more fun on the new superjet. New superjet handles well, yes they are heavy compared to the old skis but still very playful. Water wheelies and skids are still easy if your 180Lb+. The sxr is not playful at all. Its ment for going fast and racing. The new superjet is right inbetween the 2smokes and sxr in terms of size. new superjet very buoyant. They dont sink down in back like old skis do. This can make it hard for climbing on ski initially but easier once ur on. They are much more easy to tame and master. “Learning mod” is litterly only good for breaking in engine lol. All it does is cut power and makes it harder to gas it out of situations. I love the new superjet and when factoring reliability to the two strokes especially our modded out ones. The new superjet is superior long term reliable fun. Plus sounds wicked with the pipe. Faster top speed than the 701 2-smokes
      New superjet -55mph
      701-50ish mph modded out
      Hope this helps and have to say its really impressed me and glad we got this year!

    There is also a bolt on restriction in the exhaust by the water box for more sound ,also the hood if you run sealant,round the inside where black meets the white it stops the creaking ,do themTPS Throttle position sensor 2 torques transforms the ski

    Did it make it any louder I want to do it but mine stays at a marina so it can’t be too noisy

      If the exhaust tip is out of the water its quite a bit louder than stock. In the water its not much louder but sounds slightly meaner when u give her gas.

    the MPH difference could easily be attributed to it being colder out. Just sayin' But yeah I'm probably going to get one also.

    Do you think it’s still safe for the ski to not have the tuner when you do the free flow exhaust hose? I know you didn’t do the intake like you said as of now on this video. I know it’s not chaining air in only out. I would think it should be okay right?

    • @Floatsorrolls1
      @Floatsorrolls1  9 месяцев назад +1

      Correct havent read any issues on just free flow exhaust no tune. If you do both intake and exhaust then we definitely would recommend tune. But been really happy with just the exhaust. Sounds great! There is also additional baffling in exhaust inside the stock exhaust manifold but we opted against removing it since it could help prevent water back flowing into the engine. (Only seen some racers do that) and we ride just for fun 😎🤘🏼noise level is mild to moderately louder in the water but way louder out of water and sounds wicked
