Great video. Love seeing my exact interior, which gives me more confidence that the instructions will be accurate. Very clean and concise, with no nonsense. I've been having what feels like transmission stuttering in my 2016 Jeep Patriot 4WD with 6-speed automatic. Dealer addressed it as TIPM. Once replaced, they said the radio was wigging out, so they replaced radio also. I seem to have several marks on/around the passenger side of my bezels. After seeing how easy this was, I'm quite disappointed in the dealer's handiwork. Thanks again for the video!
Thank you sir I appreciate that. I was wondering. I wanna donate for that. No one will really show you that. I can't believe how smooth that was. Sheesh.
Are you able to tell me what the wires do that have the grey connector? It’s the 3 green wires inside the small grey rectangle connector. I’m not sure what adapter to get for my new radio.
I have a 2014 4x4 Latitude. The stereo has a CD player. Both the radio and stereo doesn't work. Can I diy replace that with a digital touch screen? Will the car's dash housing unit/ wire connectors be compatible?
I have a 2009 Jeep Patriot sport and I have the factory radio I need to know what the two wires on the back of the radio are used for ? I have my after market all hooked up but have no sound of my speakers at all
My radio went all static one day and stayed that way, no damage to the antenna so I anticipated having to replace the whole head unit but is there something I can do with the antenna wire connection that might fix it?
It will be the same except for the wiring adaptor and what ever brackets abs trim ring the aftermarket requires for that specific vehicle. Thanks for watching and make sure to subscribe
+Sauny Wes you will need to find kit to fit your vehicle. The radio will come by itself. You will need to find a wiring adaptor and mounting bracket kit for your vehicle. The radio is generic.....the other items will make it work with your vehicle. I don't install aftermarket radios in vehicles at the dealership so you may need to do more research on all the items you will need. Thanks for subscribing
Help. I have a 2014 Jeep Patriot latitude with factory radio with Bluetooth and voice. I bought a mygig 430 u connect from a jeep on ebay. Radio wont turn on and cars lights flashing and headlights and car shuts off
I've got a USB in my glove that won't read anything I plug into it. It won't even charge my phone. It's part of the uconnect package, any idea after pulling the radio out where to look to see if it's plugged in correctly or damaged?
It may not be connected for some reason. They dont give much info on where they are routed or if any inline connectors. I recommend removing the glove box and start tracing the USB cord to see if you can track it down. Otherwise testing requires a special tester we have that plugs into the port to see if all the features are working. Thanks for the question and make sure to subscribe!
My Uconnect glitches out every 3/4 minutes with a error message several times then it says I need to update unconnect. I took it to the dealership and they changed one of the buttons on my steering wheel and that didn’t do a darn thing. Any suggestions?

Heck I’m a retired mechanic and wasn’t sure how to remove my malfunctioning radio without tearing up the dash! Looks easy once you know the trick.
Thank you sir I appreciate that. I was wondering. I wanna donate for that. No one will really show you that. I can't believe how smooth that was. Sheesh.

Should I disconnect the battery?
What is this stock size that you just removed
how do you enter the code for the new radio
Do this work for 2010 patriots ??

Never go to a stealership, they always screw you somehow.
what size the stereo i can replace 6.2" 6.5" 7" ?
Good question. I only get to deal with the stock size radios so I cant tell you for sure what space you have for anything aftermarket.
i have a 2009 jeep patriot sport
