@@Teejaay1 EVs were popular for women and inexperienced drivers in the early days since they are so easy to drive. That hasnt changed for the most part.

damn that m5 must be tuned to hell to be able to gap the N and not even be in sport mode cause the N has the same 0-60 and quarter mile as a stock m5 comp.

How do you know the M5 wasn't in Sport Mode?
Of course the M5 has to be tuned. 0-100mph is near identical in both stock. After 100mph the M5 cs is a little bit faster, but it's really not much. Would be a very close race stock. M5 cs stock is gapping nothing to an ioniq 5n on ¼mile, maybe he would manage to win by a nose.
Lol 'tuned to hell' just Downpipes, intakes and Software and the M5 is a FULL SECOND faster than the Ioniq in the quartermile. Its funny how clueless EV fans are about cars.
That 5N driver had the same reaction time to me commenting on this video when it first came out.

Keep dreaming, your EV turd would have lost even with a better driver or better settings against the stuff he lost to here (eg de R8 and the M5). On top of that, wait till you see your Korean EV crap race on anything longer than 1/4 mile. They'd have to put you on suicide watch.

I was hoping to see the times for the Ioniq N.
The advantage of the IONIQ 5N is circuit cornering and long-lasting brakes rather than drag racing.

Pretty sure that’s not a Plaid but rather it is a Model S Long Range
But it smoked the 5N. I know the LR is very fast, but probably not fast enough to smoke the 5N.

0-100km/h is time and not equal with distance!!! EC car in 1/8 mile has advantage, specially in not treated surface like this track, but here is the main thing mostly the better reaction time.

Plaid is a killer, awd 1020hp 8 years of warranty, with the maintance cost of a toyota yaris. Best daily ever. I switched from m3 g80. It was not suitable for daily use, too hard bouncy low chassis, more expensive maintenance. Of course, sound is missing, but the instant brutal torque makes up for it.

Cheating! Currently the fastest production electric SUV on the Pikes Peak is the Ioniq 5N(10:49.267). The Ioniq5N unfortunately missed out on the honor of being the fastest production SUV (2018 Bentley 10:48.902) by only 0.365s. Ioniq 5N TA (9:30.852) is currently the fastest electric modified SUV on the mountain. For reference, the previous production electric car record was Model 3 Performance(11:02.802), and the previous modified electric car record was Model 3 Performance(9:54.901). The previous fastest production car is BMW M8(10:12.024) not Porshe. Porshe 911 turbo S did cheat by running on a cold day in Sept. 2022. No one guaranteed Porshe compatible to RULE FOR PRODUCTION CAR.
