    I just purchased a 2016 CX-3. Omg I love it!!! The gas mileage alone are reasons to praise this car. I am getting over 30 miles a gallon. I don't need a race car. It does it's job. And fun to drive. Zoom Zoom!

      Do you still like it as much now as when you first bought it? How is the reliability? I am looking for second car, a good reliable runabout probably the same age as yours.. Thank you.

      @@StacyMontes71 Hi Stacy, do you have the white or black interior? If white, how do you keep it clean?
      I really like the design of this car❤

    Hey Marek, nice review. Just picked up my CX-3 last week here in Dallas, TX. No manual trans option, of course, but that just means we get paddle shifters. WIN :) I liked your 'honest' review, even thought it was more based on your dislike for some of the adjustments the driver has to make due to lack of space. The design and fit & finish of this car is sculpted and inspiring, I would venture to say what Mazda has been doing as of late with their Kodo design, they're on par with BMW's designs.
    Driving experience is awesome - amazing to drive considering the competition, great handling, AWD system feels like it has rear wheel steering. I'd say the annoyances you mentioned with the smaller rear seats and the lack of cubby space only made me adapt to a slightly diff way to store my stuff. no prob tho, my iPod Touch sits nicely in the overhead sunglass bin and my mobile sits in the cup holder. the GT AWD model i purchased does in fact have an armrest, not sure why they don't get them where you're at. I can respect the misgivings you have on CX-3, but the points you made were easily overcome.

    thanks Marek. i guess the dislikes so far are from people who either don't appreciate honest car reviews or have just placed an order for one of these :)

      +altern8ive I absolutely hate myself for not liking this car, but it could have been so much better. If they fix the boot and sat nav, it'd be brilliant.

    Thanks Marek! The CX3 looks pretty good but is not a family car. I proved the Mazda 3 and when I came to the back part I was disappointed. When I spend a lot of money I don't like compromise :)

    Interesting and high quality video . Pretty honest review though I find you kind of picky about this car . Agree with you that the Honda HRV is a serious contender but I rank the Mazda quite above the Suzuki Vitara .
    I don't like the white tone of the interior much . The engine sound is very quiet and the gearbox sounds to function very smooth . Too bad it's pricey .
    Anyway I'd surely buy the CX3 instead of an Audi or BMW SUV.

    it is funny how CX-3 is being praised by almost all reviewers around the world and this guy just has negative things to say. The problem is 90% of your complains are very subjective and merely present your taste/opinion. I am not a fan of Mazda but this review is NOT fair/professional AT ALL.

    • @MarekDrives
      @MarekDrives 9 лет назад +1

      +parsani Objectively speaking there is often very little difference between cars. However objectively speaking Mazda has a good gearbox, stiff suspension, small boot and no armrest. Subjectively it is fun to drive (preferably with the 1.5 petrol engine), the boot is impractical, and sat nav is slow.
      Your comment is also very subjective ;)

    I do not understand why it is so expensive in Poland. Here, in Serbia with really good equipment (not the top one) it is around 18k euros for the 2L petrol.

    • @MarekDrives
      @MarekDrives 9 лет назад

      +Milos Zikic You can get a mid-spec MT 120 hp petrol for about 18k euro in Poland. I'm talking about diesel prices here. And diesels in Poland start at 23.5k euro.

  • @mykullee
    @mykullee 9 лет назад

    What country are you from? In North America (Canada for me), no manual is available for the CX-3... that's quite interesting that you guys do get that option...

    • @MarekDrives
      @MarekDrives 9 лет назад

      +Michael Lee Poland. This is a European spec car. We tend to get lower displacement engines and more diesel options, than you guys on the other side of the pond. In case of Mazda I guess there's not much difference in the engine department, because the petrol 2.0 SkyActiv is their global unit. Do you get a diesel CX-3 in Canada?

    • @mykullee
      @mykullee 9 лет назад

      Marek Drives Yeah, smaller displacement and a lot of diesel options is very common for European market I noticed. For example, you guys have MB E200 as an option while the lowest E class here is E350.
      Anyways, 2.0L SKYACTIV-G is the ONLY option in the CX-3 in North America. We do not get ANY SKYACTIV-D engines here. Mazda planned it about 3-4 years ago and they never could for some reason that isn't clear. It might've been something to do with rising oil level or constant maintenance. Plus, the VW's Dieselgate just raised EPA's awareness of defeat device in existence and that really discouraged Mazda to pursue Diesel engine in North America as they'll be more strict.

    • @MarekDrives
      @MarekDrives 9 лет назад

      Michael Lee I guess you have cheaper petrol anyway. Diesels make sense in some parts of Europe due to CO2 emissions-based congestion charges.

    • @mykullee
      @mykullee 9 лет назад

      Marek Drives Yeah, you guys also tend to focus on CO2 emission numbers especially in commercials and social media postings... it's not much of a big deal here for gas-operated cars.

    • @MarekDrives
      @MarekDrives 9 лет назад

      Michael Lee The bureaucratic machine needs something to do ;)
      I am all for clean air, reduced congestion, etc., but I'm not sure it is done the right way. Over the years car manufacturers learned to "pass" emission test. Never mind "dieselgate". Emission is tested in laboratory conditions, which have nothing to do with real life driving. And so we get these tiny turbocharged petrol engines (because carmakers hit a wall with diesels), which on paper use almost no petrol, but in real life they use 30-50 percent more fuel, than claimed. But you pay less tax on them, so it's kind of a win.

    I thought "honest" car reviews were supposed to be a balance of positive and negative aspects to the car. All this guy did was point out every flaw possible. I was actually looking forward to a nice detailed review on the Mazda CX-3 and I got this... Very disappointed... What a waste of 8 minutes and 49 seconds.

    • @MarekDrives
      @MarekDrives 8 лет назад +1

      +Brandon McGlynn I think you wanted to hear only the negatives. There's nothing I can do, if you expected sonnets praising the CX-3.
