    Great review. We have been using the NDI versions of these cams at our Church for a year now. We love them.
    We have a smaller church with less volunteers. We have a 30x and 2 20x cams with a network Controller.
    The ability to have one person operate is necessary. Also we just dont have the space in the church to put a tripod and we definitely don't have people to run each camera and a separate person to man the stream.
    We use rhe SDI to HDMI adapter, but also use the NDI to get backup network footage.
    They are awesome. And thr price is right.
    Tip for anyone interested is to buy directly from the site. Take a bit longer to come but you get better diScounts and no tax.

      Does it give you a great recording in the public events that you used SMTAV? Is it easy to use to record and live streaming in wedding, birthday or any special ceremony?

    It’s the jitter and skipped frames that ruins everything

  • @LouisCaputo
    @LouisCaputo 9 месяцев назад +1

    So... the RS-232C ports are NOT for video. They are for camera control with a joystick. The reason there is an IN and an OUT is that you can daisy chain multiple cameras for control if you don't have NDI.

    thank you for this complete test
    so the usb port can record on something like a usb flash card .?
    i d like to be sure before buying four of them
    is that while still streaming through sdi ?
    and how do you trigger the recording i didn t saw it anywhere on those ipor on the remote control
    by advance thanks to anyone kind enough to answer me :)

      That’s correct. It can record on to a USB drive while still streaming. You can stream and record at the same time. If you use OBS (it’s free), there is a button in the control panel that says “start recording”.

    Do those PTZ Cams come with a physical remote that can do the PTZ while broadcasting and NOT put data on the screen? We use SDI cables and an SDI quad capture card with HDMI to SDI converters in between, so all we need is SDI out. I have seen your other videos, do you still like it better than the Canon G50. I am seeing G50s for less than $600 right now.
    But My main question is how does it handle having colored LED lights on stage that are in the image? Right now our Canon M40 cams get really blow out, especially with the color Blue

    • @RevisionMedia
      @RevisionMedia  11 месяцев назад

      They do come with a physical remote. They have to be in line of sight for them to work but that’s pretty simple to set up. As far as lighting and color go, there are a ton of different settings to play with that can help with the manual adjustments of color exposure, brightness, and contrast. I’ve never specifically had colored LEDs on stage with these cameras but with white it’s worked well. White typically is the worst.

      @@RevisionMedia do they have to be reset with their settings each time you turn them on, or do they hold exposure and aperture settings Etc between power down

    • @PuntFamilyVlogs
      @PuntFamilyVlogs 11 месяцев назад +2

      @@OffGridandOutdoors they hold their settings until you factory reset them. Powering the cameras down will not delete or remove settings that you have saved.

      Man… so sorry for the late reply. I believe it might be. Stuff was getting mixed up while testing this camera out.
