A closet full of notebooks is as close to heaven as I can imagine one. I was gifted the silliest looking notebook from my son's friend for Christmas - think fidget meets notebook - and I jumped right into it as my everything notebook. I was ready for something new, but not willing to buy at the time, and so I saw it as a sign that this was the notebook to start the new year in.
ITS SO RELIEVING TO KNOW SOMEONE ELSE HAS AN ACCUMULATION OF NOTEBOOKS. I LOVE ALL THE THINGS. I ACTUALLY JUST WENT THRU ALL MY NOTEBOOKS AND GAVE SOME TO MY 7YO WHOM IS A WONDERFUL ARTIST AND CAN NEVER HAVE ENOUGH PAPER TO DRAW ON. YAY FOR CHALLENGING YOURSELF WITH A NOTEBOOK CHALLENGE
That's actually what I'm planning. Using a notebook for every book I write and put everything in there. From first idea to plotting, character development, cover ideas, conversations with agents until it' published :) That way I have everything in one place and not spread over different writing bullet journals. This is impeccable timing, Sarra-I spent all day yesterday decluttering and rearranging my own notebook collection, haha! In any case, I’m glad I’m not alone in the “omg I’ll ruin it if I write in it” department. Trying to get over that,but it’s taking baby steps 😅 Your video inspired me to take on the notebook challenge, and I’ve got a couple of ideas, including a gratitude journal, a study journal, a character profile book, and of course, a few commonplace books for when I have ideas on the go. I just finished watching this and oh my gosh!!! I wish I had a whole notebook closet for my notebooks. I mean I don’t have a lot but I think that’s awesome. After seeing you flip through the archer and olive notebooks I had to see for myself and instantly fell in love with all the different sizes that they offer. I definitely will have to get one during their next sale after I use the ones that I picked for this quarter.

This is my first notebook challenge, and I've started a story analysis journal. Recently I've gotten back into reading, and realized I struggle with writing the middle of my stories, so I made a place for me to write out key moments and where they fall in a story to help me understand where and how to improve my own writing.
Archer and Olive is one of my favorite notebook brands 😍 I’m beginning to branch out (been keeping up with my Happy Planner!), but Archer and Olive I think will always be my favorite. Good luck to everyone entering for the GORGEOUS notebook!

I wanted to say a big thank you for giving great advice from writing, manifesting, to organization/notebook challenges. I like you have so many notebooks and planners. Stationary has always been a comfort thing for me, so my collection has grown over the years. You have inspired me to get out my collection and I've started using them more and more notebooks and planners in all sorts of ways.
We each have our own main collection that brings us join. Though mine are books, my planning collection is still not small 😅. So glad that you were able to organize your notebook collection to your own taste, and keeping said notebook challenge real. I’m also making my Sterling Ink B6 planner as my journal and hadn’t used a lot of its features since I’d been focusing on the blank pages. I think I’m all set for the year, but I do plan to add a junk journal just to help with my creativity and use my stash. But that junk journal is not in a rush to be created and I plan to have it started whenever I feel like it. Have a great start to 2023 🎉!
There's something about the change of the year that makes us want to clear our spaces, isn't it? I started small and then I continue to clear out more and more. It's overwhelming but then, on the other side of it, I feel refreshed. And there's of course space for another notebook :D
Your closet looks so great! I too have a fear of “ruining “ notebooks. On a recent trip I bought one for story inspiration, and I still haven’t done anything with it. It’s so pretty and unique that I am afraid of messing it up. But I am committing to doing it! Thanks for the inspiration! I grew up very poor, so sometimes I have a hard time justifying the expense of pretty notebooks. But I do love them and want to get over that limiting belief. 📕❤️we are worth it!

Omg I literally spent this morning unpacking 36 years of journals and trying to figure out how many bookshelves I'll need to organize them! It's a blessing and a curse as a writer. I don't find digital storage usable when I want to reference things in my past.

I’ve wanted to update the closet in my office (smallest bedroom in our house) from the current wire-framed clothes hanging setup to one that is more useful to store my resource books, notebooks, office supplies, craft supplies, etc. I’d not considered a more bookshelf approach, and your video sealed the deal for me! I hadn’t imagined how much joy it would give me to have my closet not only appear organized but also feel as if it were an extension of the room-game changer!. I’m inspired! you have been an inspiration over the years for me to also go through my notebooks. and this year i finallllllllly had to buy a new one because i actually ran out (which is crazy, i had so many bullet journal notebooks that i never used), love this challenge and it's crazy to think about how its already been a few years!
For a long time, I too feared to mess up my notebooks or not being worthy enough to use them at that time. I was always telling myself I needed to use them for special occasions or when I would have achieved X goal until I realized that life was passing by and the blank pages were sadder than pages that-while maybe not perfect-were filled with ideas and discoveries for this is what life is. Also, Love how you organized the closet! Proof that you can never have too many notebooks ☺
I love how your notebook closet looks! I'm using the blackout Halloween Archer and Olive as my bullet journal for 2023. I finally realized I can't do weekly spreads to plan because I just don't plan that way. One monthly task list works best for me. Super excited for my bullet journal this year.
I'm using my Hobonichi Cousin as my primary planner where the weekly sections are for my thoughts after writing for the day. I'm also using a Hobonichi Weeks (a carryover from 2022) to document my word counts. In all, I have two places to document my writing thoughts until April when the Weeks is finished. While watching this, I did realize I need to start a story inspiration journal again since I've watched a lot of movies and TV shows where I'm getting inspired.
Perfect timing! I'm such an information "junkie", and I've found that I take notes on EVERYTHING in sooooo many places....I'm also in the mindset of consolidating notebooks so I can actually FIND what I've written! 🙂

I ADORE Archer and Olive notebooks. the 192 pages I have now is my journal/daily page that I'm using. the top is Affirmation. I draw a circle and write about moon cycles and what to work on during that part of the cycle. Next to that I write 7 lines of what I want to Manifest. Under that is a rectangle for my tarot card drawn and next to that is what the card means and how it might apply to my day. Underneath it all is a section for me to work on to do for today.
I love Archer and Olive, my son who is now 5 is named Archer so i'm especially fond of them. Loved your haul! And great job on organizing the closet. It came out so good!

That planner closet both scares me and excites me! I don't have that kind of storage where i live, so it would be a dream to have a space dedicated to just notebooks and planners! I've also been eying off Archer & Olive for a while, but been hesitant - this might be the push I need to invest in these journals next year!
I loved seeing your entire Archer & Olive haul - I have one A&O notebook that my friend gifted to me a couple years ago and I open it up about twice a year to *finally* use it and never do. It's too precious, probably the most expensive notebook I own. 😂
Okay, just a suggestion.... use the moon cover journal as your witchy journal!!!! That journal is perfect for writing all the witchy stuff!! All the notebooks are so pretty!!! You are living my dream I am telling you! 😄

Great job on reorganizing the closet. I just joined the Archer & Olive quarterly subscription, after seeing a bullet journal channel using them. I’m really excited about using some of their journals. I’d love to get one of the Neapolitan one in the future.
It's interesting that you mention losing pages when using the Happy Planner while plotting. I was thinking of using a ring binder for some plotting myself. I figured having the flexibility of being able to move around pages would help me keep things more organized rather than having to flip back and forward between ideas/stories. I will definitely keep in mind the challenges of having movable parts in a plotting notebook

I'm working on my planner for January and always come to see what you're up to! LOL I'm determined to get this draft done this month. I'm halfway there with more than 25k words (first romance novel). I have your writing planner from Etsy and organized it last night. I'm determined to write a series and this year is the year I get it done. Thanks for sharing so much on your channel. I ADORE Archer and Olive notebooks. the 192 pages I have now is my journal/daily page that I'm using. the top is Affirmation. I draw a circle and write about moon cycles and what to work on during that part of the cycle. Next to that I write 7 lines of what I want to Manifest. Under that is a rectangle for my tarot card drawn and next to that is what the card means and how it might apply to my day. Underneath it all is a section for me to work on to do for today.
I am finally using one of the most beautiful notebooks I own and embracing the imperfections of using it!!

That planner closet both scares me and excites me! I don't have that kind of storage where i live, so it would be a dream to have a space dedicated to just notebooks and planners! I've also been eying off Archer & Olive for a while, but been hesitant - this might be the push I need to invest in these journals next year!
I loved seeing your entire Archer & Olive haul - I have one A&O notebook that my friend gifted to me a couple years ago and I open it up about twice a year to *finally* use it and never do. It's too precious, probably the most expensive notebook I own. 😂
Okay, just a suggestion.... use the moon cover journal as your witchy journal!!!! That journal is perfect for writing all the witchy stuff!!

Great job on reorganizing the closet. I just joined the Archer & Olive quarterly subscription, after seeing a bullet journal channel using them. I’m really excited about using some of their journals. I’d love to get one of the Neapolitan one in the future.

It's interesting that you mention losing pages when using the Happy Planner while plotting. I was thinking of using a ring binder for some plotting myself. I figured having the flexibility of being able to move around pages would help me keep things more organized rather than having to flip back and forward between ideas/stories. I will definitely keep in mind the challenges of having movable parts in a plotting notebook

I love Archer & Olive I have a beautiful TN sized I use for memory keeping (after keeping it on my shelf for two years... I can´t get Archer & Olive in Denmark, so I was holding on for dear life😂😂 - but no more😅) and I love having it in my hands every day🙂
