For copper, use panning! I was hitting 10 hours (yeah mad) without any copper bits on ground zones, but took only 2 stacks of sand to get 40 copper bits by panning.

Hey Orion, sorry for the late reply! I'm sure you've figured it out by now, but you can mark the map by right clicking on it when you have it up (Press M to toggle the fullscreen map on).
I would appreciate a mod to skip the crafting minigame. If I can dig 2 cubic meters of dirt up in a few seconds I shouldn't be forced to play a minigame of draw in-between the lines for preschoolers. If the templates didn't exist my perspective might be different on that.
I love how much work it takes. True “crafting” simulation. Bet it feels satisfying once you have the final product.
4 years later after you posted this and im just now finding out this game has been out for this long. bought it and started playing it.
It's a great game, I haven't played it in a bit though, so I hope my tutorials still help!
