The CX-3’s suspension is great for countries like mine. Unlike the Mazda 3, a car that can be easily destroyed by the terrible road conditions and speed bumps all around my city, the CX3 deals with all that despite having pretty much the same ground clearance as the Mazda3. Also, higher seats increase survival chances in accidents, not to mention old people will realize that getting on/off the CX3 is a much easier task (my mom loves my CX3 for that). There’s also an emotional factor: some people just don’t want to buy sedans/hatchbacks and buy crossovers because... they just do, and that’s perfectly OK in my book. This little bad boy is very niche, geared to people with peculiar needs, and I totally fit in that group.
I bought a used one earlier this month (21 model). I’m in the US, and I’m 6’4”. I like the gas mileage, the handling, and it’s just easy to drive. I don’t feel cramped in the front at all.
STILL a good reference for those considering a 3, even us up here in the USA ( making that mental note to shift the steering wheel to the other side...). Clear and concise report, two thumbs, sir.
Picking up a new CX-3 Askari next week. FYI Apple CarPlay/Android Auto IS NOT standard yet!! I don’t why you thought it was late last year! $500 dealer fitted extra
Think guys don't get the CX3 over a 3 but 20 "something" girls love them, my daughter has one, at her works car park has quite a few, she say the girls that don't have one, want one. I've driven it quite a few times, maybe a couple of thousand kms along hwys, tight twisties and country roads and for a small car it supprisingly good at pretty much everything... Even though its based on a 2 I'd say you'd be hard pressed to know it by driving, the 2 which I've also driven a bit is great fun in the city but the CX3 just feels safer, solider, more grown up and better looking to boot. Maybe if it was just me I'd intellectually choose the 3 over cx3 in the showroom but having spent some time with the Cx3 its competence shines through with ownership and can fully understand its appeal.
Achilles heel alright. The CX3 has to have some of the worst packaging of any car on the market. It's only slightly smaller than the 3 on the outside, but way smaller on the inside. Like a reverse tardis. How Mazda achieved this is anyone's guess.
Well said. Most crossovers these days are that, a poser vehicle. The original crossovers were "SUV's on car frames". They've morphed into this slick machines that aren't much more than bloated hatchbacks/estates. Which is fine, just not my cup of tea. When you shrink that bloated vehicle down to this size.. it's hard to see it as a "crossover" anymore.

Amazingly explined.. I really like your video.
I would enjoy more if you have compared a bit with higher range, same model.
Are you sure you got the trunk space correct ? Here in the UK it is listed at 350 litres.
Love that car, Nice video Bro. Thanks

Wanna ask, why is there no HUD?
Sold!
The CX-3 will most likely be discontinued in the US. The CX-30 is better in every way for very little more cost.
Wow, the front “A” pillar looks very wide. That’s a bad blind spot.
That's why there is a Blind Spot Monitoring system in this car.
If its number 2, then whats the number 1

Americans buy a Mazda 3 hatch which has more room, better performance for the same or less money. The CX3 is a poser vehicle with alot of limitations.

because mazda cx3 is based on mazda 2 not on mazda 3
We liked the CX-3 better and that's just the way it is.
