Fusing Consumer Fireworks Artillery Shells

- This video will show how I fuse two different racks. A 30 shot rack for during the show, and a 50 shot finale rack. I will use different fuses to create different effects as the artillery shells are igniting.
You can check out my entire series on fusing consumer fireworks at www.creswoodcorners.com/tutori...
bought 2 racks off of longacres and it is nicely angled and perfect spacing between to avoid sparks igniting others but incase i used foil on the first try
Add screws next to each tube onto the wood at the top. Then run a metal wire looped around all the screws.
You'll be able to feed your fuse through all the metal wire and from there connect your shell fuses into the running fuse. No more taping or zip tying. Do the whole rack in a minute.
Do you have a picture or video of that? would love to see what that looks like. Thanks!
I would also be interested in a picture or video, Thanks
Very good
I’m doing four or five milk racks
But I only have basic green slow fuse
What’s thoughts on normal fusing for three rows and then last two rows working off one leader fuse? Like a little finale.
Safe ?
Would be doing same lead in to fuse
Thanks
Just some friendly advice, there is nothing safe about using a milk crate for a rack. Do some quick youtube searches and you can see what happens if you have a blowout.
That being said, in any rack, you can change up the fuse timing any time you want. But I would tie the the fuses together. I would not light a rack that was actively launching shells.
In general, I don't like to approach any fireworks that have already been lit, including my racks. I play it extra safe. It isn't worth getting hurt.
hi, why do you have comments disabled on the firework clips?
Yellow fuse? That’s a unicorn these days.
Yeah, I almost hated to use it! Hoping we can get some next year or it's going to be almost impossible to fuse artillery racks.
I'm thinking maybe small zipties might work as well. Maybe a staplegun. Must be something quicker than tape.
tape is by far the faster and more reliable option. I've done zip ties in the past and it takes at least 10 times longer. I don't stapling would work at all.
How do you avoid the whole thing igniting with the sparks flying off the fuse ignition? I have tried this several ways now, and it all ends the same with everything igniting at some point, regardless how I connect everything.
I covered all my tubes and fuses with aluminum foil. Messy but works
@@tylerwickwire1522do you have a picture with foil wrapped?
@@marlonrecuna7798 I do. How do you want me to send it to you?
where did you get fuse? online ordering?
There are a couple places you can get it online. Pyroboom and Cannonfuse are two that usually have it if anybody does.
What is the length of your tubes?
I think they are 12" or 14". Length doesn't make any difference for lift. So most places you buy the tubes online are already pre-cut to the 12" length for you.
I use a wire cutter lol
You can ignite the fuse cutting with a scissors
Correct, you should never use a scissors. That's why I use an "anvil" cutter like shown in this video.
how do u stop fuse jumping?
I don't typically have a problem with that. I keep the fuses tight. Sometimes I'll tape the fuse down on the side of the row. Racks typically don't cross-fuse if you keep the fuse tight. If you decide to wrap it in tape, be careful as it can speed up the fuse. Always test out the situation before your show with a couple of shells and the process you decide to go with. That way you don't have any surprises during your show...
Lighting a fuse with scissors? 😂 hell, i shouldve just got some $2 scissors instead of buying this $50 propane torch 😂
Perfect !! I have been using a propane torch for years. 22 Years as a licensed pro and I have never lit a fuse with $2 scissors
