Alfred got his rerun just last month so i think they didnt put him here because of that but yeah ganglot is a big surprised here that she wasn't here and i really want her for my V!effie😫
do people really not understand why ganglot isnt rerun on this? ganglot is a garbage trash unit, BUT SHES THE ONLY MELEE INFANTRY REARMED UNIT IN THE GAME. One of the unit types that gets some of the most broken skills, it literally doesnt matter how garbage ganglot is or how bad her rearmed weapon/ her inheritable skills are, what matter is the skill duplikation that is possible with ganglot. you can literally give all godsword skills to your ganglot (skills like godlike reflexes or repel 4) AND YOU LITERALLY HAVE A GODWORD PRINTER ON HAND EVERYTIME YOU PULL A GANGLOT.
Well if they don't regret them, put them on good banners. Don't color share them, put multiples on the same banner, higher rates, etc. This year for A Hero Rises, I would be stunned if the winners don't just end up being 4 rearmed heroes
On the plus side, I got Ascended Fir for the first time, as a free summon. So yeah, that's something, I guess. (Wonder what the Seasonal Banner will look like? Hmm...)
It's funny to me how you're surprised Tacho. I mean you of ppl are well aware of how valuable Ganglot is + how absolutely terrible Intsys usually are at trying to damage control powercreep. Though with that said, am I shocked that they didn't bother to at least include Alfred or Ingrid as a sub. Looks we really are gonna have to rely on some choice Legend & Mythic banners to see Ganglot again until the devs finally get over themselves🤷🏿♂️

Ganglot only exists so people can't rightfully blame IS for not providing any rearmed unit that can inherit Godsword skills like Close Call and such. They don't intend to actually let you use this. They will likely pull another fallen chrome however so be very careful when they actually put her back on a banner and wait until the last day before you summon. They might release a better unit directly afterwards.
Oh Jesus i forgot about Ganglöt i actually wondered when there began a mentions about infantry melee rearmed unit like who it actually is because i never even got one lol
Thank God I only want red fodder, phys nfu and a rearmed are kinda what I want (Also the nfu of Devour is speed based so it isn't really the best for slow units, so depends on if you want DR and Special excel or guard, GFU and enemy follow up denial)
Even so, its still probably better for slow units. The no stat check DR% on the first hit and special ramp are pivotal for bait options, more than just getting guard which is easily available as a throw in on other good skills
I free pulled an Ascended Fir. Now I can slap on +SPD on my Arete. Now waiting for Desperation 4 and maybe something like SPD/RES Menace on her C-Slot to make her terrifying.
IS tend to be pretty tone deaf as to why people like or dislike something, so I wouldn't be surprised if the reason Ganglot doesn't rerun again for 84 years is because they know she's a mediocre unit that nobody liked (ignoring her fodder potential as inf rearmed). As for why it's Lif again, I think it's the exact same reason A!Fjorm has been on every ascendant banner since her release 2 years ago, they're the first of their kind, no further reasoning as far as I can conceive. And I'm willing to bet they would've put Grima on this banner as well (being that she's the third) if it weren't because she got like 5 banners in the past month, and as someone with a +10 Grima project, I couldn't be happier having my orbs rest after that... Besides, I think it's a blessing in disguise, Ganglot is such a mediocre unit that it may just be better to wait until an actually usable rearmed infantry comes out even if she reran here.
I immediately looked at the green pool the moment I saw rearmed. As expected I was disappointed.. Not that Lif is useless (specially when you team him Atk hold flyers) but come one he had way too many appearance already. So yeah it's obvious they regret this type of unit 😂
IS realized how strong they've made these newer Arcane weapons and the skill duplication trick on Rearmed units we've been doing, so now they're being stingy with reruns. 🙃🙃🙃

Maybe I'm alone here, but I was super excited to get A!Fir as she's the perfect fodder for my +10 L!Chrom. So I wanted 1 Fir... Tl;Dr I got 2 Lifs and my 6th off focus A!Joshua instead. Thank god for sparks, but I'm kinda pissed to have waisted so many orbs. Now I'm hoping we're getting some good cav fodder to dublicate it with my Lif.
Should've used the Basement Theme from RE1 Director's Cut Dualshock Edition, that's how bad this is. On the bright side, at least they've ran Rearmed Ophelia, who has god-tier fodder and stockpile potential.

I mean at leeeast it is the first time ALL heroes are Ascended Heroes … and Rearmed Líf. The last two times there were also other Normal Pool Heroes in it (four in the first, two in the second)… so I guess it is a slow progress… So next time two Rearmed Heroes? XD But yeah this banner is still sth like… there are only three heroes in here that appeared the first time in those kind of banners: Fir, Eir and Celica… the other five were already in a previous one and in terms of Ishtar she now is/was on EVERY single damn one of them lol.

I have so many copies of lif now (courtesy of the last of these banners) that I started putting a lot of the cavflier exclusives on him. Flared Sparrow, Flow Desparation, alarm, etc. It does make him a decent skill repo when I don't need G4/GB4 on a unit.
You can do that, yeah. All the other rearmed heroes have at least one desirable skill or weapon on their base kits though, which is why its funny they ran Lif twice on this 😂
I was expecting something more like Alfred. I guess this banner has a free spark compared to the hero fest banner but it's not like there have'nt been good banners with sparks recently. We had that double rearmed banner with engage, the CYL and the remix banners are coming too. Those last ones might be the reason they gave this rearmed unit, because those will probably have other ones.
There is no way NFU is better than Auto follow up and follow up negation for slow units. Someone like Zephiel, for example, would be completely useless with devourer. Lif's fodder is not good but he's far from being useless. I agree with everything else though. I'm inclined to say they didn't think the fodder duplication through.
Actually, Zephiel DOES work better with Devourer, lol. The special acceleration with -1 special trigger is super favorable for Hardy Fighter + Pavise/Aegis, and you just get guard from the A slot passive with either a dual stance or Fireflood Boost 3. Then he still gets the 40% flat DR on the first hit. Omni-breaker is also easily accessible for armors in the B slot if you prefer to go for Vengeful Fighter 4, and then the special acceleration helps with Armored Beacon/Floe.
Honestly Tacho's right here. Even discarding everything he's commented above with accelerated Hardy Special DR or Armored B/F, 40% DR, and more stats, guaranteed follow-Ups just have no value anymore as practically 99% of all units you encounter nowadays have NFU. Even tanks, cus they'll probably get it from their supports giving them NFU as a bonus or drive. GFU is just completely useless at this point.
I summoned my 40 copies on the hero fest banner thinking it was free spark because I wanted an 'easy' merge for my R!Grima and it turned out to be feh pass only spark 🤡 spent my orbs in vain
This banner is kind of baffling, but at least they stuck to the schedule and are holding Elincia back for the September remix, so I have more time to build up orbs to get more copies of her. (I don't know why I was even worried about that; if they'd stuck her on here, they would have had to put Tana on the remix, and she's on a Legendary banner RIGHT NOW. I just was.) A shame about Idunn and Ishtar and Joshua being on here, since I wouldn't have minded merges for them, but there will be other times. The ironic thing about Lif is that I have never actually managed to summon him.
Only reason I'd even be lightly tempted to summon is for A!Fir just cause I don't have her yet, but with all the amazing banners out rn, yeah this ain't cutting it. Seriously IS just start putting Ganglot and Alfred on some of these neither of them are setting the world on fire it won't break anything to chuck them in, hell with how many people want the arcane downfall you'll probably get more money from putting them out again
Thats not for arcane downfall but for duplicating the fodders haha and that's why they dont want to put her so very often because they dont want us to duplicate on every single infantry unit a god tier skills haha But honestly I'd rather IS makes FINALLY a normal axe rearmed unit weapon because I struggle and yearn to give my Dedue some actually good inheritable axe but nothing what anyone of an axe can inherit appeals to me because I really want to make armored beacon and great damage reduction Dedue set up but it's just that hard since he doesn't have a Prf weapon with a good acceleration in it and DR also in his weapon but i really want that

Ganglot is the only melee infantry rearmed hero as of right now. This means every copy of her allows you to duplicate the powerful melee infantry exclusive skills you inherit onto her which you can then inherit to godswords/axes/lances
Pretty much what icemythic said and as an addendum, "god" units are the most abundant and available to build. Its not like Rearmed Grima for instance, where there are only a few Dragon/Armors worth building, and none of them are F2P friendly options either
I must be doing something wrong with the rearmed units since I just give the fodder they give straight to who I wish but, I still have to get the skills in order to fodder the better skills. Idk I just try to make the most out of 1 rearmed unit if that makes sense

Yeah, this is banner isn't all too appealing, but if the new seasonal banner doesn't interest me then I might go for Lif here. He doesn't have anything I want anymore but I can use him to duplicate gambit 4.

Yeah this is why I don't support them. I am happy to spend money on gachas when I feel like the players are being treated well. But I've never felt that way in FEH and I've been playing since day 1

And R! banner and got nothing at all im on the werge of deleting my main account but i cannot see it being actually done because i spent so much time and loved that game actually but its just less joy of late...it isn't how game supposed to be like...they are supposed to be fun to play and not a burden and annoying...

Don't agree with your take on lif since i Don't find him to nearly as crap as your making him out to be. Not to mention his weapon is still good even more so when you forgot that the nfu effect is speed based so no slow unit will ever make use of that. Beyond that though it is silly that they only have one rearmed on the banner again.
I did an entire video on builds for F2P sword merge project and not a single unit was given Arcane Eljudnr. Its just... not good. I just find it hilarious they did Lif twice in a row on the same banner, when everybody mocked them the first time about it being called Ascended and Rearmed heroes yet there only being one Rearmed hero 😂

Edit: I think IS has FINALLY realized that powercreep has gone way too far, and the way they wanted to fix it may have somewhat diminished variety due to (at least from what I've seen) most book 3/4 units running arcanes due to it being better than most book 3/4 prfs

Fortunately i duped Gambit4 onto my cav rearmeds, so I don't even mind the RLif 😂 but i do wish they had tried to equalize with ophelia or ganglot or even chrom, at least.

Ganglot is the only melee infantry rearmed hero as of right now. This means every copy of her allows you to duplicate the powerful melee infantry exclusive skills you inherit onto her which you can then inherit to godswords/axes/lances
Pretty much what icemythic said and as an addendum, "god" units are the most abundant and available to build. Its not like Rearmed Grima for instance, where there are only a few Dragon/Armors worth building, and none of them are F2P friendly options either
I must be doing something wrong with the rearmed units since I just give the fodder they give straight to who I wish but, I still have to get the skills in order to fodder the better skills. Idk I just try to make the most out of 1 rearmed unit if that makes sense
@@aeolus15dual phase impact+nfu= too busted for i.s. to release often that combination is busted because it almost completely guarantees that the foe's follow-up attacks will never see the light of day while at the same time you get to keep your follow up attacks and if you choose to put on vital astra you can double trigger it on player phase image the the foe getting hit with 2x vital astra's in one combat.🤔🤨🧐
Yeah, this is banner isn't all too appealing, but if the new seasonal banner doesn't interest me then I might go for Lif here. He doesn't have anything I want anymore but I can use him to duplicate gambit 4.

Yeah this is why I don't support them. I am happy to spend money on gachas when I feel like the players are being treated well. But I've never felt that way in FEH and I've been playing since day 1

And R! banner and got nothing at all im on the werge of deleting my main account but i cannot see it being actually done because i spent so much time and loved that game actually but its just less joy of late...it isn't how game supposed to be like...they are supposed to be fun to play and not a burden and annoying...
I do think they regret it, since rearmed literally makes old units viable and thats not making money xD
Yeah, shows how much they hate their player base too. They did something good and generous for once with rearmed heroes, and then felt the need to get greedy about them

@@darkdragonXD1 Nah, I would have to say they hate us. They make no efforts to promote the game, make it more accessible to newcomers, try to clean up weapon and skill descriptions, drip feed currency, give us rubbish fodder skills on F2P units, etc.

Don't agree with your take on lif since i Don't find him to nearly as crap as your making him out to be. Not to mention his weapon is still good even more so when you forgot that the nfu effect is speed based so no slow unit will ever make use of that. Beyond that though it is silly that they only have one rearmed on the banner again.
I did an entire video on builds for F2P sword merge project and not a single unit was given Arcane Eljudnr. Its just... not good.
I just find it hilarious they did Lif twice in a row on the same banner, when everybody mocked them the first time about it being called Ascended and Rearmed heroes yet there only being one Rearmed hero 😂
