I personally added chopped tomatoes, red onions, and sliced avocados to it which just made it even better! Thank you Sam for all you're recipes/vids!
This looks delicious. I just have one question. Did you use the same marinade that the raw chicken was in to pour over at the end? If so this is a risky maneuver since the marinade needs to be brought up to temperature just like the chicken to make sure you don't get food poisoning from the raw chicken juice. Unless you flipped it back over for a min or so after putting it on to make sure it got up to 165F. A safer bet would be to reserve a small amount from the batch that never touched the chicken and pour that over it to add more flavor while grilling. Or you could bring the used marinade up near a boil before using it on the chicken.
@@coldmeat8546 No. You don't pour marinade that contained raw chicken on the cooked meat. That's how you die. On second thought, you're right. Go ahead and do it. No worries

@@sherylleelee Sure, it was on the grill, but never came into direct heat and likely was on the grill a very short time (he noted that when he flipped, he was 2/3 done already). I was hoping to see him flip one more time to get a little more char and to burn off the raw chicken from the marinade
I tweaked this recipe a little bit. Instead of using chicken I used cut up almost cooked to steamed cauliflower. Delicious!
I think adding the uncooked marinade to the meat towards the end of cooking is a bad idea. I don't think it would have reached a high enough temperature to kill off the bacteria from the raw chicken
Course it will off don’t be silly
As soon as this opened up with those chicken thighs grilling, I knew this was going to be awesome. Thank you Sam!
Dude pouring that uncooked chicken tainted marinade back on the chicken is a big no no
I came here to say that!
He did cooked it though while it was still on the grill. Its not like he ate it right out of the bag with the raw chicken juice in it.
Should have Atleast flipped it again
if you paid attention he sped up the video and edited it around where he was flipping the chicken and cooking the raw marinade that he just put on
@@aramisstavridis6449 I think so too! and that grill is HOT! Right???
Can't wait to make this! Thank you again Sam!!! And BTW...the gardeners DO NOT bother us at all. We're listening to you, not them.
Don’t collapse on me now. That’s what she said.
Thought Max had thats what mom said lined up
Sam I love your channel. Your great recipes and your unique sense of humor are such a fun mix!
Here’s my issue (with virtually every cooking channel): I’m on a low sodium diet and there’s not a ton I see on channels like yours that caters to my lifestyle. I mean I basically have to do whatever I can to stay under 2000 mg of salt per day, or I may be in the ground a lot sooner than I’d like.
So as a request: can we get some delicious low sodium recipes to mess around with?
Thanks!
Gardener constantly sounds like he’s playing Sirius by The Alan Parsons Project but it’s stuck on the first note...
One of my top 10 recipes for sure
This time I'm with max. That damn leafblower can go to bloody hell
