Fireworks Fusing For Beginners (Tape and Zip Ties)

Today we will cover fusing methods for using both tape and zip ties. I strongly suggest using the tape method to avoid choking out your main fuse. Either method is completely usable and will be up to the person doing it, how they want to proceed. Again I suggest using the tape method first as it is a more guaranteed way and is actually cheaper in the long run

I do the same but i dont use extra fuse i just lead one fuse into another and tape them. Has worked fine for me.

Good video. The way you did it will likely work just fine 99.9% of the time, but I would definitely wrap that tape around the very tip of each canister fuse where you exposed the BP core. This will ensure the exposed core is touching your leader fuse.

What tape are you using??

It's just regular ole packaging tape honestly. The tape in this video can be bought Pyroboom.com it is label as "fuse tape" on their website. You can go to a place like Uhaul and get the same kind of tape if you dont want to buy it there. Hope this helps

Aluminum tape COULD work. However Aluminum tape has an increased chance to choke the fuse out if wrapped too tightly. Traditionally Aluminum tape is used more for covering the main fuse than it is connecting shell fuses. Hope this helps
