Margaret Pomeranz detained 2003 - Debate on Ken Park ban - Channel 7 and Channel 9 reports
Australian Film Censorship - 2003 **Apologies for low quality at beginning. Old recording with bad reception.
Debate between Des Clarke (Director of OFLC) and David Marr (Free Cinema) on Ken Park ban

She has been critical of the Australian Office of Film and Literature Classification (now the Australian Classification Board), the Australian censorship body, on a number of occasions, and has actively spoken out against production companies refusi...

I was kind of surprised at Sir Tony's wrather lais sez faire attitude toward another thespians alcohol addiction. I guess not everyone has a desire to help a friend get sober. Interesting. I thought he'd have been more compassionate. Or maybe Sir Tony was more like a Richard Burtonesque figure and was like the man's man. You know, let a man have his vices as long as it doesn't corrupt his art kind of thing. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I detect a deep sadness and regret when Gary speaks of his father....or the absence of the same. I believe his life and emotional acting style is a direct result of that void in his life. Is South London 'the Hood' by the way?? He seemed to have grown up in a middle class exitence, though, as opposed to a lower class one. Piano lessons and college are expensive so his mum did well as a single parent.

At 47.10 he gets a bit mad and saying 'Not to take bullsh#t". I am really curious about the comment he's got before that. It's a bit out of context.

War Zone is one of the most harrowing films I’ve seen. Kind of strange how two of the best British movies War Zone and Nil By Mouth were both directed by first time actor directors Roth and Oldman. And they both starred in Meantime together

Tim has the kind of career most character actors dream of as an ideal. Working on fantastic intelligent films for the most part but also popping up in big budget hits now and then, becoming a respected name but not a famous pinup, doing well but still motivated to take work and challenge oneself.

The scene where Winstone's character pulverises Burke's character, nothing is explicitly shown. You think you have seen a viciously violent scene. All to the imagination. Clever directing by Oldman.
