Absolutely love that you're running stock air filter. Hate the mentality that it's worth more particulates in the intake for +~15 hp. As you said, consistency is definitely the right approach to take when building. Also appreciate your comment about dyno performance not equating to track performance.

RacerX is a great RUclipsr. Very articulate and gets to the point quickly while being entertaining. I have almost his pulley set up just need to go to 2.75 as i already have the Ati 10% and Metco 2.85. Then I just need to go E85 and I already have the 1200cc injectors ready. I think he would benefit with a different intake either Legmaker or like intake. They do make power on lesser powered 'Cats so should help his. We also need a way to upgrade factory fuel rail crossover. Boostapump is great if done correctly and actually more powerful than a dual pump on flow bench at factory voltages. Several people now run dual pump with Boostapumps now we are talking massive fuel flow capabilities. My Hellcat Challenger is a manual and Im currently at 17lbs boost on 93 Oct with a couple gallons of e85 added and some Boostane.

What are your suggestions for a 2016 Challenger Hellcat 6 speed manual? I only have 2300 miles on it and have added JLT Oil Catch Can and JLT intake. Currently, I don't plan on many mods for the near future as I do have extended warranty on it, but I'm thinking I will get the urge for a pulley. You mentioned the 2.85 pulley is a great setup. Outside of the 2.85 pulley and belt, and 4" DSS driveshaft, would you recommend anything else besides tune? I want to keep 93 octane and you were talking about the gearing. Manuals have a 3.70 gearing, so would I be good with that? The less I have to do is preferable as I'm trying not to tinker with too much. Trying to keep reliability as high as possible as I want to keep this car for a long time. It was my dream car. (I don't daily drive the Hellcat). I'm not really looking to go to the drag strip for any time goals, but just some fun with the car and to make more horsepower. Is 800 whp possible with the above? Thanks.
Your car out runs higher power cars because of setup and balance. Your power level works with the chassis and suspension where some of the higher power cars(closer to 1000rwhp) are fighting the power.
Honestly unless you are spinning the blower faster with just the 2.5 with stock lower I highly doubt the 1 pulley setup to create anymore heat then a smaller upper and larger lower pulley.
Very informative again. You tell it like it is and do it like your buds with everyone. Thanks for the straight-talk. One little observation (being the techy guy that I am) is on your video footage. I like your mounted camera setup in the car but with your hand-held footage, it's really shaky. Get a gimbal stabilizer. It'll really make it smooth while you're hand-holding. They're cheap too if you're using a phone. If there's a way to direct message me, I can give you suggestions which one would work. I've done the research. Thanks bro.
You think engine is safe if I put pulley system, cold air intake, exhaust, and a new driveshaft? I’m not looking for 1,000 horsepower I’m only looking for an extra 75-100 while maintaining the longevity of the engine. Advice please!
I got a hold of Peitz to get some pricing on the Bravo package and they had a throttle body, ported snout, cold air filter, a triple pump system that you don't have. Maybe they should call it something else
Good pump and the boostapump is fine. Problem was in wiring the boostapump. Some guys screwed it up. Now it's plug and play. It's not a bandaid as it does what your car does from the factory Boost flow based off voltage. Not hard to understand. Dual pumps are not perfect either. You are trying to get double flow out of the same size orifice. Hard to do

Boostapump is not a bandaid. It is a tool to use. It works and is a nice option as long as your fuel pump is in good condition. As far as being inconsistent, nope. The cars you saw were inconsistent but not because of a Boostapump. Makes no sense to blame the BAP
coolea video. I saw it today by accident and immediately became aware of it. your valve cover looks exactly like mine. I'm from Germany I bought the Challenger Hellcat 2016 and had this cover made directly from carbon. always cool to see that others have the same ideas.
Does running ethanol 85-30-15 make for problems down the road. Is there more maintenance required going that route? Why dont ford dodge and chevrolet just set these cars up to run flex-fuel? How perfect would that be. A win win because car manufacturer could say higher hp, consumers would have straight out of stealership and E-gas people likely sell more fuel with less enviromental drain.
Hey Paul I guess Dodge listen to you I finally pulled the plug traded in my scatpack on the new 2019 Hellcat charger comes with the killer chiller line lock and all kinds of other needs stuff. I haven't posted a video of her yet her name is Charlene Lobby putting one up soon going through the break in process and I doubt I will ever see the track but who knows I already know one thing I will see a few Mustangs Camaros Etc right here on the street. Her name is Charlene I really think Dodge watches your videos cuz all the improvements you've made to yours are in the 2019
OLDSCHOOL 392 .. that’s awesome buddy! I hope your loving that new cat 👍.. yes Dodge definitely starting adding some helpful things that they were lacking
It doesn’t flow as well as the original fram filter stock this is why dodge went with it. They actually did there research when building this car. Reasons why it doesn’t flow as well are the material used is a thicker and more durable design and although it screens more it doesn’t flow like the fram. Plus another down fall is K&n have a oil on it and when you put it in it’s fresh so the motor sucks it up hitting the MAF sensor and screwing up air readings over time while collecting dirt. Some other variable to think about is the box is a ram air as well so it sees a lot of flow from both ends between 100 plus mph on it forcing air and a supercharger modded to spin faster sucking one a straw relying on every little bit of air so the last thing you need is more material restricting flow and fucking readings up so the computer starts pulling timing. I’ve personally tested this myself and I have a hellcat and he is correct even stock you can see a difference in power. It’s been tested before on the dyno and it is a known fact in the hellcat community that drop ins do not add power and if you change your oil and filter every 3k or less with your filter its perfectly just fine under these time line intervals which was the reasoning behind it although a bit more expensive in the long run as it’s not reusable like a k&n.
For just a 2.85 on regular pump gas you should be fine with the stock injectors my friend. When you jump to E85 you have to go with much larger injectors because the car eats so much more fuel.
How is it you got your racing stripes to look like it came with the cars paint job?I have racing stripes on my HC but there just stick ons.what set up do you have ?
Can you still run pump premium if you have the E85 tune? Also would your mods be too much not a daily driver but one that takes long trips like 1k miles?
Hey racer x what kind of drive shaft you have cause I'm thinking about running some nitro 888r radials at 20 inch and 305 I would like to hear if any one has done this or just get the tires without the shaft and running on digs thanks
Very informative. I am just looking at the exact gains you mentioned with the pulley, nothing too crazy not looking to break world records, but I do want to have a bit of fun trolling. Are you still running reliable?
Sucks for me. I'm running almost the same setup as you minus the fuel pump upgrade in my Trackhawk. I dont believe Fore makes a drop in pump to work with the OEM lines. Therefore, I'm running a BAP right now. Blah. I dont like it but I also don't want to drop thousands on a complete Fore set up.
E85 is fantastic! Just don’t leave it in the tank! Fill, drive, and repeat. For the winter go to black key out in about 1/4 tank of 93 run it through the system and store.
Nice video. I have an incognito pulley on mine running on pump gas and I just had a tuned. The only thing I don't really care for is the one two shifts are too quick with 262 gears. And the little harsher that I like I actually like the way it shifted stock. But man the tune made a huge difference. By the way do you still have the hellcat?
Do you have a build list with brand names & everything that was on your car in this video? I’m really liking how the setup is fast but more importantly RELIABLE & CONSISTENT. Love the car man & great video!

I hope your loving that new cat 👍.. yes Dodge definitely starting adding some helpful things that they were lacking
hey :)
on 3:40 u said that the K/N FILTER WAS NOT GOOD ENOUGH,
CAN U PLEASE GIVE US MORE DETAILES
thank u
Ok, what about sway bar links do you have to shorten those for them rears?
True stuff true stuff
Just for clarification, the 10% lower is from ATI, not Innovators West who make a 9% pulley for our cars
Great video and love the car!
Hey I’m a subscriber hope you are doing good quick question so with the 2.85 pulley I don’t have to change my injectors of my 2019 charger hellcat?
For just a 2.85 on regular pump gas you should be fine with the stock injectors my friend. When you jump to E85 you have to go with much larger injectors because the car eats so much more fuel.
RacerX ok thank you for the info and I appreciate your time to respond have a great day
Awesome fucking vid. You saved me a bit of money. Thanks!!
I been trying find a decent blower for my set up i think im going to stick with the 2.7 redeye/Demon blower
reliable? have u gon 2 years without going to the shop outside of routine maintenance? can u go on a 800 mile road trip with no worries?
How is it you got your racing stripes to look like it came with the cars paint job?I have racing stripes on my HC but there just stick ons.what set up do you have ?
Can you still run pump premium if you have the E85 tune? Also would your mods be too much not a daily driver but one that takes long trips like 1k miles?
with this setup do you need one or two of the dual fuel pumps? new to hellcats
Hey racerX have you ever checked out Demonology? If you have a Demon killer you should hit him up!
Dennis.. yes Demonology and I are good friends and have raced quite a few times.
@@RacerX9 thats awesome to hear! I love both channels. You both put out amazing content. Keep up the good work!
Hey racer x what kind of drive shaft you have cause I'm thinking about running some nitro 888r radials at 20 inch and 305 I would like to hear if any one has done this or just get the tires without the shaft and running on digs thanks
If you place a Killer chiller will work as the power chiller?
Cool
Just got my 20 wide body charger this helped a lot
RacerX did you get the Fore Innovations fuel rails? Could you explain exactly what package you got from Fore Innovations?
I am actually still running the stock rails as well 👍
Very informative fantastic video!
Very informative. I am just looking at the exact gains you mentioned with the pulley, nothing too crazy not looking to break world records, but I do want to have a bit of fun trolling. Are you still running reliable?
Great information! Great video
I have a Redeye does this set up work as efficiently as it does on a regular Hellcat? If not what changes to this set up is required? Thanks
E85 is fantastic! Just don’t leave it in the tank! Fill, drive, and repeat. For the winter go to black key out in about 1/4 tank of 93 run it through the system and store.
What do you think of the 2.85 upper and 10% lower? Vs the 2.75 upper and 10% lower?
If I was to do this could I still use my hellcat as an everyday car?
Do you have a build list with brand names & everything that was on your car in this video? I’m really liking how the setup is fast but more importantly RELIABLE & CONSISTENT. Love the car man & great video!
Isn’t the stock blower unreliable?
