- I show a new detailing hack I use with Gtechniq Easy Coat to make it last much longer and use to help make drying easier. We also go over the normal instructions which should be used for the first application and maintenance applications.

Yes my friend it was helpful , tried Easy Coat for the first time 2 weeks ago , Amazon in UK had it for 3 for £15 which is really cheap ,normally £15 - £17 for 1 . Did my car and use the rest as a drying aid and it works really good !

I've bought a few bottles of the megs and I've been using it on my wheels. I haven't tried easy coat yet but looks good. Been using sonax spray and seal. Might have to check that stuff out
you can stack this on top of other coatings as well. Has really good dirt repelling properties as well.

I use it after every wash. Makes drying much easier with the leaf blower.
Hi, great hack and nice video. The channel content is great and very useful in general. Thank you. Have you played with other dilutions (1:10 or 1:15)? It would be nice to see a video showing the different dilutions applied to sections of a panel and determine what would be the best dilution to use. It would also be great to see a comparison between Easy Coat (with the hack) and Gyeon Wet Coat / Carpro Hydro2 Lite.
I have used Gyeon Wet Coat in the past and both very similar except Gyeon has no dilution. I have used Easy Coat full strength on windows. If I go on a long trip and it’s raining I pull the car out and apply full and let the rain rinse it off as I’m driving. I have done 5:1 on the surface and works, but the benefit is not as much as you would think. It bonds with the water on the surface so only so much water to go around. I have heard some use full strength on the surface, but that takes away from the cost factor of diluting 20:1. You are good as long are not doing in the sun and you rinse off very quickly.

stack the coating layers. Once a month at the least for application. I use at least once a week sometimes more. I put 50ml in a solo battery powered sprayer and fill up with 950ml of DI water then spray on everything then rinse off using low pressure. Wheels, tires, trim, seals, windows and paint. Why haven’t I seen anyone talking about easy coat, only seen the video from Chicago detailing
Their products sell really well and get sold out all the time and it is weird though to not see many reviews or torture tests for it.

That sucks, I don't miss the North much just for that reason. Hasn't snowed here, but its been 45 degrees or less for a few weeks so have not washed either.

What is the difference between this protectant and 303 spray?
I don't think there is much of a difference. Both are spray and rinse. The Gtechniq works best on Gtechniq coatings and it does have the hose nozzle that makes application easier so you dont have to do a panel at a time. It also gets the coating in to all of gaps around doors, etc.. I have not used 303, but have seen videos on it and heard its a good product.

Can you see inside their applicator, and see an orrfice hole?
Can you measure it with a drill-bit?
I have an idea using a totally different applicator but need to verify the orfice size they use in that applicator......
I will check it out and let you know. Main reason I changed is I don't like the spray pattern. if it was better I would just use the applicator and spread more efficiently. I know people at Gtechniq have also tried this in a hand spray bottle.

--- this is a very cool adjustable "FAN" spray nozzle. I'm hoping it has the same thread-size to screw-on my Hyde Spray Wand that has an adjustable ratio-selector from 1:7 - 1:128.... if this thing works, it might be a good tool for mixing-applying chemicals.

Their Garden sprayer has a much different ratio-scale from: 1:43 - 1:256

I'll have to run a few bucket tests to see how accurate they both are......
I hope that Eley Spray Nozzle fits and does not affect the ratio mix-rate.....
@@chrispompano That is a really good idea especially for those that live up north or salty ocean areas. Get underneath coated with something and Easy coat can be used on anything. If that nozzle doesn't fit I'm sure there is a clever way through adapter fitting to get it to work.
