Lovely build and finish! I have the Mid and Early, just waiting for my skills to improve before I take them on. One small comment - the exhausts were made of an alloy called Inconel and were more of a darker brownish black when new.
Dear Mr Twin, You put together a nice model there- the finish is most professional! If I may, Middle Wallop is in Wiltshire and not Kent. Most of the 234 sqn operations were over Kent or East Sussex owing to the higher enemy activity there than over the central South. As you say, the cockpit is a triumph- the decal for the instruments is almost photographic in its quality and is visible. I used the original seat and belts which looked pretty good I thought, but HGW make a good accessory! I now have the Mk1 early and will get around to putting that together at some stage, but won't be able to compare the two as I gave my Mk1a Mid away! Keep modelling! Regards, Z

Cheers ZinZan. My mistake. I looked Middle Wallop up. Slightly north-east of Salisbury?

It’s in that region and accommodates the museum of army flying. Worth a visit if you should ever have the chance!
