*Hate it when the puddle I wanna step on is actually linked to the ocean housing a creature large enough to devour me whole* 😠 Amazing animation btw 🙏🏼
This is exactly why I love the SCP Foundation entries so much, they've allowed uniqueness and originality to be expressed without the preconceived borders and guidelines that might have otherwise constrained imagination. This is a perfect example of it; those of us familiar with the article in question know the details are scarce by design, with the only safe description being "giant aquatic predator" that led me, personally, to imagine something vaguely reptilian (why I have no idea, I think I saw a fan art once of it looking like a more streamlined plesiosaurus albeit to titanic proportions and it's been stuck in my head since). This interpretation, however, completely runs contrary to anything I could have imagined and that's the beauty of it, I could have never imagined it coming out this way and it's that sort of creativity and uniqueness that makes SCPs so amazing.
the moments just suspended in the deep were pretty tough. also, the whole time i'm like "dude.... AIR?" he seemed unconcerned for breathing. no attempt at getting to the surface. the surreal shapes in the dark were very accurate to diving. freakish. and then this bizarre thing casually riding up. an YOOO GOD, TEETH!!
Sometimes I gaslight myself into thinking I *don't* have thalassophobia so I try watching videos like this or swimming into deep water in a video game or something and it IMMEDIATELY REMINDS ME THAT YES I DO VERY MUCH HAVE IT.
Very vibe work! In fact, the first part (before the monster appeared) is even stronger (IMHO). The concept of the monster impressed - then only pumping into hyperrealism if desired, and it will already be AAA. Subscribed, liked - I wish you success! I'll be waiting.

ive always had an irrational fear of being teleported instantly into cold deep waters. i know this is 2 months old but goddamn, its like you know my fears.
whales can accidentally kill you by simply trying to talk to you. They vibrate you to death with their whale calls, and water is thicker than air, so it hits you harder than a large sound above ground. Underwater explosions are also much more powerful for the same reason.
Great clip, truly horrifying. Ive heard this SCP before and must ask if the human-esque face on the front is part of the lore or creative license? I do t remember the part about the face. Well done either way
I can tell you. There's no specific description about how does it look like, so it's up to the video makers' imagination how it does look like, hence the humanesque face on the snout is not official; however it's implied it may be an extraterrestrial creature given its telepathy and the ability to create portals to bring preys to itself and since the area which is its territory shows signs of redacted paranormal activity. Most people think it ressembles a gigantic shark (usually a Megalodon) but in a tale involving a SCP-682 termination attempt using the Acquatic Horror, it's written SCP-1128 has a reptilian appearance (for example, like a Mosasaurus).
The original article contains no description since the whole gimmick of the creature is that knowing what it looks like makes you vulnerable to it. So anyone is really free to interpret its appearance however they like. If I recall correctly, it is only referred to as "a giant aquatic predator". Also we know that it A) is big enough to casually eat a whale and B) has nasty-looking teeth. That's about it
@@adaman.shr.3538 I don't really know, since there's no mythology linked to this creature in ancient times, I suppose it came in recent times. I don't really think it came with a meteor, it's not specified if it breathes air or water and should've been able to survive a long Time without food or water to survive (not to mention surviving the impact). More likely, it can create interdimensional teleportation gates, thus explaining why its hunting area shows redacted paranormal activity and passes undetected for most people who don't know its appearance.

This is my fear just walking around my town or just doing normal things at home and then poof I’m in the middle of the goddamn ocean. Seriously that shits terrifying.
It felt like i was looking at a remake of a dreamcast game. The human face is more just odd than like creepy or scary, as it reminded me of that one game with the fish with a human face. Also the shadows of the damned lampfish. Theres plenty of real creepy fish that you could use for help with underwater creature designs, plus stuff like lampreys, killer worms, ironclad armored snails, etc. Everyone loves the angler fish, and eels have two sets of jaws just like a xenomorph
Funny how this person starts to panic only when the creature opens its mouth, like the fact that the humanoid face on a whale's body isn't creepy enough
This is why i avoid walking through puddles at all times. You never know which one is connected to an ocean containing lovecraft inspired abominations. It's just smart to avoid them.
I hate it when i walk over a puddle because i read an entire documentary of the entity and get sent to an ocean where a colossal shark with mutated appearance wants to chose me
