TestDriveNow.com featuring Drive Time with Steve Hammes , I have the Limited Edition, which I think sets itself apart more then this one. I love it while some think I'm crazy when they found out what I paid (actually it's a lease). I say what else can you get in this price point with remotely similar exclusivity? I've had mine exactly one year and I have only seen one other Limited on the road, and I live in a populated area of South Florida; Ft Lauderdale/Miami area.
The Chrysler 300 is one of very few cars I have neither driven or been a passenger in. That being said, I have driven a 200 and that was a miserable and disappointing experience. While the interior of this car looks very comfortable the exterior is extremely generic. I would have thought that the Varvatos Edition would have punched up some of that exterior drab. Not to mention the questionable resale value of a Chrysler. If I was spending 50 large on a four door sedan I would be looking at the BMW 5 series.
Did you drive a 2011-2014 model year chrysler 200 if you did then yes it would be terrible. But I think you should go drive a 2015 chrysler 200 which is completely different and redesigned.
Sebastian Prooth well when you get the chance to drive one you really should go and drive one. It is very comfortable it's not the sportiest car in its class but like I said it is very comfortable and luxurious.
For $50k, you'll be driving a stripped 528i with extremely limited options and a V6 and getting embarrassed by a 300 with the Hemi V8. But, hey, do you.
Steve W are you talking about the 2015 Chrysler 200c which fully loaded is $36,000 and competes with the Ford Fusion titanium and all the other fully loaded mid-sized sedans in its class. Also where did you here Chrysler was moving down-scale
Only the 2013 Varvatos edition with the " 000 of 2000 made" are truly limited. The 2014 was made out of greed.
I will be getting this car in a couple of days. Proud Future Chrysler owner here!!
Love John Varvatos cologne
Excellent review of the John Varvatos 300! Any chance of getting a free cologne when purchasing one of these luxury flagships?
im not exaggerating i subscribed to many car reviews channels but yours is the best !
Thanks, Khaled! That's high praise.
Loved the "First class ticket to Varvatos" line.
I had that Eddie Money song in my head for a week just thinking about it ;-)
I'm writing a country song called "I Drove My John Varvatos all the Way to Barbados"
Steve -- I'll be glad the 5.7L HEMI V-8 will get the 8-speed auto next model year.

I drove the older one you mentioned. I haven't had a chance to drive the new one yet.

joner800 0 thank you that's what I was going to say
$50,000 in 2014, its 2018 now you can get these for under $9,000
are u joking? if they have 150k miles on it, maybe.
It's 2023 and they still go for $24-26k
I dont see the point of this version unless you are john himself lol
Yeah. Because only Calvin Klein wears his underwear.
Overpriced, especially taking into consideration Chrysler's announcement that the brand will be brought downmarket to be what Plymouth was!
Where did you here that also when did you here that 20 years ago Chrysler said they were going more upscale look at the new 200
Brandon Wiley
It was announced this year, not 20 years ago. The 200 is a perfect example. It competes against low priced cars.

Brandon Wiley
Part of Chrysler's 5 year plan announced in May.
Well you probably heard wrong because none of Chrysler's products write now are down scale the 300, 200, and town&country are not down scale
