Dear Mr Steele, I'm 72, in many ways you are a role model for me. Enjoying your flights all these years, It's the reason I fly. Your're a good man! Keep it up!
I will Have to Agree with what’s Said Above. You Got me into this Hobby. You Got me Into Building as well.. I remember all your old live Streams. I’ve literally Watched your Channel since you where building in the basement of your Parents Good Times.. I’ve never got the chance to fly with you or meet you. I’m more of a Hermit u could say. I grew up racing my whole life. Then my mother got sick so I had to find a hobby in doors. This was the hobby I found because of you. Just wanna Thank you for keeping me Sane during tough times. TnLocal
Mate I haven’t flown about 6 months- dunno why, haven’t watched hardly ANY fpv vids after years of living for fpv, this is the first thumbnail in a long time that has me having that warm fuzzy feeling again 🤝 thank you mate and hello to any one who knows me 🤗
I just want to say thanks for sending me down my path as a drone engineer. You inspired me back in 2014 to play with drones and it changed my whole life. Lots of great memories and a really cool job today, all because of your drone video RUclips recommendet me 10 years ago!
Please please please just keep doing what you have always done. You are the reason I got into fpv and its still my favourite thing to do. I remember my younger brother and myself staying up all night building our first quads following along to your alien build video. It was a great bonding moment between us and it will never be forgotten. I will always value your content. Keep rippin 🤙
I have flown long range a few times and I have mad respect for those that pursue that aspect of the hobby. There is a huge feeling of risk of loss. Sustaining the focus required to fly FPV for that long of a duration under so much pressure is a challenge.
You are the reason I got into the hobby! Your videos have been a huge help over the years, and you’re a pretty awesome guy as well :-) keep up the good work!🎉
Keep on being the living legend you are. Hope to fly with you someday. Taking a break to work on other areas of my life but plan on diving deep into FPV by the fall of 24 or spring 25. What a time to be alive.
Great video! At 62 most of my peers don't quite get what I do but it doesn't matter. I like the 7 inch and it would complement my fleet of 7inch drones I have now! Good job plugging it. Best wishes in 2024!
Always enjoy your content, and yes you have been an inspiration for the last five or so years, tuned into fpv in 2/2020 and haven't looked back, after three previous years of dji mavics' etc.. Now 77!
Hey Mr Steele, awesome build, it's great to see a 7" rip like that, I feel bad for your Google battery though😂 I've been flying since 2014, had a disco very cool to see that in the edit. I've been following you since the RR days watching you rip with Chad N (from Australia here) and the crew. Watching you flying has keep me going all these years. Thanks man!
Loved your content from day one. In fact I pulled the trigger on fpv after seeing some Steele freestyle videos on RUclips a few years back, so happy to help feed the algorithm. Also I don’t own a 7 inch quad. Hadn’t really considered one because of weight bs but I love the way that thing flew and sounded.
Hey Steele - thanks for the video. A question if I may: just curious why 4s? At the end of a long flight 4 x 3.3volts (for arguments sake) is 13.2 volts, whereas 6 x 3.3v is 19.8v. This idea obviously becomes way more relevent if your having a hard time getting home (e.;g. the wind changed) and you have to push your packs to save your quad - e.g. push your packs down to 2.x volts or whatever. What I'm getting at is at the end of a long flight with the same watt hours you can deliver more volts to your motors and maybe that will be the edge you need to get home. TBS lists the Konasty motors as 6s. (I haven't tried them yet I still have 3 sets of flying EFAW 2407s on my 6/7"). Are you using 4s because you just happened to have that 4s battery available when you were flying Everest so that is how you built your formula?
4s can theoretically be more efficient considering everything else constant. However batteries are a huge limiting factor, hence you won't see that efficiency gain in practice. There's no reason to use 4s instead of 6s or 8s on bigger quads.
And people called me nuts for wanting to build a 6" on 4s lol. The 7" frame but with 5" props like this one in the vid will provide a lot of stability I guess, wich is great.
Great formula on the build, I’m going to have to try it out. This could be a good multi use build. With the high KV motors. One might want to throw 6” props and a higher voltage pack for some ripping freestyle. Having different PID profiles would be a must if going that route. Great test flight for the video. 👍
A seven inch for a 5 inch freestyle pilot.. exactly what I need. I've tried to explain this type of build to friends so many times. But you always get led down the mad scientist road. Like bro I just want to casually landscape surf sometimes.. chill. I'm sold. I've had my eye on this frame but didn't know where to start with the build. I know five in quads well. But not these. Good look
"BleH MrStEve you sAiD bNah MnAh NaH naH " - just quoting you from 18:57 on the video 😂 Seriously, thanks for helping out the community with sharing your ongoing testing like you do. We know you do this for a living, but you're good at it so I guess everyone wins? 🙂
flying my Apex LR7 with 2807 1500kv motors and 4S 5000mah (tattu bashing 50C) or 6S 3300mah 45C). I have some motor output limit in 6S. Love this setup. Only downside that the bottom isn't flat and I love mounting these large batteries at the bottom, to free up the antenna, and have a full size gopro on top. I still need to design a print to make the bottom flat, will do when I have some free time BTW minutes of fly time means nothing to me, if I fly FPV it's to go fast and far, not hover for X minutes lol. Last good flight with my ApexLR was 10km in 6 minutes haha 100km/h average.
Love my FR7. Barely fly much 5” anymore as just where I like to be. Nice to see you going into the seven inch zone. The apex looks sweet with the seven inch arms.
you are really steel ...mr steele's still it is unique and consistent...i just enjoy to watch and learn new things from because i know it is different than everything else but works good🙂
Thank you! Pls keep this going. I fly both Apex X and DC and I absolutely freaking love them. Though I cant really afford them LOL but I'm someone who go for the finer things in life. I look at things in sickass detail(more often than not, sometimes i think its a curse)Thank you for bringing the quality, the time spent in designing a quad thats even awesome to just hold and look at. FPV would be kinda mundane without Mr.Steele. yewwww.
I mean, it really is the truth - ditching The Formula for this type of thing can end up being a LOOOOOONNNNG journey. I spent literal years (with a moving target and a very specific goal) basically getting 5/6/7/8" to work for long/mid-range. While I did enjoy what I learned, it was an immense amount of time that I wouldn't have now, so products like this that have been vetted by you are honestly a pretty big deal. thanks for doing the hard work :)
Yoo Mr Steve.. that was great, i love what you do, 4 years of following you now since i saw you slapped a sticker on that office block window! Great beard btw and my tash is still growing strong 😄💪🏻👊🏻👊🏻
saleman... i tough i was watching an fpv pilot talking about the stuff he like. well that change the perspective of thing in regard of your channel ! you still kickass as a pilote btw :)
Great video. I can only seem to get about 1/4 mile with 03 compared to 3 miles with the DJI Air unit....same setup, şame location. Could I get further?
The internet going have a melt down only 30c battery not enough amps .. alot of ppl always forget it's a multiple of the ah and this pack will have more amp output than ya 100c 1300mah ( well at least when your old battery was new . Doing darn well considering how much love u have given it )

Still here, still watching and still enjoying your content . Keep up the good work pal your doing a great job.
Haters gonna hate. Keep on keeping on and inspiring the FPV community.

Yeah when it flies so far up and away it gives you "reverse vertigo" cause you're on the ground, its the one up in the sky.
I built that 7! Glad you like it!
I supervised him while he built it!
I told him go seven or go home
I was the guy who made the guy who built that 7
And neither of you had seen that the molded standoffs are pointless or that the props are in view with the o3 in wide. Good job you guys.😂
@@PopGheorghegenuine question, what do you like in 7”, it kinda feels like a bit of a minefield to me, I don’t know where to draw a balance 🤷♂️
Man love the sound of that 7inch. Keep on sending it my dude. And thanks for the great products you dream up.
You are the reason I got into the hobby! Your videos have been a huge help over the years, and you’re a pretty awesome guy as well :-) keep up the good work!🎉
Thank you thank you. I hope I was able
To help you navigate the seas of FPV info 😂
Love the 7”. Love the Volvo. Happy today to you sir.
youre the fpv goat in my eyes man! watching all your videos through covid got me into fpv! favourite pilot. videos have been dope!!
🙏🏼.
Awesome video Steele! This 7" build is super solid, hope many of you get a chance to fly it!
Mr. "Steele" is a flat, lazy shit-eater.

@@MrSteeleFPV Hello Mr Steele can you please help me how can I buy this bundle drone and all your stuff in Europe I'm from Slovakia?? thank you
My favorite drone right now is a AOS 7" with 2810 motors and 3300mah 6s battery.
Always enjoy your content, and yes you have been an inspiration for the last five or so years, tuned into fpv in 2/2020 and haven't looked back, after three previous years of dji mavics' etc.. Now 77!
I like how you can hear the drone whizz by with extra intensity at 11:50
It's been wonderful following you all these years, keep it up!!!
Immediately noticed the new roof. looks sick 🔥

I have the apex Evo 7 on 4s with kiss ultra and I love it for long range ❤
Thanks Mr Steev!!😉😉
Always love riding along on your videos! Keep up the great work! :-)
Please keep doing what you doing.
I enjoy all your videos.
💪🙏🏼
Interesting approach of going 4s when everybody is sticking on 6s, also on the motor size
It is the Ferrari of LR Ethix!
You The Man-O-Steele! Thanks 👍👍😜🤣😁😎
Love watching you fly Mr Steele, thank you for sharing🤘🏻
Awesome view! Thanks for bringing me up so high❤

I’ve got a 7” Alex with 2808 motors. Thing is possessed.
That 7” rips! I have MS and can’t walk. Thanks for your inspirational vids! Flying is better than walking!!
Thank you for the information. I'll be watching more of your videos soon. Struggling on what to buy for my gopro. 7 inch seems the way to go.

Love it!! Time to start ordering some parts. You got me again. Already have and apex evo 6s 5”. Time for a 7”. 😝😜🤪
Awesome 👍 What a beautiful aircraft and a sick grocery getting! Cheers bro!
Im runnin the Konasty Ethix 2507 1750kv's on 6s on the 6inch Apex frame with 6x4x3 props and it rips!!!!!
Another cool Clip about FPV to enjoy! 👍 I like your style and attitude, keep going, mate!
And people called me nuts for wanting to build a 6" on 4s lol.

Love the beard and a new style bro!!! Fits you brilliantly. All the best in 2024 ❤
I didn’t buy the RTF--- but I’ve got one to make ready to fly and now this is my tutorial!🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Comment for the algorithm 😉👍🏻
You’re the GOAT
Thanks man
Got a 7 inch chameleon ATM. Flying great but love this new build.. ❤
Great formula on the build, I’m going to have to try it out. This could be a good multi use build.
With the high KV motors. One might want to throw 6” props and a higher voltage pack for some ripping freestyle.
Having different PID profiles would be a must if going that route.
Great test flight for the video.
👍
Sounds nice and quiet as well. 👍👍
Very nice Quad, I like the flight time. enjoyed the flight. Need to build one, too. 😁👍
sweet. I always recommend the Evo to new pilots. Solid frame and just flat out works.
Your builds are awesome my dude!! Thank you for sharing the knowledge!! Keep on rippin 🔥 🔥

Cool build man. A solid freestyle 7 inch option. 👍
Nice. Not having the weight and cross sectional area of the GoPro on there certainly helps with flight time and responsiveness.

Awesome 😮
I also have the exact same TBS disco batts from 2013. good to know they still rip lol
Nice flight. TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE LOLVO!
21700 Molicel 4200mah 45 A burst
the intro story 😂😂 omg I can’t wait to try this though!
Flies just as good as the cheaper non steel version. Flies just as good as the clone too
Still my favorite keep it up 👍
I made an liion 6s2p battery pack and put it on my 5inch and it gave me 10-15min of long range cruising, but still thinking about some 6-7inch 😏😁
That was cool as hell bro
Great video. I can only seem to get about 1/4 mile with 03 compared to 3 miles with the DJI Air unit....same setup, şame location. Could I get further?
