We absolutely love your programme😍 Maybe it’s time to start work on a big green house with extra cover in summer for the scorching sun. Just think about all the lovely veggies 😜 and Andy you should really look into creating some SWALES to keep the soil moist🙏🙏

We have a solar powered automatic opener on our chicken door...you set the time for it to open and close, suggest Wire mesh cover and sides or the hawks, snakes or rats will get the hens, hang the waterer and feeder from a post to keep out rats and to keep the water tidy and saves splashing, too! Love your channel

Suggestion. Build nest boxes on outside of the structure with little doors...easier access to gather eggs and no having to essentially crawl inside the hen house...use sticks or round pieces of wood nor square pieces of lumber for roots. To prevent bumble foot :)

The chickens will need a lot of space to wander around and eat natural food. The quality of your eggs will be related to the quality of what they eat so any plants, flowers, etc you have growing that they will eat, will help the quality of the eggs.

You deliver like clockwork each week and when that stopped I though that RUclips had done it. All's well that ends well, as they say, and you've saved me from having a nervous breakdown. I've seen people with mixed flocks, even bought eggs from one, but the eggs turn out all different sizes and the shells are different thicknesses making cracking them a bit dodgy. I've thought about chickens, but I have a lot of predators where I live, but if I get chickens they'll all be the same kind that lay large eggs.

Hey up, hope you enjoyed your rest, you’ve certainly earned it!..great idea to house chickens in there. We’d love to get some but our house is ex-council, originally sold off in the 80’s and it has a legal covenant in place which says chickens cannot be kept for 99 years after the sale from the council!..how mad is that lol 😂..we’re still hoping to relocate to Spain in 10-12 years so they’ll have to wait I guess. Enjoyed watching that, it’s so relaxing to watch your videos, I chilled out and watched with a nice glass of Spanish Rioja 👌👏🏼🇪🇸😀

    Hi to you both.
We have chickens and ours fly, can't keep them contained at all. They roost in the olive trees and in the very high roof of the stables. I think you may need to put a covering over the new chicken pen.
We live 60 kms south of Seville.

    • @pamela5568
