Good Moring Ron! From one Pratt to another good job on everything. Found your channel a couple of weeks ago! I have been playing catch up on them. My name is Tracy Pratt from southern Illinois! was a farmer for years! I then retired (Early} from the City of Branson Branson Mo. One the things I did there was in charge of a road side mowing crew! Had one man killed and one injured. All because people wouldn't pull over! The driver who killed the worker went to prison. the other was a hit and run! the car stopped but when I approached it they took off and it all happened so fast no one got the plates! Be carful out there and God Bless! Keeping you and your family and all the drivers in our prayers!

•I’d also like to see the process of despooling a winch, and learn more about the winch and winch lines.
    • why & when-> to use chains vs rope.. maybe give some examples when you would use rope and when you’d use chains, and also tie down methods.

As to Molly, she went back for her first of 8 weekly check up's at the Vets, she had to be sedated, while the Vet removed the Fibreglass cast from her leg to check on the wound, and everything was as he hoped and expected, he was also pleased with the wound where he took the bone from her shoulder, all in all, Molly is doing well, she is not too happy at her strict Cage rest though, but it's the only way to ensure the bone graft will take, I thank you all for your kind words, for anyone interested in how well Molly is doing, I'm on facebook where I give regular updates on Molly, Thank You.

The "fog" on the lens reminded me of the hot muggy vacations in Indiana as a child. Could barely breathe (asthmatic). Would lay on the floor in front of a big box fan, couldn't get any cooler or drier. Outside the bugs would plaster themselves all over us! Fortunately in later years some people got air conditioning and would even run it! 😅. My husband and I visited in the fall, perfect time of the year.

@@genkatqltr8517 - yes, Ron explained in an earlier video that we would not be seeing much of Talon.
a job, which Talon apparently feels is better for him, opened up at the shop due to a sudden retirement due to a health issue and Talon chose to take the job and leave the road.
in case you didnt know, Midwest Truck has a full-service heavy truck repair garage and heavy trailer repair shop. Ron's parents own the whole business.

Glad you put out as many cones as you did. As I drove home tonight, I drove through a construction area and on the other side of the detour someone thought they could make it through the space between the cones and got one lodged in their wheelwell unable to turn they just blocked traffic! It's amazing. Stay safe out there!!!

My semi started to slide on the ice down the dock approach towards the Kalamazoo River while I was opening the trailer doors.......
.....Boy! Did this chubby boy run to throw a tire chalk down in front of the trailer tires and that worked.

Nothing makes a fat man move more then close to loosing his career due to an accident. I heard a story of a trucker who forgot to set his brakes. Truck started to roll down the hill towards the water. Ever want to see a fat man cover 60ft in less then 20 seconds thatll do it.

Great job on the recovery. The homeowner has a beautiful place. [wonder if the insurance company will total that truck? Lots of water, and (potential) damage to electronics and safety systems, not to mention engine/transmission...]
