3:12 to 3:27 or so is really interesting, because that voice has thus far been used for (It's implied) some sort of *Atlantean* lieutenant of Kastor's, so them still giving you advice while you're playing as Ajax and Amanra would've been weird. All this cut dialogue does make me wish that there'd been more Atlantean characters with presence on the battlefield- Krios being playable it at least one mission, and perhaps make the Atlantean with a creepy voice who leads their mission to Egypt be a named character who stays loyal to Krios, so you have to kill him during one of the last two missions, though obviously that's a change that would've had to take place much further back in the pipeline than something that just restores dialogue. It makes me realize how much this campaign must've been a kinda rushed production, on tighter deadlines and smaller budgets than the original, even for its compressed length. The only cutscene line that seemed worth keeping was the Arkantos one calling out that the places where Titans spawn are places Kastor has already been- I would love it thematically, for emphasizing Kastor's guilt, but it is kindof a plot hole because neither of the follow-up missions feel like they're on the same or similar maps to the previous visits.
Surprised so many people asking to have these modded in. As someone new to the game (introduced to it by my gf) I recently played through both the main campaign and this one, and the titans campaign is, like, really naggy. It's just constantly giving you 'hints' (ie, obvious things like 'you need to build walls', 'you need to build an army', -'you must construct additional pylons'-). I much preferred how the main campaign mostly left you to figure things out yourself, and almost all the dialogue was about the story, not the gameplay. Still a ton of fun tho.
If i remember correctly, most of these are used in other languages, a lot of these dialogues are used in the german version, not the melagius ones though, those would be too annyoing tbh
TBH I'm glad they were cut, it's borderline annoying and with the voice acting of the New Atlantis which is way to over the top and noticeably worse than Fall of the Trident.
I don't think there is anything unused from those two. Those two campaigns were a bit more compact. As far as I can see they used all the VO files in their folder.
It was the game of our childhood. Thanks to this, I discovered that Atlantis is the lost continent. Who knows when the continent of Atlantis will be discovered?
it has always struck me a bit too silent - the titans campaign, now I see why, lots of regular normal sounding voice lines have been cut
If Retold comes out, they really should add these back. It's actually very considerate to the player and story interactive as well.
Someone should add in all these cut voice lines to make the campaign more alive.
You can do that with editor, just find camping map file and voice sound file and you'll need triggers for each one
Ha! I loved Amanra recalling Gargarensis.

2:18
This one was actually included in the spanish dub
Pretty sure I had it in the French version too
5:37 Ajax doesn´t need the help from a titan, HE CAN CRONOS BY HIMSELF!!
The only line i wish they kept was the Gargarensis line

i agree but they could have used some of them like amanra talking about gargarensis and mount olympus one
“Athena blesses us with Minotaurs.”
Athena, why are you fighting Arkantos’ people?
Because the Atlanteans were being tricked by the titans

In spanish they are used too xd. I wonder why.
Some of these were really bad lol. It's understandable why they were cut.
Wow this is so interesting, but most of this unused voicelines give me Age Of Empires vibes.
I hope they add all these for AOM retold
Why are so many dialogues not used?
Good question
there is some dialogues that can be heard if you stop and do nothing
Golden boar Unused dialogues
I couldn't find any unused dialogues from the Golden Gift.
@@moddingaom5622 okay, will there be more unused dialogs or not there any more?
@@JayJustynaPL There might be more from the Fall of the Trident. After that I am planning to compile them all of them in a single video.
I don't think there is a lot of voice sound files
Treasure
Interesting!

Can someone mode this into the game? Ffs
There is editor, find campaign map file and voice sound file and put triggers to trigger the dialogue
Anything unused from the tale of the dragon or golden boar?
Pretty sure tales of the dragon has nothing interesting to note.
Fully agree

@@zonetropper absolutely, I wouldn't bother to touch that shit, I wish it's was a good campaign as well as the others but no
@@Omega-jg4oq yeah tbh they sucked dick i rarely use chinese faction

Is anyone else shipping Amanra and Ajax in their heads, or is it just me? 😏
I like them better as friends and partners, not shipping.. that's fcking weird
Personally I ship him with Arkantos, but that's probably only because I fancy the gentlemen.
@@Ctc689 never taught i would see somone ship arkantos and ajax but here we are
Is there a mod adding all this?
Sadly, no. I used Adobe Premiere to add all the missing sounds. Re-implementing all the sounds via triggers takes too much time.
