OMG, you saved this to RUclips?? I can't even describe how grateful I am... I thought this was all lost to time. 'Eat Carpet' represents a pivotal part of my development as a child and a human being. It means so much to me that you took the time to preserve this part of Australian television. You're a saint.
Hey do you happen to remember the name of the short cartoon series that appeared on some episodes of eat carpet, had like a giant tick man or something and a little girl who kept hearing the scratching of her pet rabbit. Her dead pet rabbit lol
Let's face it, we stayed up late as young teenagers for the tits. But little did I know at the time, it would forever shape my mind and its quest for the weird and wonderful.
I stayed up as a 24 year old watching "Eat Carpet". I agree with "Copious Doinks" it was pivotal and developmental. Wow... mind blowing and soo much fun !!!
Used to watch this with my mates in the wee hours of the morning, in my Deliverance abode in the dark and lonely silence of the countryside, after navigating everyone home in my starship from Friday nights out.
Used to have some pretty interesting stuff on eat carpet. Hope as much political incorrect material is saved as possible as it is part of our cultural history.

I loved this as an adolescent. If it were on today I’d still watch it.
Thanks @Maximus Headroom only wish there were more of these episodes out there!
Someone now do a video that's every single des Mangan intro
feels weird watching this in the day time
Why isn’t this show still being done!
There was a Flash Gordon style show either on Eat Carpet or around that time, any ideas?
