This was an eye opening, super fun and certainly a challenging experience! Really enjoyed dissecting your notes and trying to match them with the whiskies. Thanks for playing along brother, here's to many more challenges and whisky fun ahead 🥃
Heck yeah! We want a round two. The nervous look on your face before you found out the results was priceless. I feel you. We spend all this time and money evaluating whisky and we hope we actually know what we are doing. Hahahaha. Ultimately, taste and smell are subjective so even if you get them all wrong it doesn't mean you don't know what you are doing. Nice experience!
Thank Tommy! Good to know we are not totally full of it! 😂 As you say it's subjective and all part of the fun and learning. Thanks for checking it my friend.
On to Round 2. I really like this premise. I wonder how a third participant would shake up the mix. Getting two sets of tasting notes would, I think, make this somewhat harder.
Very interesting, thanks to both blokes. This youtube raises the perennial question: is there objectivity in whisky tasting? There sort of is, but subject to subjective differences!

Deanston great drop!
Appreciate it!! 🥃🥰
Great idea for a challenge and a tough one at that, considering how personal aroma and taste perception can be. Well done Wade!
Thanks for watching!
